I’m not on Facebook so sorry I can’t join the group... think I’m the only 25 year old in the world that had never used Facebook haha! The only time I don’t feel sick at the minute is when I’m eating something... I’m with you bearhuggy for the forth meal of the day Blush Glad some people are still sticking around here xx

rachkmp · 14/02/2018 16:12

Thank you @ladydolly & @bearhuggy - citrus definitely helps me too! It's basically a cycle of drinking and peeing atm Blush

Ah thank you both @bearhuggy and @ladydolly. I don't know why I got it in my head that I needed to self-refer! I'm also in London and just rang my GP to check, I've managed to get an appointment for Saturday Smile. Had a couple of funny cramp pains just now so really hoping all is OK Hmm
Good work on the eating for two! I definitely noticed a difference in appetite in lead up to bfp.
@ladydolly is that a private scan that you've organised? I'm pretty anxious so thinking I might try and book one in for around 8 weeks.

tappitytaptap · 14/02/2018 16:26

Yay for staying here! Congrats @Milknosugar1. I find constant eating helps the nausea.... can you guess that I put quite a bit of weight on in my last pregnancy 😂.

tappitytaptap · 14/02/2018 16:28

Am also going to try and get early scan for 8 weeks. Didn't have one before but we'd like a bit of reassurance before telling our parents Blush.

bearhuggy · 14/02/2018 16:33

Congrats to you @Milknosugar1, what a journey you have been on, sending you lots of positive vibes! StarStarStar

@MamaL86, no worries at all, glad you're all booked in ! Crampy pains are very normal for me, they come and go so unless they are debilitating then I wouldn't worry too much. We go to the birth company for scans and they have always been really amazing so I definitely recommend if you are London based -

This time it's nhs because I had a missed miscarriage last time but I went private for an early scan with my daughter and my mc preg. I believe groupon have offers for £40 but there aren't any near me so mine was 80. Totally worth it!!

Hi ladies I have been Mia for a few days. Trying to catch up on the posts.
Welcome to all the new joiners. Nice to see someone else going for no 3 too.
I have a scan next week. I'm anxious which is the main reason for the scan.
I have been getting a bit of nausea but mostly happens when I go too long between eating. And a bit of sickness but no where near as much as last time.

Has anyone had twins confirmed yet?? No twins in my family so I'm OK but see alot of Talk about it in the last few pages.

I'm not on Facebook either so will be sticking around here.

cookiesaurus · 14/02/2018 18:09

Hi all, like @MamaL86, I too am tentatively moving over from the TTC boards. I got my BFP yesterday and going to tell DH this evening over dinner. Although, he has a job interview tomorrow 😬😬 should I wait until tomorrow night??

I'm in SW London /Surrey and called the GP this am and they directed me to the hospital self referral form - I've filled that in and submitted so now just waiting!

I have few symptoms as of yet 😬😬. I haven't shared our news with anyone yet although I bumped into a former colleague with a shopping bag full of confirmation FRERs!! 🙈🙈🙈

Due date approx: 26/10 #1

brianodriscoll · 14/02/2018 18:34

Ooh thanks @bearhuggy for the tip on citrus - I can't face water at the moment and am worried my teeth will fall out the amount of squash I am drinking!

My booking in apt isn't for another 3 weeks. I'm not sure I'll believe it's real until then despite many tests, no AF and nausea and extreme tiredness...!

I keep wanting to retest when the nausea has gone in case the pregnancy has disappeared.

I promise I'm a sane, normal person capable of rational thought in the rest of my life.

Penny31 · 14/02/2018 19:23

I am 5 weeks tomorrow. I haven’t made a booking in app yet. I might call them tomorrow. I literally have no symptoms what so ever today and I’m really worried that something might have done wrong.

It’s too early for an early scan so I don’t really know what I can do :(

betsy2018 · 14/02/2018 19:33

@Penny31 try not to worry, I know easier said than done and I should also listen to my own advice. But symptoms come and go as people have said to me before Thanks

MamaL86 · 14/02/2018 19:55

Ooh thank you @ bearhuggy - will definitely look into that one. Annoyingly there's one right down the road but they only do weekday appointments and not sure it'd be feasible around work so your suggestion might be great. Just need to figure out what to do with Dc1 while we get the scan done - bit tricky to call in babysitting favours without explaining what it's for Grin
Massive congratulations @cookiesaurus! Did you decide to tell DH this evening? I'm impressed you held out this long tbh! My poor DH got a WhatsApp on his commute to work - apparently the guy next to him read his message and smiled at him when he got off the train!
@penny31 I know it's easier said than done (and slightly hypocritical as I'm doing exactly the same!) but try not to worry. A good friend is about to give birth and had very few symptoms in the first trimester at all - you might just be lucky.

ATP1000 · 14/02/2018 20:26

Thanks for the birth company recommendation @bearhuggy I’ll be booking that for 7 weeks, currently only 4 but I’m a twin and 36 years old so there could be one or two in there! 🙈
I’m happy to be staying on here, not quite ready for Facebook.

I had pain above my pubic bone and groin area yesterday but it’s pretty much gone today. Getting very occasional twinges now and everything feels heavy. It’s so good being able to share all of this with you all and to see that other people are having the same or similar things.

CD28 today, af would be due tomorrow, nothing yet and my temperature increased this morning so I’m keeping everything crossed and trying not to think about it! I can’t wait for the weekend so that I’m well into week 4 and passed af date!

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 14/02/2018 20:52

Glad to here still no AF @ATP1000 ! Same here. I'm slowly starting to let myself believe she's not coming but it's so scary. Still checking every time I go to the toilet.

Is it silly to keep testing after a dark BFP? I have a FRER and a CB digital left and I'm desperate to pee on them to check hcg increasing but maybe I'll just drive myself mad if I keep testing?

ATP1000 · 14/02/2018 22:19

Hi @BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy great news of no af for you! I’m a serial tester, didn’t know it but turns out I am! It’s my first pregnancy, got a good progression of FRERs. Today’s came out as dark as the control line so probably not much point me continuing.
The next POAS for me will be clearblue sometime next week to hopefully see 2-3 weeks instead of 1-2.
I have the Ava bracelet so am getting a temperature reading every morning, don’t know if that’s a good thing though as whilst I’m happy to see it going higher, I’m not sure how I’d feel about a dip so I’ll probably stop that soon too. Just waiting to get a full cycle plus a few days.

Purplelooby · 14/02/2018 23:11

For nausea I've found fizzy water worked well for me. It was one of the only things I could stomach first time around.

I hear you all about panicking that each toilet break will bring AF. I had an early pregnancy loss between DC 1 and 2 so I'm a little paranoid.

@twobambinos I'm a bit paranoid about twins this time. My symptoms are miles worse than in any of my previous PGs and I know I ovulated twice this month (I strongly suspect 3 times!). And I'm only 2 months off 38... I've already got 2 kids so twins would be a nightmare!

MamaL86 · 15/02/2018 07:36

Hi @milknosugar. I'm afraid I don't have any experience with those but I'd have thought any line is a good line. Are you able to get your hands on another test? I was abroad with my first pregnancy and found even the cheap ones effective. Best of luck Flowers

MamaL86 · 15/02/2018 07:37

Anyone got very few symptoms? I'm feeling a little paranoid though it's only 4 weeks so very early days.
Also, those of you who were temping while ttc - have you continued? My temp dropped slightly this morning so I'm now trying not to panic Confused

justtowarm · 15/02/2018 07:41

@Milknosugar1 I used those sort of test and they were really faint like that and took a while to get dark, I would wait until you are home and then test with a clear blue digital for peace of mind :)
