DD had a a friend (boy) at the childminder's and when he was due a little sister his parents told him it would be a girl like ladydollysdd and he was then very disappointed when this tiny, loud baby came out instead of an exact copy of his 2 year old best friend!!

Hi everyone! Jealous of all these strong lines & 2-3 week digis! EDD 18th of October, Baby #1.

I tested positive around 19 dpo, I had a negative test that Saturday, so I'm unsure of my dates. Could have an EDD much later!

I'm getting clear positives at all times of the day, but none of them have ever been as dark as or darker than the control line, I think I just have to accept that I have pg symptoms and try to wait for an early scan.

I'm having a touch of nausea but my symptom is unbearable breast pain. Firey feeling through my nipples and heavy & aching. Ouch. Oh, and I'm ravenously hungry at all times.

Laney79 · 19/02/2018 14:17

Can I hop on?

Got my BFP on Sunday...

EDD: mid October (two due date calcs-one 17th other 21st!)
Baby #1
Age: 38

First feeling was primal fear! But starting to feel excited now.

ATP1000 · 19/02/2018 14:21

Well I’ve got myself worried today, temperature dropped 0.45 degrees last night. It’s still 0.6 degrees above the cover line but but I can’t help worrying. I wear the Ava bracelet but I think I’m going to have to stop because I don’t like seeing my temp go up and down every day. This is the lowest it’s been post BFP.
I know there are a few of us still charting, any advice is appreciated! I’m going to try to take a CB digital today, currently registering 2-3 at 4w4d which was yesterday. I have a pain in my lower left side near my groin, not too bad, just achy and a bit sharp. I’ve had pains either side alternately all the time post ovulation so it’s no change to before and the hgc has been building well. What a worry all this is 😞

Alyosha · 19/02/2018 14:46

I promised my DH I would stop taking HPTs as they were causing me nothing but worry...all positive with clear lines but I was obsessing over how dark they were. I also got similar advice on here to stop testing. I suggest you stop charting for the same reason, nothing can tell you with any certainty what will happen - maybe ask for an early scan for reassurance?

ATP1000 · 19/02/2018 15:18

Thanks @alyosha, good advice, I’m terrible for POAS and this Ava bracelet was incredibly useful for conception but it’s not so helpful now. I managed to hold on for 4 hours and have done a CB, it’s 2-3 weeks which given it’s the middle of the day, I’m going to leave it at that and rest. Not at work today so am literally going to put my feet up. Thanks x

Hiya!

Can I jump on, due October 17th I think! First pregnancy.

Absolutely exhausted!!!!! Asleep half the time, and wishing I was asleep the other half!

Nervous and want the next few weeks to go by so I can relax a little and enjoy the pregnancy... booked an early scan for two weeks time because I’m so impatient! X

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 19/02/2018 18:13

@ATP1000 one day's temp doesn't tell you anything. It could be an anomaly or a fluctuation due to many different factors. Plus, you're still above the cover line. Stop temping - you will drive yourself crazy!

Sorry if TMI but I've had so much CM today I had to keep running to the loo as I was convinced AF had come. Anyone else getting this?

I feel like I'm constantly paranoid that something is going to go wrong. I have no symptoms apart from sore boobs and I've so far had a 2 day migraine (and counting!) I've lost half my visual field but apparently it can last up to week! Never had this before but heard it can happen during pregnancy so I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else! Is anyone else googling like mad what they can eat/do? I have no idea what I'm doing 😂. Still haven't heard back from midwife either so gonna call the hospital tomorrow. Booking in for a 7 week scan just to be sure too. I think having symptoms would put my mind at rest a little more!!

@ATP1000 I have now also developed a dull ache in my left side groin with a few light but sharp pains. Is this normal?!

ATP1000 · 19/02/2018 20:11

@BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy I agree with you on the temping. Thank you for the sanity check.

Try not to worry about the pain (easier said than done), I’ve had mine for a week and the hcg has increased as expected per clearblue.

My pain has changed from being mostly on the right hand side to switching side every couple of hours. I’m putting it down to stretching of my uterus. It’s very low down in my groin.

My mum has had 4 children including me as a twin, she can’t remember the early pain exactly but described it as tugging, which mine could be kind of, it’s just not a description I would think of.

Obviously if there was blood then that would be a different matter and I’d be straight to the doctor/hospital.

Lots of CM for me today and yesterday, I think we are at similar stages, I’m 4w+5.

@catcrazycatlady I am googling everything too, it’s not always a good thing though! So many scary things to read, I try to limit it, especially at night time when everything always seems worse. It sounds like your migraine is a pregnancy symptom, I’m sorry it’s a really bad one, I get them occasionally and they’re awful.

Alyosha · 19/02/2018 20:47

Another one here for the CM. Every gush I run to the loo and think it's a miscarriage.

Boobs are agony at the moment, and I am needing the toilet all the time!

daisychain07 · 19/02/2018 20:54

Just got back from my early scan. There was a good strong heartbeat and the doctor was pleased. However, I have come away worrying!!! I thought I was 7+6 today and I only measured 6+4?? He said it can be up to 5 days out as they are so small at the moment but I am just worrying about everything! X

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 19/02/2018 21:01

Yay @daisychain07. Such a relief for you! Don't worry about the dates! You've seen a heartbeat! I can't wait for that moment and I'm so anxious about it.

Alyosha · 19/02/2018 21:01

Congratulations! Great news you've seen a heartbeat. I don't know much about it but I suppose there's always a chance you ovulated later than you thought as well?

RedRobin7 · 19/02/2018 21:02

@daisychain07 Hi I've been watching The October board as I'm due end of September but it may move into Oct once I've had my dating scan. I wanted to comment because I went for what I thought was my 8 week scan on Saturday but they said I'm only measuring 6w5days. I was so upset and worried something was wrong because I know when I ovulated so I can't understand why I'd be over a week behind! We heard the heartbeat so that's the main thing and they said no signs of any blood which would be visible by now. So I'm trying very hard to stay positive!

betsy2018 · 19/02/2018 21:03

@daisychain07 I had early scan Saturday and mine was approx week out from what I had calculated, I have had longer cycles in past though so putting it down to that. As long as heart beat that's the main thing at this stage, like they said can be out they are measuring something tiny at moment x

Thank you, trying to squeeze in loads of early nights!! X

rosemcn · 19/02/2018 22:46

@daisychain07 just wondering did you have a normal scan or an internal?? I’ve booked for an early scan in two weeks when I’ll be 7w+5

A friend told me the internal scan can be damaging to the baby but I can’t reallt believe that’s true??

rosemcn · 19/02/2018 22:48

Just wondered if any of you have felt dizzy?? It just started today and it’s really bad!

daisychain07 · 20/02/2018 06:21

Thanks for your comments ladies. I know I need to take the positive of the good strong heartbeat but it's just niggling in the back of my head that I had a very faint positive 4 weeks ago so I would have to be at least 7 something?

It wasn't an internal this time but with my first I had an internal at 7+2 and there was no harm so I wouldn't worry. X

daisychain07 · 20/02/2018 06:22

And yes I have felt dizzy at times, it's normal I think, your body is just filling with lots of hormones. X
