Got my bfp 2 hours ago
Still can't sleep lol

Got it a week early af was due 30th

Anyone else??

Alsooooo been feeling very sick and now have lots of heart burn

Hi! Mind if I join? I got my (v faint but there) BFP last Tuesday at 11dpo. Getting darker now I am 16dpo but still not anywhere near as dark as the control line...so I'm pretty sure I ov'd late. I'm not 100% sure on my dates but if I go by FF, then I should be due late August 😊

I'm 29 and this is baby #2. I have a DD who is 2.5 yo.

Congrats to everyone on here and may we all have a healthy 9 months!

Hi ladies! I got a BFP earlier this week and expecting my first. So far I've just had cramps like my period was due but it never came. Only felt nauseous once so far so hoping I'll avoid it but I'm sure the morning sickness will arrive soon enough!! Managed to get through the Christmas parties so far with the excuse that I've overdone it already and I'm detoxing. Wondering if I'll manage to hide it for the 5 days I'll be at my parents' !! Due 21st August.

Anyone had brown spotting? Yesterday I had it on and off, not a lot at all, but also had the slightest pink tinge to it at some points. Is that normal early on? It has stopped today.

I rang the out of hours docs but they said they can't do anything til I'm at least 6 weeks. I'm only 4 weeks so they said they wouldn't be able to see anything. Reassured though that brown is old blood and could just be left over implantation blood making its way out. Fx

@nk1605 I think spotting in early pregnancy is very normal! I think lots of women get it...try not to stress. If it turns into period like bleeding and cramps that’s more concerning but a bit of spotting could just be the embryo burying into your womb!

Thanks for the reassurance @Babydreaming. With my first I didn't get any spotting or bleeding so it freaked me out a little. I've been getting cramps too so hopefully it is just little bean snuggling in deep!

And when I say cramps, they are very mild. Nothing that would make me think something is very wrong. More just a dull ache every now and again.i wonder do you feel things sooner if you've already had a child? I think I remember someone saying that one. Then again, every pregnancy is different!

@nk1605 I've had slight period cramps on and off from before I tested had it on and off and I will be 6weeks tomorrow

Cramps here too. And lower back pain which is making me anxious and visit the toilet far too many times. Have been wrapping lots on the floor so I could have pulled something.. hard not to think the worst when you’ve had a previous mc!

I've had some lower back pain too and it radiates across my hips @Whichoneisit - I mentioned it yesterday at my appointment and was told it's fairly normal but just keep an eye on it x

Bit of advice if possible ladies - I don't know if any of you have faced a similar situation.

Exactly one year ago today, my awesome sister lost her baby. She was 9 weeks pregnant. It was heartbreaking and I know she still feels it. She has tried again since but I think she will over time.

I was just wondering if anyone has had to tell a sibling or friend in a similar situation about their pregnancy. I accept that she will probably be upset and I don't want to make the situation worse.

My plan is to tell her face to face and alone and then let her process it.

As always, any advice well received x
