@mamabearxoxo if you’re really in a lot of pain maybe you shouldn’t consider going to a&e? Ectopics are seen as medical emergencies as if they rupture they can be dangerous! Don’t want to frighten you but if the pain is really bad I would push to be seen sooner!

mamabearxoxo · 11/12/2017 09:11

I've contacted my local EPU, waiting on a call back. A&E won't do anything as it's within GP hours

TinoTheArtisticMouse · 11/12/2017 11:34

Hope you're both ok aj and mama x

heidihii · 11/12/2017 11:55

Hi all. Got my bfp last week. I'm about 5 weeks, due date is 13th Aug. Had a doctors appointment this morning to get the ball rolling. Still doesn't feel quite real yet! No symptoms except from incredibly tender boobs and mild cramps. It's my first pregnancy so have no clue what to expect!

mamabearxoxo · 11/12/2017 12:59

Epu weren't concerned at all and the discharge has stopped. Another set of bloods tomorrow though but all looks good

Sparklesdontshine · 11/12/2017 13:15

That's great news!!

Subo2018 · 11/12/2017 13:27

@mamabearxoxo that's such great news.

Babydreaming · 11/12/2017 13:47

@mamabearxoxo that’s fantastic news! Did they scan you?

Gizzymum · 11/12/2017 14:00

@mamabearxoxo That's such good news! I'm guessing the pain is a uti then as they're really common during pregnancy. Hope you're feeling better soon. Xx

SmashyCup · 11/12/2017 14:08

That's fantastic news @mamabearxoxo ! What a relief.

TinoTheArtisticMouse · 11/12/2017 14:09

Phew, glad you and the little one are ok *mama

mamabearxoxo · 11/12/2017 14:26

Thank you all! No scan as they said it's just a tad too early, my bloods are over a thousand whixh is also a good sign but they would like them to be a bit higher before trying to scan.
So have to have bloods done again on Wednesday. I would prefer not to have a v early scan though as it'll just worry me further if nothing is seen, although that's so common I know x

GerardNoWay · 11/12/2017 14:27

Great news @mamabearxoxo

Babydreaming · 11/12/2017 15:12

@mamabearxoxo hopefully you can relax a little now! How many weeks are you? I still can’t decide whether to go for a scan at 6.5w before Christmas or just to leave things til after...you’re right that an early scan can just cause extra anxiety!

bobcat85 · 11/12/2017 15:33

Hi all, tentatively checking in. I got two positives today, rough due date of the 19th August.
I already have a son who is 12 months.

TinoTheArtisticMouse · 11/12/2017 15:35

Just wondering if anyone else is still breastfeeding?

Hana327 · 11/12/2017 15:44

Congratulations @mamabear glad all ok at the moment best thing getting checked out. Your doing all you can
Snap...@heidihii you have the same EDD, I went for a Drs appointment today to and it's my first as well!

StrawberryLemonade · 11/12/2017 16:04

Hi and welcome everyone :)
mamabear glad they aren't worried and bloods look good! What a relief for you. Fingers crossed for repeat bloods.

I'm trying to get everything ready for Christmas incase I feel too nauseous nearer the time but I'm so tired it's hard to get motivated!

Babydreaming · 11/12/2017 17:39

@bobcat82 I have a 12 month old too...he’s just learnt to sleep through the night so it’s good timing haha!

I haven’t told my GP yet...should probably get on that but I’m moving house in early Jan so don’t see there’s any point? I think I’ll just let them know when I register at new place. I’ll be about 10 weeks...do you think that’s okay?

MamOfFrankie · 11/12/2017 17:39

Got my BFP on Tuesday, and EDD is sometime between 12.09 and 14.08, depending on which calculator I use. Have a LG, who is 6, who took away the question of when to tell the family by dropping the bombshell out of the blue! We hadn't even told her, she was eavesdropping outside the door when I told her dad haha.

How is everyone?

birdy1978 · 11/12/2017 18:34

Tino I’m not breastfeeding any more (stopped six months ago when he was 23m) but still cosleeping and wondering how that’s going to work... Husband in the spare room I think!

Sugarskulllover · 11/12/2017 18:48

Got myself into a right panic Sad
Was casually going through the active boards earlier and saw a post about Zika virus.

Me and DH went on our honeymoon to Mexico in July. Neither of us had any symptoms for zika so we started trying in Oct/nov when I came off my BC.

Reading today we really should have waited till January. I'm going to speak to the midwife when I see her on the 19th but feeling so incredibly stupid right now SadSadSad

TinoTheArtisticMouse · 11/12/2017 19:23

birdy My dd is 2y4m and no end in sight. I want it to be on her terms but obviously being pregnant might force the issue. She isn't cosleeping but does often end up with us at some point in the night.

Sparklesdontshine · 11/12/2017 19:43

My 2 year old also ends up in our bed each night, it's either that or she wakes the 4 year old up!

StrawberryLemonade · 11/12/2017 19:45

sugar the risk is very low so try not to worry. I know it's hard. I think it would only be an issue if your DH had been infected but assume he was ok? I hope the midwife can reassure you.
I left my details at the surgery for midwife to contact me but that was over a week ago and no word. I think I'll leave it until after Christmas then call if I haven't heard anything.
