Got my bfp 2 hours ago
Still can't sleep lol

Got it a week early af was due 30th

Anyone else??

Alsooooo been feeling very sick and now have lots of heart burn

I'll be 27 when this one is here, a bit change from my first. I was only 17 when I had DD.

Hi @milney25 I'll be 8 weeks tomorrow too. I think it's normal for nausea to come and go, it is for me anyway.

Im a "geriatric" as well. I turn 41 in a coupla wks. Had my 1st at 38. Just had my epau scan this morning. Gestation sac and yolk sac all in right place. Bit too early to see fetal pole but given my late ovulation i think thats prob in keeping with me being only 5.5wks ish. I have a hemorrhagic cyst on my left ovary which is prob why ivr had a bit of discomfort that side. Nxt scan 2nd Jan (altho im working boxing day so tempted to fill my bladder rite up and have a look to see if i can see anything more a week on!)

@BertieBotts I’m in a similar position, this will be my 4th pregnancy but I only have 1 child. Hopefully we will both have a much healthier pregnancy this time round - fingers all firmly crossed. It makes me really anxious as I just don’t trust my body to be able to grow a baby!

@LadesC congrats on your scan! Hope the next one goes smoothly!

I have an early scan on Friday morning and am getting quite nervous! If all goes well and there’s a HB then I’ll tell my mum!

We went for an early scan today and it's made me more worried that anything. Meant to be 6+3 but they said the sac looks more like 5 and couldn't see any yolk etc. Had bloods today and got to go back on Friday again for another set of bloods to track hormone levels and then get an outcome on Saturday. Had made me way more anxious as I had a previous miscarriage but no bleeding and only found out at 12wk scan it wasn't viable. It's so tough but trying to stay positive as it was a complete negative but not confidence inspiring.

@MrsS1984 sorry that the scan didn’t show what you hoped! How certain are you on dates? A few days can make a big difference to scans at this point and all babies develop at slightly different rates. Have my fingers crossed that your blood tests go okay! Flowers

Thanks @babydreaming. I've had a few friends reassure me about how unreliable ealey scans can be and although I was quite sure of dates there's always the very likely possibility I'm wrong! Just got to sit back, try and chill out and let mother nature do her thing!

I had my 2nd lot of bloods today but nobody seems to wana tell me the levels of the first one. I might not find out if ive miscarried til next week.

Honey, it will be because you'll drive yourself mental googling the levels of the first one and it doesn't mean anything in isolation. You can only tell how a pregnancy is going by seeing the two results in comparison.

Hopefully you'll get figures back for that by the end of the week though?

Sorry to see that some of you are dealing with uncertainty. It’s very hard.

My head cold has finally lifted. But I am so knackered. I’ve basically done no work for a week, I’m so wiped out. My 2 year old is also driving me insane. She’s never been a good sleeper, but she’s been so bad the last few weeks. Sometimes I wonder what the hell are we thinking. But surely we wouldn’t be so unlucky as to get two bad sleepers? Gah.

@E2017 I will be 30 before due date if all goes well! Do you have plans for what to do on 30th to celebrate. I'm half torn between not making a big deal and doing something special as I'm only 30 once! Lol

Hey everyone! Went for my early scan today! Saw the heart beating was awesome. I thought I was 6+6 but I'm actually 6+1 so not far out! Now I feel I can chill more between now and the 12 week scan :). Anyone else had their scans today?

Evening all,

Not much to report here. 5+5 and still 10 days until our scan appointment. Still feeling pretty anxious. Symptoms still very manageable but I’ve been in bed before 9 every eve. Looking forward to breaking up tomorrow for two weeks!

Thinking of those facing uncertainty. The wait is horrible.

I’m in the UK and will be almost 33 when my edd arrives.

Should we start some sort of list? Something like this?

Had a massive headache all day and builders smashing and banging around the house. Missing my migraine medication already! Last day in the office tomorrow before the Christmas break, cannot wait! It's our DC's first Christmas so am so looking forward to it.

@Subo2018 I had a scan today too - saw and heard a heartbeat. Felt so relieved. Dated at 7+5.

I am happy to do the list but think miscarriage stats should be an optional extra at the end as I'd personally rather focus on this pregnancy rather than previous losses (I know everyone is different!) Maybe add age if people want?
