@ladydoll I've been finding I don't sleep unless I've got to the gym, which doesn't help! It's at work, and I don't want anyone to find out yet, so I might try and hold off telling them and just listen to my body instead.

@rachkmp Fleecy jammies, a jumper, a blanket and a husband as hot water bottle last night! Does this last? It's not cool.

2ndPGchimp · 16/02/2018 09:10

@MamaL86 if all goes to plan there will be 4 years 4 months between them. I am just surrounded by people who have left it no more than 2 years.

I was 10 when my little sister was born and I loved having a baby in the house!

Happy Fridays everyone - I hope they are symptom filled!

ATP1000 · 16/02/2018 09:24

@BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy and @twobambinos I got 2-3 yesterday at 4+1 with FMU, it definitely makes a difference, going to wait to next week for 3+... or maybe Sunday!

As evidence of my POAS addiction I’m confessing to my FRER timeline (attached!) very happy with the progression in a week but do admit I might need to go to POAS anonymous (if our chat page isn’t it already!)

Welcome to all of the new bfpsers!
I’ve been watching the thread but I’ve moved across to the fb groups ( I have friends that use Mumsnet so for me fb group feels more private!)

@ATP strong lines! Reminds me I need to poas to get my 3+. With my first I was completely poas obsessed but I’ve not bothered to poas all week!!!! Shock

I’m 5+1 now, and I’ve been so so tired all week. I’ve not called Doctors yet, planning to today.

EffRam · 16/02/2018 09:53

@ATP1000 haha I was just looking at my own pee stick collection and feeling a bit ashamed at how many I have so I feel much better that I'm not alone!

This is only two of too many to count...

Top is Wednesday and bottom is this morning's, its boots own 5 days earlier (don't worry I have also spent the rest of my money on FRER and CB digis...) but that's darker right?!

milknosugar I'm exactly the same - panicked all the way through aqua aerobics last night that I might 'bounce the baby out' Blush

EyeBaggage · 16/02/2018 09:55

Effram - definitely darker!

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 16/02/2018 10:01

I POAS again just to check the line is getting darker which it is (bottom one is today). However, DP just walked in on me testing and said in a mock small child's voice "Daddy, why are we homeless?" then replied to himself in his own voice "well, it's because Mummy spent all our money on pregnancy tests".

I do have one digital left so will do it Sunday which is a week after first bfp.

Also, does anyone else feel hungover without having a drop to drink!?

@ATP1000 I'm worried that I should have cramps because I don't! I didn't normally get them for AF either so hopefully it's ok.

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 16/02/2018 10:06

Forgot to attach! Bottom is today,
Top was Monday...defo darker right?

EyeBaggage · 16/02/2018 10:07

Biscay it feels exactly like a bad hangover for me - I'm craving carbs in the exact same way lol

EffRam · 16/02/2018 10:09

@BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy Deffo darker! And my FRER looks the same as your bottom one too so now I feel reassured!

Haha if my husband knew how much I've spent/how much time I've spent staring at them... whoops! I've got 1 digi which I'm going to do on monday 1 week after BFP to hopefully see 2-3, and then some IC left so that should tide me over for now!

Happy weekend, everyone!

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 16/02/2018 10:15

@EffRam yes my top one was done at at a similar time to your 14dpo (my 13dpo which was Day AF was due for me) and they're really similar!

Penny31 · 16/02/2018 10:22

@ladydolly I hadn’t thought of dehydration...I’m rubbish at drinking enough water so it could well be that. I’ll make more of an effort to drink more and see if it helps. Thanks!

monkerina · 16/02/2018 12:33

Loving the pee stick collections, mine is just as bad! DH thinks a clearblue digi is a ripoff at £5 cause I couldn't quite tell him the real price 🙈

ATP1000 · 16/02/2018 14:48

@BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy don’t worry about lack of cramps, you have other symptoms developing and it’s early days! I don’t want to say I wish I didn’t have mine but I do feel a bit fragile very quickly and I wasn’t expecting it.

Your recent line is definitely darker
Loving the POAS collections! Glad I’m not the only one ! 🙈

@effram yours are definitely darker as well,
Exciting times !! Xx

CaptainWentworth · 16/02/2018 16:21

Hi all, can I join in? Got a BFP yesterday at approx 11 DPO (not temping or anything, just based on apps). Can’t quite believe it! AF is due Sunday so I don’t think I’ll dare to get excited until next week at the earliest.

I also have a few extra tests (CB) which I’m planning to use later next week for reassurance!

I lost my first pregnancy with a missed miscarriage at about 10 weeks in August 2016, and this is the first time we’ve tried again since so I feel I might jinx things if I think about it too much. I won’t call the GP or anything for a week or two yet- although I’m interested to hear that PPs have been offered early scans due to previous MMCs.

I ended up with a perforated uterus due to the surgical management last time- I understand it shouldn’t make any difference now, but I can’t help worrying! (Mind you that is my general default approach to life!)

Best wishes to all on the bus!

Unicornchaser · 16/02/2018 16:41

Hi all, hope it's ok to join! I got 3 BFP today (because one isn't enough to trust!!)
Got the clear blue week indicator o try tomorrow as all of these were taken mid day today after a lot of water/toilet trips!

Totally in shock still!
Anyway this is me!

@EyeBaggage that's exactly how I feel! Hungover! Oh and giant sore boobs Blush

twobambinos · 16/02/2018 20:31

Yes yes to the hangover feeling without any of the fun.

Welcome to the newbies. We won't have many more joining the October thread as people will be due in November soon isn't that great another calendar month closer.
I'm excited for my scan this week to get my due date.

midgetjen · 16/02/2018 21:27

Have been cautiously lurking a little while before joining in as have had 2 early losses in the past 6 months.
If all goes well this time EDD is 15/10 and this will be DC2 as we already have a DS who is 3.
First midwife appointment is not until 26th and am currently mulling over whether an early scan would help with the worry at all.
Was amazing to have my mumsnet group when I was pregnant with my son, especially in these early stages when no1 in real life knows. Looking forward to hopefully having that again here :)

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 16/02/2018 21:52

Hi @midgetjen and welcome! Sorry about your early losses and fingers crossed for a healthy and happy nine months.

I'm also mulling over an early scan. Can't decide if it's worth it or not.

ATP1000 · 16/02/2018 22:35

@twobambinos that’s a great way to think about us being into a new month!

Welcome to the newbies too. Jumping on the bus! We’re all off on a journey now aren’t we! Likely to be getting travel sick soon if we’re not feeling already 🙈

@BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy I’m going to have an early scan, I’m just waiting for a week to book it as I’m thinking it would be nice to wait until at least week 7 to try to see the heartbeat. It feels so early to be thinking about it like that! Taking it day by day, but I really want to get more excited. Roll on 3 months! That seems like an eternity!

betsy2018 · 17/02/2018 08:18

Morning all, hope everyone is feeling ok? I have an early scan today.... not until 5.30 and I have to have a full bladder, this my sound like a stupid question but how much water will I need to drink and how long before to achieve a full bladder without me going to the loo all over the bed 😂

I'm sure someone else has an early scan today but can't remember who sorry.... good luck! X

tappitytaptap · 17/02/2018 09:34

Hope it goes well @betsy2018. I have one booked in a couple of weeks time, and if all OK then we'll tell the parents. I have tonsillitis, morning sickness and moving back to our house this weekend so lots of packing. I can't wait for the nausea to subside already and I am only 6 weeks tomorrow! Seem to recall it had mostly worn off by 12 week scan last time.

EffRam · 17/02/2018 09:40

Another day, another test to add to the collection Grin darker again this morning so that's making me feel better.

Really crampy and had pulling sensation around pelvis and ovaries for last twelve hours. Hope it's the embryo burrowing in nicely!
