Thanks paranormalbouquet. My scan showed a heartbeat and a healthy yoke sack. But measuring 6+3 weeks which is a week behind. Not very reassured as both missed miscarriages the dates were out. The consultant agreed to rescan in 3 weeks and was trying to be positive. He said may be try and take low dose aspirin just in case. Want to get excited but I think I feel worse as I know the baby is alive and I just don't want to loose another baby Sad. Hope everyone else's scans are good news. Xx

Mum0918 · 01/05/2018 12:01

Just back from doctors and she has now referred me to the midwifes which is great but she said they be in touch round 12 weeks ish.....ill be on holiday in America and she cant say if they see me sooner feeling bit worried but not sure why

Chattein · 01/05/2018 12:17

Hi everyone.

I have the most horrendous morning sickness 😩 7 weeks 1 day today and can't even get out of bed.

Wearing the bands and got prescribed cyclizine from doctor!

Any other suggestions?!

Paranormalbouquet · 01/05/2018 12:37

@Skittlelover MMC are the cruellest thing aren’t they. I’m not reassured by measuring a little behind last week either. Although with DD she constantly measured a week behind even though I was sure if my dates, and she was absolutely fine. My obstetrician last time told me there’s an error of +/- 5 days on early scans so if you implanted slightly late you are well within that margin.

Glad you saw a heartbeat. Fingers crossed all goes well this time.

Gemsie1984 · 01/05/2018 13:26

@Skittlelover I'm measuring 9 days behind. Confused Did you ovulate late? I think I did on CD19 so I'm hoping that this is the main reason. I'm going back tomorrow to check growth and to see if there's still a HB.

Roomarmoset · 01/05/2018 13:55

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that posts on here. I felt so alone when I had my first MC (everyone around me was wonderful but they didn't really understand). It's helping me so much having you all on here talking about everything that I can relate to Flowers.

December2018 · 01/05/2018 14:04

Has anyone else got back pain??
I'm 7+5 and it's gotten really bad today 😖😖 XX

GoldilocksTheGraceless · 01/05/2018 14:22

Hey @Chattein I totally am there with you. I'm currently at home about to take a nap after having to leave work early. I'm a support worker and was so close to barfing on a client! This is awful. I'm really trying to embrace the beauty of pregnancy but I am tearful, exhausted, and on the verge of vomming at all times. 😩 I've been longing for this for years so there's a lot of internal conflict!!

I everyone having early scans and bleeds, I'm thinking of you all and keeping everything crossed that babies are healthy strong and sticky. Wishing you all even a moment of peace in this stressful time 💐

mrsd1103 · 01/05/2018 14:53

I had a rubbish nights sleep last night which has brought on the tiredness and the bloat, all my tops feel too short. I'm 5+1 today, it feels too soon for this.
Called and made my booking in app yesterday, hopefully I will make it to the 17th. Felt a bit odd calling to make a booking in app again so soon after a mc.

CherryO88 · 01/05/2018 14:55

Just about to go for my first scan. I am actually sick to my stomach with nerves. I’m 8+1 but I just don’t feel very pregnant, I felt so differently (ie horrendous) with DD. Going on my own as DH is working. Praying praying praying there is something in there!

Wanttomakemincepies · 01/05/2018 15:52

I have caved and got anti sickness from GP. Had HG with DS and sickness getting worse. Everything comes back, even water. Just need to go and collect from pharmacy.

MagicalCreatures · 01/05/2018 16:13

@Roomarmoset totally ditto what you said. You girls have kept me sane through this process.
Good luck to those going for their scans.
I have been feeling queasy, but god I’m so Hungry all the time. I don’t seem to get full up and if I don’t eat regularly I feel even more sick x

Rachie1986 · 01/05/2018 16:16

Magical I'm the same. Feel so sick if I don't eat near enough each hour!

So I'm 9w pregnant and DD has chicken pox! Thankfully we're pretty sure I had it as a child so should have immunity.

Cakelaur · 01/05/2018 16:21

Good luck @CherryO88 how'd it go? Xx

CherryO88 · 01/05/2018 16:28

So I’m actually only measuring around 6 weeks. Had to have an internal US to see sac with a yolk sac. No heart beat seen but consultant seemed to think it was too early but it’s panicked me. Back in 2 weeks time again Sad

JimmyPestoJunior · 01/05/2018 16:42

@CherryO88, I had the almost the same experience on Saturday. I went for a private early scan for reassurance thinking I was either 8+0 or 7+5 and was told the baby measures at 6+4. I saw the heartbeat which was great but the sonographer said the baby was tiny.
I'm not sure how worried to be now. I stupidly googled all weekend and still don't really know what to think. The lady doing the scan didn't seem worried at all but she thinks I ovulated late. I was tracking in March and my opk reckons I ovulated on day 15.
I am so confused but hopeful that all will be OK and the baby will catch up a bit by the 12 week scan.

Paranormalbouquet · 01/05/2018 16:49

I measured a few days behind on Saturday (thought I was 6+1 but they measured at 5+4). I know it’s really hard to get accurate measurements so early but after 3 miscarriages everything makes me panic!

With DD I persistently measured a over week behind even though I knew date of conception (DH was working away and only home for one night!) and she’s now 4 and running around so it’s not massively accurate I think!

Rachie1986 · 01/05/2018 17:06

Sorry to hear it wasn't as reassuring as you hoped Cherry and Tommy. Hopefully you get good results next time you're seen, waiting is so tough though..

Rachie1986 · 01/05/2018 17:07

Sorry Jimmy not Tommy (not sure where I got that from!)

CherryO88 · 01/05/2018 17:18

Hi Jimmy so worrying isn’t it. I’m not shocked by the dates, we managed to convince on my first cycle returning after stopping BF and I was fairly sure I ovulated late. Its the lack of heart beat that’s worrying me, most things I read report that heart beats should be seen at 6 weeks. Great news that you saw one!! Are you having another scan soon?
Hopefully it’s just the same again for you paranormal.
I’m just a bit numb, pleased that there is something but scared that’s all there is. Going to be a long 2 weeks

Paranormalbouquet · 01/05/2018 17:27

@CherryO88 when I had the scan on Saturday sonographer said he could just see a heartbeat on the scanner he was using, but that he probably wouldn’t have with his Monday-Friday machine as the picture isn’t as good. I don’t think you worry unless there is no heartbeat and fetal pole measures over 7 weeks.

CherryO88 · 01/05/2018 17:36

Oh that’s good to know paranormal. Thanks for that. Will just have to keep busy and try not to obsess too much until the next scan. As my dr said there’s nothing he or I can do to make it stay, or stop it from going if that’s going to be the case.

Usernamechecksout · 01/05/2018 18:46

@Yukka If you’re keen on doing the NIPT (non-invasive prenatal testing), they do them cheaper as well. Still about £400 but not as bad as £900! I’ve booked with ultrasound direct, and going next week.

Yukka · 01/05/2018 19:46

@username thanks for the info! I'll check my local ultra sound. I really don't want the needle, at 39 and 2mcs I'm just not sure I can face the risk of mc no matter how low. But equally at 39 I should have the tests.

For those with weird dates from sonograpger I had the same and can only reassure myself that the info isn't accurate. If you think about what they are actually measuring via sound it would be impossible to get it spot on at this stage. Plus, I guess we grow differently anyway.

I seem to be one of the lucky ones with no major bad symptoms. Sleep issues, tender boobs that vary, lower appetite, that's it. My younger sister is also pregnant, a week between us and she's literally laid up with a sick bowl. Feel for you all xx
