4weeks and 2 days pregnant and praying its sticky!

I’ve been a grumpy mess today. We got the train to London for DH Birthday treat. It has been SO WARM 😩 my feet are swollen, I feel sick, and I’ve barely managed to stay awake on the train back. My stomach has also bloated past it’s usual fat stage so I look about 5 months rather than 5 weeks 😩

Hi, I've already joined the Facebook group but haven't said hello on here yet. Had an early scan today at 7 wks and all ok. Due 6th December. I'm 41 and we have an 18 month old.

@Cakelaur I'm out of stock so definitely no more POAS for me. Or... PIARV (piss in a random vessel). I showed my husband my 3+ week digital this morning and he just groaned, "I know you're pregnant! Why are you still doing these?"

Yeah. I don't know. It's an obsession.

@applesauce1 mine was like.... um I've seen this! I was like no it says 3+.. his response... what does that mean?! Haha bless him. He did get there in the end. Once I explained. Haha

The days are going agonisingly slowly. It's like the days leading up to payday very and over again! (I've only been pregnant for five weeks!)

Hi all, got some more symptoms now - sore boobs yay so starting to feel more real.
For everyone that is worrying and wanting to have a early scan I would say it’s nice to check that everything is ok but once that scan is done you will start worrying again and be counting down the days until the 12 week scan..all I can advise is what will be will be, trust your body and just wait and see. I have had 3x miscarriages and i understand how upsetting it is and how excited you get when you get the positive line and start planning for your baby and then things don’t work out - my last miscarriage was in December I was 16 weeks it was heartbreaking and very difficult to deal with - but I’m here and pregnant again and I have to be excited and positive and look forward and trust that things will be ok otherwise I would be a miserable nervous wreck and that would achieve nothing. Words are easy and believe me I worry and I have my down days but Everything will be ok in the end and if it’s not ok - it’s not the end xxx love to all of u going on this rollercoaster journey xx

@cakelaur thanks for checking in on me! Doing OK. The bleeding stopped during the day yesterday but started up again yesterday evening. Glad I've got the scan booked but Tuesday still feels so long away!

Well I've had pink/brown tinged cm on wiping today. I had this last time when I had mmc 😭 totally freaking out

Thanks ladies. I've got a scan on Friday with Epu anyway due to previous loss. There's nothing that anyone can do until then anyway. I knew it was too good to be true.

*cakelaur don't give up. I've had two missed miscarriages and I had spotting with only one, but I also had spotting with my son so I think it isn't conclusive. But it's so stressful. Hopefully will be good news Friday. Keep distracted.

I am 21 found out a few days ago that I am 5 weeks pregnant with our first baby. Pretty big surprise but I am happy about it. Was a bit worried yesterday because I had a bit of craming and bleeding but the doctor said just to wait and see, and come back in if it gets worse but seems to be settling down. I guess it's now just a waiting game until the first appointment with the midwife.

Thanks @Skittlelover I just have. Gut feeling it's over again. But we'll see. Even more harsh, I've just started feeling sick today!! 🙈

Cramping and a bit of bleeding can be normal at this stage but listen to your body & congratulations :-)

@Cakelaur I agree with PP who have said that it's normal at this stage - has it turned bright red or still brown?

I've just finished up another baby painting commission and cannot wait to make one of these for my very own baby. Every time I made one of these, my heart would sigh for its own baby to paint for. So hoping and praying that the little bean sticks so I can make that dream come true...

It's stopped for now. But this was my first sign something could have been wrong last time.

@applesauce1 that is the cutest!! Do you hand draw them?

@Cakelaur I'm really crossing my fingers for you. If it's stopped then that's a good sign.
Yeah, I draw and paint them by hand. Terrible business model as they take ages and I don't know how to make prints.
Will def be sticking to the day job!
