I thought I’d start this thread now as I can’t see one yet! I got my bfp this weekend on a digital and estimate my due date to be 1st of July, but I have long cycles so I’m anticipating it changing at a dating scan. Anyone else with me for end of June or beginning of July 2018?

@18mnthsandcounting there’s a place called baby vision, based in Wolverhampton or Shrewsbury, not sure if this is a bit out the way for you, this this is around £50 mark too? X

18mnthsandcounting · 11/11/2017 10:49

Just booked in there thank you! X

JoJoshua1 · 11/11/2017 17:04

Had my BFP this morning. Just wanted to join and say a big happy congratulations to us all 😊🎉🎈

Hulaballoo · 11/11/2017 20:43

Omg all these Christmas adverts... I'm blubbering away at a Boots advert!

Mrsbaker84 · 11/11/2017 21:02

Hi everyone just found out on weds I am pregnant after 1 year 4 months trying I estimate I'm around 4 weeks! Anyone Else getting 'period pains' I went to my dr and he said perfectly normal but I can't help but worry!!!

Hulaballoo · 11/11/2017 21:19

Congratulations @Mrsbaker84 😁 period pains are normal. I find a warm water bottle helps. As long as there's no blood, your body is changing and stretching xx

Mrsbaker84 · 11/11/2017 21:33

Thank you @hulaballoo! And congrats to you too!!!! I can't believe I'm pregnant I found out in a&e as pains where really bad! No one seems to be worried about them so hopefully I get my booking in appointment soon! According to my dates I'm due 21st July which is my wedding date so looks like we need to rearrange that too!!!!!

Sandy85 · 12/11/2017 02:51

Hi everyone! Just got a BFP this morning, my due date is Jul 13th. Hope everyone is feeling fine! Smile

Lilychouchou · 12/11/2017 05:56

Morning ladies. You might remember last Saturday I got a scan that showed I was around 5 weeks and could see a gestational sac and a yolk sac.

I was meant to go back this week but they called yesterday to say they needed to cancel that appointment - and would I like to come in this Saturday instead! So I did. I have a tiny little baby with a heartbeat! So thrilled.

Congratulations to all the new BFPs! MrsBaker I had moderate cramps every day for two weeks. Still get it on and off. Think/hope it's totally normal, just a big release of hormones!

Boboelephant · 12/11/2017 07:10

@Lilychouchou congratulations!!!! You must be thrilled!
Congratulations to all the new bfp'ers.
@Mrsbaker84 I seem to get all sorts of weird cramps and twinges too. Your body has to go through lots of changes 😀

lgh05 · 12/11/2017 07:42

Congratulations @Lilychouchou xx

BlueeSpottyTiger · 12/11/2017 09:13

lily that's great news :) xx

Anyone else suffer with HG?
I get it from around 5.5 /6 weeks and with dd had it until a month before she was born..Urgh!
And last pregnancy i had it until the day before i had the mc.
You only have a 14% chance of not developing it in subsequent pregnancies so i know its inevitable i will get it. That gives me about a week or 2 before it will likely start and I'm dreading it!!

Lilychouchou · 12/11/2017 09:50

Thanks Bobo lgh and Tiger Smile I was so relieved yesterday but the reassurance doesn't last long - and now I've seen the HB I feel so much more connected to the baby, which makes fear of losing it so much worse!

Mrsbaker84 · 12/11/2017 10:12

Congrats @lilychouchou I cant wait to get a scan booked in! @boboelephant thanks I feel abit better now I no others are getting too!!

Bluebirdsky · 12/11/2017 10:56

Congratulations @Lilychouchou that's brilliant news Flowers

I have got my repeat scan on Tuesday, really hoping we see a heartbeat too.

Bluebirdsky · 12/11/2017 10:59

@BlueeSpottyTiger sorry to hear about your HG that sounds really rough and it must be a bit daunting just waiting for it to start.

I am 6 weeks at the moment and fortunately no HG just constant nausea with occasional vomiting, mostly kept at bay by eating regularly (even though it's the last thing I want to do!)

Will keep everything crossed that it's not as bad for you this time

lgh05 · 12/11/2017 14:17

@Lilychouchou how many weeks/days were you when you had the scan, my midwife is ringing up tomorrow to book me in il be 6 + 3

18mnthsandcounting · 12/11/2017 15:03

Congrats lily fab news! Got my first scan booked 2nd December seems a lifetime away!! No hg @bluespottytiger but nausea has been on and off since Wednesday and already going off certain foods? Wasn’t like this last time I was pg. so hoping it’s a good sign!

HarryPotterandtheSAHM · 12/11/2017 21:37

Blue I had it last time! This time I’m 7wks and have quite bad ms but by no means as bad as Hg, and I’m on tablets already which are keeping the vomiting down to a few times a day! HG is so rough and lonely, so fingers crossed it stays away for you. I am just grateful every day that I dont have it yet, still expecting it to start soon.

Also hello and congratulations to all the new BFPs!!!! X

Evening all. May I join?

Got my bfp yesterday. Am 5 weeks exactly according to lmp, 4w + 3 according to estimated ov date. Due date somewhere between 14th and 19th July.

Had a mmc in May at 12 weeks (embryo stopped developing between 5 and 6 weeks) so booking an early scan for reassurance around 8 weeks. Saw someone west mids based asking about scans further up the thread. I'm using Tummy2Mummy. They've got clinics in Coventry, Leamington and Hinkley.

cavatron · 12/11/2017 22:59

Ooh I've been on the Conception and Pregnancy boards the last few months, found the July 2018 board in Pregnancy and just read about this thread too! How exciting!

I'm 5 weeks tomorrow, feels like I've been pregnant forever 😂 how can I join the FB group please?!

cavatron · 12/11/2017 23:58

Have messaged Unicorn to join the FB group :) one of my mum friends from baby group with my DS had a group she's still in now and I've always been slightly jealous!

Boboelephant · 13/11/2017 06:39

Hi all, does anyone know a good place to get private scan around London? I think we want to get one around 9 weeks just to check all is ok as the gap between my 5 week scan last week and the 12 week just seems too long!!

NimbleKnitter · 13/11/2017 08:05

Gulp. Got three positives yesterday and two today.

Didn’t quite believe it until I saw the words.

Due 27 of July.

How long does it take for the shock to pass? And bit worried - nauseous already

BlueeSpottyTiger · 13/11/2017 08:32

Harrypotter glad you don't feel as bad this time..well yet anyway..eek! Meds do help but I'm not a person who tends to take tablets for anything ever, especially not when pregnant and breastfeeding. I was prescribed cyclizine with my first and promethazine last time but didn't really want to take them. With DD it was manageable with mainly sleeping and having plain foods..icepops ect. I would find that hard with a toddler now so if i get really bad i may consider tablets but will try for the option of just lying on the sofa all day and only getting up when DD needs to be fed or changed ect.. It's amazing how many games you can play lying down haha ...Goodluck! Xx

Hello new ladies! 🖑🖑 congratulations 💖 x
