@MamaBerg bile is the worst kind, isn't it :(

Your boss can't have a go at you for taking sick days and holiday.
If he throws a fit, save some of that yellow acid for the front of his suit

Hope you feel better soon, maybe tell him by email so you don't have to deal with him?

MamaBerg · 23/04/2018 10:26

@Stephisaur Thanks, That made me chuckle a little!
You don't know my boss. He's only in the room next door and 'pops in for a chat' a few times a day so it would be weird emailing him about it. I was hoping to put it off til maybe Thursday as we have a team meeting then when I was going to tell the rest of my team. I'll only be 7+1 but have to tell them because as soon as I tell the boss I can't do my job (I work with chemicals) so they will have to all do it for me Blush

Usernamechecksout · 23/04/2018 10:38

balalala and cakelaur fingers crossed for you. You really can't tell at this stage. I have had bleeding and spotting during three pregnancies and two turned out OK (Well so far, can't wait for my ten -week scan).

mamaberg don't feel bad about taking sick days. Plus, pregnancy-related sickness doesn't count towards your sick days anyway! Just take it easy x

Stephisaur · 23/04/2018 10:40

@Mamaberg team meeting sounds good. You have other people for support that way :)

Do you have a HR department at your work? If he whinges, I think you can take it up with them. I think you also get some protection with pregnancy related doctors appointments? So he wouldn't be able to moan about that either

ArranRose · 23/04/2018 10:54

Hey Guys, I am still bleeding, trying not to think about it too much because there isn't much I can do, I have an appointment on the 4th with the midwife so just need to wait and see until then. Luckily my boss if a friend of mine and she knows so I have had a couple of days off but I feel bad taking anymore unless the bleeding gets worse. It's more than spotting but not like a normal period.
I hope everyone else is doing ok, scary times x

yellowmellw · 23/04/2018 11:02

@ArranRose how far along are you. Are you able to pay for a private scan to check things are ok

ArranRose · 23/04/2018 11:03

I am 5 weeks and 1 day I think. I maybe could I didn't ask the doctor when I went in.

yellowmellw · 23/04/2018 11:07

@ArranRose look up ultrasound direct they normally have a sit win each city I think in my area it cost £89 for an early viability scan from 6 weeks so worth a look if you can afford it.

Cakelaur · 23/04/2018 12:16

Just got back from walk in EPU. There's a teeny heart beat on the scan! I'm so relieved!!

@balalalala how you doing babe? Did you get hold of Epu?

Stephisaur · 23/04/2018 12:19

@cakelaur I'm so happy for you I could actually cry

balalalala · 23/04/2018 12:21

@cakelaur I'm so pleased for you! That's great news! Are you still having the spotting? I'm pretty much the same as the past few days. Scan is tomorrow afternoon so that'll be the telling point for me!

Maggi85 · 23/04/2018 12:26

@cakelaur that's fantastic news really pleased - how far along are you? x

Cakelaur · 23/04/2018 12:30

@Stephisaur I have cried all the way home!!! It was so tiny. Only 3mm they're dating me a couple days behind. I should be 5+6 but they think I'm 5+3. But they said that's no biggie and they're keeping my dates the same at 5+6.

@balalalala I have everything crossed for you.

We never saw a heartbeat with the last one. So I'm over the moon.

Mibby16 · 23/04/2018 12:46

Really pleased for you cakelaur

mamaberg I had to tell my boss as soon as I got a bfp, for the same reason. He's been OK about it so far

DoAsDreamersDo · 23/04/2018 12:53

ah Cake I'm so pleased for you. That must be such a relief for you.

Mamababynumber2 · 23/04/2018 12:59

Please to see everything is ok cake. Good luck balalala. How are you feeling?

Has anyone else had ewcm in week 6/7? I have just had 3 big blobs some slightly yellow others clear. Should I be worried?

Gemsie1984 · 23/04/2018 13:09

Congrats @Cakelaur must be a relief to see a HB.. did they say why you might be spotting?

Lots of EWCM, here too, been using a panty liner for the last few days. I'm 7+3.

Cakelaur · 23/04/2018 13:23

Thanks for the support ladies!
@Gemsie1984 they said it's cos of implantation or just baby snuggling in further or could be over doing it a bit. Loads of things. I feel so much better

GoldilocksTheGraceless · 23/04/2018 13:57

Oh god @Cakelaur I just cried with relief for you. I am so so happy to hear that everything is fine - better than fine to hear a heartbeat this soon!

@balalalala thinking of you lovely, everything crossed that you also get a huge sigh of relief with some excellent news tomorrow xx

0lgaDaPolga · 23/04/2018 14:18

So glad all is ok cakelaur. Hope balala is ok too. My sister had a huge gush of red blood on two occasions early on in her pregnancy and thought it was all over but my niece was fine and is now 3 so it doesn’t necessarily mean the worst.

If anyone would like to join the fb group just send me a pm with a link to your fb page and I’ll add you. It’s a secret group so no one can see you are in it or what you post unless they are also a member

Cakelaur · 23/04/2018 14:36

@GoldilocksTheGraceless I'm still teary eyes now!! So relieved!! Couldn't hear the heart beat but could see a little flutter on the screen! Best day of my life!! 😍

Mamababynumber2 · 23/04/2018 14:43

Thanks gemsie was ewcm? Was it in big blobs? I've never seen anything like ot. It was alot more than when I ovulate

Mountaindreamer · 23/04/2018 15:09

@cakelaur that's fantastic news! I know how terrifying it is not knowing...
i hope you will get good news as well tomorrow @balalalala Smile
Has anybody had af cramps and everything has been ok?! I am cramping on and off and so worried it's not a viable pregnancy again...Sad I'm 5 weeks today. Xx

Stephisaur · 23/04/2018 15:30

@mountaindreamer I've had cramps since 6dpo. I'm trying to live in blissful ignorance, but got first MW appointment next week so will ask then. Trying to assume that no blood is a good sign, but obviously I know that isn't always the case x

Cakelaur · 23/04/2018 15:30

@Mountaindreamer I've had af cramps on and off since I got my bfp. It's one of the reasons the spotting yesterday was worrying. They Also said expect a lot of cramping and pulling. Obviously if it's really bad get yourself down to Epu for a scan.
