I thought I’d start this thread now as I can’t see one yet! I got my bfp this weekend on a digital and estimate my due date to be 1st of July, but I have long cycles so I’m anticipating it changing at a dating scan. Anyone else with me for end of June or beginning of July 2018?

P.s. welcome to newbies and good luck to all of you. I keep checking in so keep us posted :)

Winterfellismyhome · 01/11/2017 09:22

Thanks all. That's reassuring. I have a GP appointment tomorrow to get the ball rolling. Also need some advice from him RE Disney World and which rides are safe Wink

Lilychouchou · 01/11/2017 10:13

Logan your user name Harry! Very jealous of Disney winter.

Can we talk about discharge? I just had rather a lot that was sort of a weird fluorescent green-yellow colour! Anyone else?! Hmm

Lilychouchou · 01/11/2017 10:14

God can't believe I just said "can we talk about discharge". I'm not usually this weird!

Unicornberry · 01/11/2017 10:25

@lilychouchou I definitely had that with DC1, I remember googling to see if it's normal!

HarryPotterandtheSAHM · 01/11/2017 10:32

Yes lots of snotty yellow here! Mucus plug forming apparently.

Interesting, thanks ladies! Just relieved it wasn't brown or red tbh...

Harry, meant I loved your username, not Logan Blush

Unicornberry · 01/11/2017 10:35

With DC1 I had bleeding at 4/8/12/16 weeks so I'm hoping I don't get that this time. It was like a light period!

Lilychouchou · 01/11/2017 10:38

Gosh that's so scary Unicorn, you must have nerves of steel! At least if it does happen again this time you'll know it might just be normal for you and nothing to worry about.

Bluebirdsky · 01/11/2017 11:11

Morning everyone, I have been referred to the early pregnancy unit due to left sided pain, waiting for them to call me with an appointment.

Really hoping that everything is ok and it's not ectopic Confused

KateB2016 · 01/11/2017 11:26

@Blueskybird fingers crossed for you! Xx

Dhobighat · 01/11/2017 12:26

Hello! Can I join? I think I've cocked up my EDD so I think I'm due early July, not end of June like I thought. Ah well, when it comes it comes! So I think I'm 5+3 today.

Hope everyone's OK! Still hasn't sunk in yet for me...

Peanutty86 · 01/11/2017 13:49

Oh @Bluebirdsky hope everything is going to be ok.

Appointment with the midwife - are you taking your partner? I wasn’t planning to, just wondering if that’s a thing or not?

lgh05 · 01/11/2017 13:59

Sending lots of love @Bluebirdsky

lgh05 · 01/11/2017 14:00

Welcome @Dhobighat :-)

Dhobighat · 01/11/2017 14:19

@Peanutty I didn't last time, but some people like to, I think it's up to you. There's family history of illnesses on his side which can be helpful but you can always ask before/after.

@Bluebird - fingers crossed for you

@igh05 hello!

CherryVicky29 · 01/11/2017 14:20

@Peanutty86 I’m taking mine but that’s only cause Dp literally wants to be involved with everything 🙂

KateB2016 · 01/11/2017 14:25

@CherryVicky my DH is the same! He went mad at me the other day because I got those free packs from Boots without telling him, even though I waited until I got home to open them with him! Grin

Unicornberry · 01/11/2017 14:26

I hope everything is okay @bluebirdsky

@peanutty they ask for medical history on both sides so if you don't know DHs family medical history it might be useful to take him. I'm having a home birth so I'll just book the midwife at home for DHs days off so he's here.

Peanutty86 · 01/11/2017 14:29

@KateB2016 what free packs from boots? Sounds good!

I’ve not even really talked about it with him. Not sure if he would want to come, obviously he’d be welcome to. The receptionist said it’s a 1 hour appointment and to be honest I’m not even sure how this hour is going to be filled. Might be good to take him thinking about it, he might have some questions he’d want to ask. On the other hand, my sister is a midwife so he can always ask her.... Oh we‘ll see...

CherryVicky29 · 01/11/2017 14:29

@Bluebirdsky hope everything is okay

@KateB2016 oh god I can imagine this is what my Dp is going to be like 😂 can’t complain though cause it’s nice to see him so excited

Lilychouchou · 01/11/2017 15:13

Sending lots of love Bluebird xxx

I'm still getting cramping on and off. Hope it's not a bad sign Sad

Hulaballoo · 01/11/2017 15:25

Hello ladies and welcome new bfp'ers 😁hope it's all going ok @Bluebirdsky

Well I've booked my mw appointment...13th Nov. I'll be about 6w... I think --still unsure of my dates really. Not sure how I got a bfp so early and yet I'm only just 4+3 😳 and most of you are 5w+. longest 12 weeks ever lol. I said I was about 4-5 weeks and receptionist wanted to book me in for when I was 8w+ but as I had a mmc last time I pushed for earlier.
Feeling quite bloated today, sore boobs when nudged... Appetite weird, don't fancy anything in particular but still want something to eat. I had thick gloopy bright green discharge at 8dpo , now I've got a fair bit of creamy/watery ish white discharge..Nice..Confused getting tired when I stop doing stuff, then I feel knackered but at work when I'm teaching and I have to keep going I'm not thinking about it too much. Booking a private scan I think for 7/8 weeks.... 😁

Hulaballoo · 01/11/2017 15:26

@Lilychouchou I think cramping on and off is absolutely normal, as long as it doesn't get worse and there's no bleeding, think it's normal xx

Unicornberry · 01/11/2017 15:29

@hulaballoo I'm only 4+1 so we're close in dates. Is this your first baby?

I've got as far as texting my midwife but I'm not going to have an appointment until about 8 weeks I think. I'm 12 weeks on Boxing Day so might book my dating scan for before xmas!
