I thought I’d start this thread now as I can’t see one yet! I got my bfp this weekend on a digital and estimate my due date to be 1st of July, but I have long cycles so I’m anticipating it changing at a dating scan. Anyone else with me for end of June or beginning of July 2018?

Congratulations @CherryVicky29 and welcome!
How's everyone doing this evening?

I got my mw appointment today, it's for the 2nd of Dec, ahhh seems so far away!

I've got fatigue, nausea and having issues sleeping, still expecting to see blood every time I go to the loo, but thankfully the cramping has passed.. for now!

CherryVicky29 · 31/10/2017 17:25

Thanks ladies 🙂

@noimagination80I know that my appointment is 4th December! Although I am only early days I have had tender breasts since Friday to point I wince at smallest contact, I am also already very fatigue (falling asleep at work not ideal)

KateB2016 · 31/10/2017 17:36

@hulabaloo so sorry to hear about your mmc, I had one a couple of years back and it was awful, you're not being irrational at all! Me and DH were a bit worried about getting too excited but then we decided it'd be better to get excited and if anything happened, deal with it, than not enjoy the next 12 weeks and then it turns out everything is fine anyway! :) xx

Hulaballoo · 31/10/2017 20:00

Thanks @KateB2016 I keep telling myself that and I'm trying hard to think positive. Just find it hard symptom spotting all the time 🙁 went out with the kids truck or treating... Had a cupcake and about 6 sweets and feel super guilty now... Hoping that it's not too much sugar.

Lilychouchou · 31/10/2017 20:03

Welcome cherry!

hulla, you can't jinx anything - it just doesn't work like that. I know how you feel though, I'm too scared to book in with my doctor too Confused might give it til next week.

Talk me down ladies - the brown discharge (had no more YET) worried me so much I bought another CB weeks indicator test. Desperate to take it and see if it's gone to 3+ weeks. I know how inaccurate they are but I'm just panicking

noimagination80 · 31/10/2017 20:24

@Lilychouchou, step away from the test. Doing the test will make no difference.

lgh05 · 31/10/2017 20:27

Oh @Lilychouchou I would probably do the same! Even though it’s totally normal to have small amount to of bloody discharge! As the baby expands and grows it disturbs your uterine lining (all your blood where we get our periods from) so it’s probably just disturbed the lining as it’s old blood being brown that’s pretty much a certainty that’s where it’s come from. I think in these situation there is a no right way to react. I think do what ever you can to settle your mind and if that’s taking a CB and seeing that 3+ then do it. If it’s still going to make you stress regardless don’t bother. Lots of love!

rhubarb86 · 31/10/2017 20:40

Hope everyone is doing ok. I'm feeling really well at 5+4; hope this is not a bad sign! Saw GP tonight who took my BP, got me to sign the form for free prescriptions etc and asked me to call the midwifery team. Called them and a nice lady answered at 17:40 and said someone would be in touch soon with a booking appointment. She asked me to choose which hospital I wish to go to for scans etc so got to seriously think about that now as we live right on the county border.

rhubarb86 · 31/10/2017 20:46

P.s congrats to @CherryVicky29 and @lilychouchou

Hulaballoo · 31/10/2017 21:02

Thanks @Lilychouchou , I need to start thinking that way. I need a leaf out of your book @Becparks ... My DC are 7,9 and I'd love to tell them but worried it'll spread at school and they all know where I work 😐 I just want to try and enjoy it all now.

Hulaballoo · 31/10/2017 21:03

Did anyone else find out when they were 3w+1? Getting to 5w is taking aaaaaages.

Unicornberry · 31/10/2017 21:36

Can I join? I'm 4 weeks exactly, due 10th July assuming it sticks!

Lilychouchou · 01/11/2017 07:02

Thanks everyone for your support. Did the test at 5.30am and still says 2-3 weeks. At least it hasn't gone backwards I suppose Grin

December seems so far away imagination but it'll come round quick - think how quickly Christmas comes around every year!

Lilychouchou · 01/11/2017 07:03

Ooh didnt see last messages. Congratulations unicorn and thanks rhubarb Smile

Lilychouchou · 01/11/2017 07:04

I'm still having the cramping/dull ache on and off, and boobs still sore. Nothing else yet...

Enwi · 01/11/2017 07:55

I found out at 3+6 and it still feels like FOREVER. I’m now 6+1 and time is going no faster!

Winterfellismyhome · 01/11/2017 08:06

Im 5 weeks today and was hoping for 3+ on my cb digital but it still says 2-3 Confused

Lilychouchou · 01/11/2017 08:39

winter, I was really hoping for 3+ too but I know they're notoriously inaccurate and have a huge range for each stage so I don't think it means much if it hasn't changed!

I'm not really sure how far along I am - usually my periods are like clockwork but for some reason last month it was very early. Only had unprotected sex once and that was on the 7th. Based on my LMP I should be 6 weeks on Friday but could be much less. I'm only having the scan on sat because we need to make a decision about this adventure holiday ASAP - definitely can't go if pregnant so just hoping we'll get some sort of reassurance on Saturday that justifies cancelling it Confused

KateB2016 · 01/11/2017 08:49

@hulabaloo I found out at 3+2 and yeah, longest two weeks of my life! I think I'll feel better once I get my booking appt in the post but it's still not come through yet, I know some of you ladies already have yours.

KateB2016 · 01/11/2017 08:51

Congratulations @unicornberry :) cute name btw. Is this your first? X

Unicornberry · 01/11/2017 08:57

@kateB it's my second Smile

Enwi · 01/11/2017 09:05

Everyone’s HCG levels are totally different, so it would be impossible for them to be totally accurate x

Becparks · 01/11/2017 09:10

I’ve just ordered two more cb digis after 2-3 again yesterday! Silly I know but can’t help it. It’s gonna be nerve wrecking testing again! Should be around 6 weeks Friday to Monday so by the weekend surely hormones will register as up?

Re booking in appt, I wnet to the doc and she said expect a letter for around 10 weeks so I’m just gonna wait it out! Luckily we are off to Luxembourg next weekend and have a few things planned in between so I am tryjng to focus on them and Work and let things happen as they are meant to...Which is hopefully a healthy happy baby in July!!!!
Doctor did say, despite my age, the fact o have had two healthy births since miscarriage 20 years ago (!) and the fact I am super emotional and conceived quickly are all good indications.

I thought about pushing for an early scan but thing is, you can have one at 6 weeks and see t all fine but then it is still so early to be able to relax.

It just goes so slow doesn’t it!!!

HarryPotterandtheSAHM · 01/11/2017 09:10

I’ve heard 1-2 and 2-3 are accurate on the CBs but 3+ is often harder to get until much later on! I stopped when I got 2-3 because my POAS addiction costs me so much money. 5+5 today and counting down to my Mw appt on the 13th and my scan on the 20th
