Re internal scans: with my first I had one at around 8 ish weeks I think and was reassured it was perfectly safe. Don't worry about it.

midnight1983 · 20/02/2018 08:40

Rose, yes I have experienced lots of dizziness with this pregnancy and the last one. For me, it's low blood pressure that causes it. I was advised to get my head below my legs to redirect blood flow and it helps a lot.

caoraich · 20/02/2018 10:42

Rose yes I've been very dizzy too. Feeling rotten overall. Have morning, afternoon and middle of night sickness and look like death. Can't face eating most of the time and I've actually lost weight! 😭
When will this supposed pregnancy "glow" arrive!?

rachkmp · 20/02/2018 10:48

@caoraich you sound exactly like me! I've actually had to take the day off work today as I travel 3 hours round trip on public transport and it's just wiping me out! 😓

monkerina · 20/02/2018 11:18

I'm all low blood pressure-y, dizzy and cold/hot sweaty too, highly attractive! Sure last time it wore off by about 14 weeks, not much longer to get through...

SLR1906 · 20/02/2018 13:05

Id be happy if morning sickness did what it said on the tin!!

Day 5 of being sent home from work, i am exhausted and sick, im only 7 weeks, when will it endSad

Kitty610 · 20/02/2018 13:48

Another pregnant lady here feeling like death warmed up! Weak, nauseous all day, headache, fluey. Not sure how to get through the next few weeks!

Troika · 20/02/2018 14:16

Very tentatively poking my head around the door. Got a bfp on Friday last week. Period was due on the Tuesday but I was refusing to get my hopes up and test. So 5 weeks today. Really nervous about this one as I had a mmc in August last year.

This is my 6th pregnancy and if it works will be baby 4 (final baby!)

Symptoms so far
Extremely mild nausea - not constant
Heavy boobs
Unable to stay awake when watching tv in the evening
Insomnia once I actually go to bed
Slight dizziness at times
Getting up several times in the night for a wee

Had hyperemesis with my first and bad sickness with the others. Not looking forward to that kicking in again but will gladly take it for a baby at the end of it.

rachkmp · 20/02/2018 15:47

@monkerina @SLR1906 @Kitty610 sorry you're all feeling so crappy too! I've bought those acupressure wrist bands but they don't seem to do anything. I have found juices and citrus helps but I think that's because it gets rid of the disgusting taste in my mouth for a bit 😂

rachkmp · 20/02/2018 15:48

Welcome on board @Troika! 🎊

FrauNeuer · 20/02/2018 16:12

Hi ladies, I’ve been too nervous (still am!) to introduce myself before but please could I join?

This could be baby number one after more than 3 years ttc. I was lucky enough to conceive on first round of ivf and I’m panicking after 2 previous mcs.

I’ve already had a viability scan at 6w4d which showed a lovely heartbeat and perfect size, but I’m still in a state of constant anxiety, expecting something to go wrong.

Age 33, due Oct 1st.

I just have to keep eating- carbs are my lifeline, even when they're unappealing! Also, the one night last week when I had a big bowl of roast potatoes and gravy just before bed (classy) the sickness the following morning was definitely less bad.

Just had an early scan- all good in there! Phew!

monkerina · 20/02/2018 16:28

Congrats frau and other new joiners, fab news!

Alyosha · 20/02/2018 16:51

Massive congrats Frau & Troika!

I still don't really believe I'm pregnant...I'm expecting to pop in for my viability scan and be told that there's nothing there...

ATP1000 · 20/02/2018 16:56

I hope you all feel better very soon! I think you must be a few weeks ahead of me, I’m 4w+6. Reading all your symptoms is like a glimpse into the future! Obviously I’ll be grateful to have it as I sign that things are progressing well but in the meantime I’m going to make the most of being able to get through a day at work!
Good luck to everyone and hello to the new joiners! 👋

FrauNeuer · 20/02/2018 17:01

Thanks guys. Smile

Alyosha I know the feeling! I spoke to the midwife for the first time last week and just felt like a fraud - waiting to be exposed at any moment!

I think it’s because my symptoms are still really quite mild. Not only is it causing me massive stress but also means it hasn’t really sunk in yet.

Alyosha · 20/02/2018 17:17

Frau - my symptoms are also super mild. My mum told me that she didn't have particularly bad symptoms either, so I'm hoping it's genetic!

Mainly my tits are on fire. But that comes and goes. It's been totally absent from 2pm today and I've convinced myself that it's a sign of a m/c :p

ConfusionIsNothingNew · 20/02/2018 18:55

Another one with super weak symptoms here!! Boobs haven't hurt much today and I'm not as tired as I was so obviously convinced myself that it's all over.

I had few symptoms with my DS, so I should know better!

FrauNeuer · 20/02/2018 19:42

It’s warped, isn’t it?! I was sick when I got out of the shower on Sunday morning and the absolute joy that brought me - I cannot begin to explain! Blush That’s been the only real episode. Mainly just had very mild occasional nausea which comes and goes.

Doesn’t it make you panic, though?! Shock

ConfusionIsNothingNew · 20/02/2018 19:47

It's really awful-it's almost all i can think about morning, noon and night! I've got a scan in exactly 48 hours so hopefully I'll have my mind put at rest then, or so I hope!

Alyosha · 20/02/2018 19:57

Ha exactly, if I threw up tomorrow morning I would be delighted, talk about nuts!

midgetjen · 20/02/2018 20:37

I am absolutely exhausted all the time - definitely don't remember it being this bad last time! But then also wondering if time has dulled the reality a bit too!

justtowarm · 20/02/2018 21:30

@midgetjen I think time dulled the tiredness for me, I was complaining to my partner that the tiredness is so much worst this, and he pointed out I was falling asleep mid conversation with my first. I've not been doing that yet! But I do feel exhausted all the time!

Kitty610 · 21/02/2018 06:19

I’ve got quite a heavy feeling today, like I get before my period. Not pains, just a dull ache. Very worried as I have it in my head that this week (5) is a risky one...
