Mine is on and off to be honest. I've not really had it that bad compared to some others, but the last couple of days Ive felt absolutely fine, which is worrying me, but I don't think i's anything to really stress about.

Bunnyears85 · 02/11/2017 12:02

@senza Please don’t worry. I had absolutely no symptoms at all when pregnant with DS1. Just enjoy! I have terrible nausea this time and it’s completely affecting all aspects of life. Enjoy a smooth and symptom free pregnancy.

Mine's been variable; last week I woke up feeling sick as a dog every morning which would slowly wear off until I just felt vaguely queasy the rest of the day until about 10pm when I would start feeling nauseous again. Since Sunday though, I've woken up feeling faintly queasy with a metallic taste in my mouth which settles a bit by 10am - enough to be able to face a cup of tea, though I can't handle coffee at all. Even the smell makes me want to throw up, and DH has had to give up coffee now so I don't have to smell his! It's around 8pm that I start feeling really nauseated though - if I try to eat anything after 8 then it just doesn't stay down. That's exactly how it was with DD1 and DD3, but I had no sickness at all with DD2 so it's really unpredictable - no two pregnancies are ever alike.

xxmissbrightsidexx · 02/11/2017 12:59

My sickness and nausea has been relentless since the very start of pregnancy, its what made me do a test or ten , im 8 +2 now and this morning i woke up hungry instead of sick, and actually was able to enjoy some chocolate weetabix which was a nice change x i feel a bit iffy but also feel a bit more human today Smile

Cookie1831 · 02/11/2017 13:06

Another variable here, slightly queasy feel better when eat then eat too much and feel queasy again damn it! Not actually vomited sort of want to as then I can definitely feel pregnant. Keep doing the random boob squeezes to make sure still tender Hmm could barely button up my trousers this morning am so bloated or maybe fat only 6 weeks so can't be baby more likely too much bread/cake/biscuitsx

ArkadyRose · 02/11/2017 13:12

@Cookie1831 at this stage the bloat will usually be water retention; it does settle once you get into the second trimester though. I'm at 6 weeks too, though look as though I'm much further along - a combination of bloat and having had 3 kids already; my stomach muscles aren't as tight as they used to be!

RockinRobinTweets · 02/11/2017 13:22

My nausea comes and goes. Tuesday was awful and working was a real struggle.
I’m really bloated too and look huge but I know that it’ll go away and then come back as an actual bump Grin

9 weeks today!!

Cookie1831 · 02/11/2017 14:17

Yeah arkady I have no core muscles either, this hopefully will be baby number 3 pregnancy number 6 and with my last baby I was getting congratulated by people by 8 weeks 😳

Cookie1831 · 02/11/2017 14:21

Eeeeeeek just noticed there is a July 2018 thread do that makes me feel like making progress (because I am a crazy!) x

ArkadyRose · 02/11/2017 15:17

@Cookie1831 Heh, this is my 10th pregnancy and although DD3 doesn't know yet, she's already taken to poking my belly and teasing me about it! I did get offered a seat on the bus yesterday though, so having a bump so early isn't all bad! Grin

senzaparole03 · 02/11/2017 15:25

@Arkady I did get offered a seat on the bus yesterday though, so having a bump so early isn't all bad!

This makes me laugh!

I am thinking about getting the tube badges though, as standing for 1h20 going to work is annoying my back these days (and i'm only 7 weeks!!)
But I'm worried I'll forget to take them off before any of my colleagues see.

Looking forward to being given seats!!

senzaparole03 · 02/11/2017 15:26

@bunny and others, thanks for the reassurance!

I'm sure everything is ok...

YorkshirePuddingPlse · 02/11/2017 15:37

Hi everyone! I’m so excited that a June baby group exists.
This is my first pregnancy and I’m living in the States with my husband. Turns out pre-natal groups aren’t a thing here, so I’ll have to seek out some pregnant women on my own 😂
I’d love to join the FB group and will email [email protected]
So glad you’re all here. My due date is 8 June.

Lulu298 · 02/11/2017 16:47

Ooh and have just see another June thread so we have two June threads cookie!

Is anyone else thinking of investing in a suitable pregnancy winter coat?

backformore · 02/11/2017 17:25

Quick question re dates (I should have asked my midwife this yesterday): if your EDD by last period was June 8, but then the first scan (at 7 weeks) gave an EDD of June 5, which one do you go by??

ArkadyRose · 02/11/2017 17:56

I'd go by the scan.

YorkshirePuddingPlse · 02/11/2017 18:36

@Lulu298 Totally wondering the same thing about a coat, but how no idea how big to go. And do you find something stretchy!?

YorkshirePuddingPlse · 02/11/2017 18:39

@jenslater hey - on acronyms, I found this

MOAN:

Booking in last week and mw said scan would be on 10th and they would send a letter next week with the time. Just got the letter and appointment is on 13th! I know it’s only three days extra but I got my bfp at 4+1 so I feel like i’ve been waiting aaaaaaages. Was so looking forward to waking up tomorrow and knowing it was only a week away.

(And yes, I know this is a petty thing to moan about!)

TurtleEyes · 02/11/2017 21:31

Had my booking in appointment this morning, I’ve not had many symptoms and overall I don’t feel that bad but she wasn’t worried Just said that’s normal for some pregnancy’s. Private scan Saturday, can’t wait! Just want to hear the heartbeat.

Lulu298 · 02/11/2017 21:50

Yes I think I read somewhere that they're not entirely sure what causes morning sickness so they're not worried if you don't have it.

Not sure yorkshirepud! I didn't need to buy a maternity coat for my last pregnancy. Maybe I should dig that old coat out as my current one is too tight around the shoulders. A stretchy one sounds a good idea but not sure if they make ones to stretch over the shoulders lol Smile

Have bought some Gaviscon tablets in the hope they make me feel less like I need to eat all the time to keep the acid/queasyness at bay. Don't feel like eating my nighttime cereal so maybe they're working. I've already been dreaming about buying some Crunch Nut cornflakes though to keep "morning sickness at bay" aka let's pig out whilst have a suitable excuse so maybe they won't work for
long! Wink

Betsy1988 · 02/11/2017 21:52

Evening ladies! Congratulations !

I’m also due June, 7+1 today, booking appointment is booked for 21st Nov! Feels like miles away.

This is my first and feel overly tired, haven’t had any sickness but feel very nauseous and extremely sore boobs and sooooo bloated.

Gaelach · 02/11/2017 22:13

I'm 6+6 today. No real nausea, only slight tinges when I get hungry. I've booked in for an early scan next week, I'll be 7+4. Can't wait! My boobs have been complete agony, turning round in bed, walking down stairs, raising or lowering my arms, agony! And they are the size of God knows what. I'm reluctant to invest in a pregnancy/maternity bra even though everything I read online says I should. Don't want to temp fate yet. Still haven't told anyone other than DP. I sorta like that it's our wee secret. I have a hen do coming up when I'll be 9w, don't know how I'll navigate not drinking! Any advice?

ArkadyRose · 02/11/2017 23:00

Tell them you're on antibiotics? Smile

Wonky35 · 03/11/2017 05:14

Antibiotics is a good shout. Say that you have had a dental problem e.g. Infection due to wisdom tooth and that you are on metronidazole. That's the antibiotic that you absolutely can't drink while you are taking it.
