Thought I would start a new thread as we have filled another!

How is everyone feeling?
I’ve got the cold so feeling a bit sorry for myself at the moment

19+4 today and have to wait until 21 weeks to see my little bun again! Jealous of all those who have had there scans already

I was induced on Friday and it went like a dream. Cervix was completely closed and unfavourable beforehand. Had gel at 9am, contractions started at 1pm, baby boy born in the pool at 4.30pm. I had the birth centre water birth I always wanted. Feel so lucky after being so worried about the induction! He was big - 8lb 10!

@Harriet that's brilliant, congratulations! Nice to hear a straightforward induction story.

Congrats all! Any ideas for how to start labour, don't want to be induced and getting really impatient now. Sex is out of the question as I've got thrush. Again. I had a sweep last week, didn't work. Mucus plug has gone over a week ago ( I think). I try to keep active but nothing seems to be working.

Hi all, not been around for a while because I was readmitted to hospital for an emergency operation. Finally discharged yesterday. Baby is 15 days old now, he's huge. I can't believe how quickly we got to 2 weeks old! My recovery had to restart following this week's operation so another 6 weeks of no driving etc but I feel so much better and my milk is finally flowing properly. We still can't latch but I've got a double pump so am expressing well and topping up with formula when required. Baby has reflux which is making it impossible to get him to sleep on his back. He won't go down in his basket at all so nights are very difficult because he wants to sleep on my chest all night. I've ordered a white noise bear to see if that helps.

                                                                 On another note, I was wondering if Kate Middleton is on this thread as she was due April. Has anyone seen the pictures of her? I think she must have had the baby delivered by stork, she does not look like someone who has just given birth! I still look terrible over 2 weeks after birth (maybe that's just me tho!). She looks incredible

@aubergine I've booked reflexology on Saturday to see if that helps! Otherwise am just waddling everywhere. 40+3 now and SO impatient - have induction booked for 12 days over and hoping I won't need it, although Harriet's story is making me feel a lot more optimistic about the prospect!

@rose sorry to hear you had to have another op but glad you're feeling better. Hope the white noise bear does the trick - I have the sheep version!

Things are pretty good here. Had a really rough start, but bubs is doing really well now. He's a dream baby!

Ohhhh my goodness @TrigsToo he is just delicious!! Looks like one happy baby you've got there 😍

We've got on really well, little man is growing too quickly, giggling, grabbing everything in sight and even started trying food. This little boy has completely stolen my heart ❤️

This little girl is nearly five months old which is ridiculous!
She's such a good baby and so gorgeous. We're not having any more and I just want the baby stage to last forever!
