  • er, 'options' not 'opticians' obviously!
Impatientmummy36 · 19/10/2017 20:01

Ladydolly carbloading here too I'm afraid. Couldn't sleep so had half a bagel and 2 pieces bread and butter in middle of night.

Can't do that daily!!

Have bought those waist band expander things to extend the use of my jeans!

Pool28 · 19/10/2017 20:17

What’s the email address for the Facebook group, I can’t find it on the thread

Thanks

HolyShmoly · 19/10/2017 20:31

My sister gave me her old maternity clothes a few months back as she was doing an attic clear out and the chances were, I'd need them at some point.
I'm going to have a rummage and see if there's any trousers in there. I was so relieved when I took off my tights and skirt tonight.

we'll ignore the massive wobbly I threw at the weekend that I was already too fat to fit in them as she was all bump which prompted DH to go out of the room and walk back in wearing a smock top to prove I'd fit

So I'm craving oranges but everytime I eat an orange I'm sick within 10 minutes. How unfair is that! I didn't crave anything last time.

Also have awful trapped wind :( fine to bed early as feel in a lot of discomfort

Lulu298 · 19/10/2017 20:56

Sorry to hear your midwife swept your enquiry about an elcs aside robin. And thanks impatientmummy with the info about it being our right. Glad to hear your bloods have been doubling.

Great scan pic mumof3 - amazing!

Have had a terrible day. Really stressful at work with an awful headache too - ugh.

Has anyone else had a fair bit of CM?

CoffeeChocolateWine · 19/10/2017 21:01

Lovely pic Mumof3.

The thread has moved on a bit, but just wanted to come back and report that I've had no more bleeding today so I'm feeling a bit more confident that yesterday was just a bit of spotting. I won't relax until the scan though!

SulkyPuddleDuck · 19/10/2017 21:18

@CoffeeChocolateWine I'm so glad to hear that. I had a bit of spotting yesterday following er.. (tmi, perhaps) a bit of fooling around. Nothing went in anything but I enjoyed myself, and bled straight after (just pink on tissue.) Massively freaked out and now have a scan on Monday so fingers crossed it goes well for both of us. Spent the whole of today convinced my boobs are smaller and crying over everything >.

CoffeeChocolateWine · 19/10/2017 21:21

Sorry to hear that Sulky. Really hope everything goes well on Monday. It's worth have a scan just to set your mind at ease. Have you had any more bleeding today? Take care of yourself.

HolyShmoly · 19/10/2017 21:23

@sulkypuddleduck are you going to the scan place in Chester-Le-Street? I mentioned to my midwife that I was going for one in Gosforth and she said that she'd heard that place was cheaper and seemed positive about it.
I don't think the £10 difference would cover the hassle of going down there for me though!

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 19/10/2017 21:25

@HolyShmoly Your husband sounds amazing 😄

SulkyPuddleDuck · 19/10/2017 21:39

@CoffeeChocolateWine - yeah it's really upset me, it was only the tiniest bit of pink on the paper but I called 111 anyway (like the nightmare I am!) They sent me to the out of hours GP. Has stopped today but can't decide if I feel crampy or not.

@HolyShmoly - The 7w3d scan I've got on the 30th is at Chester-le-Street yep :) The one I've got on Monday following the bleeding yesterday is on the NHS at Bishop Auckland EPU.

HolyShmoly · 19/10/2017 22:00

@unicornsandrainbows he has his moments alright. I feel like there will be many more of these moments over the next 8 months as he seems very prepared for me to be even more insane than normal.

@sulkypuddleduck I have read that bleeding following sex is normal, hopefully the scan will reassure you though.

UnicornDust17 · 19/10/2017 22:58

@17caterpillars1mouse i craved oranges/orange juice when pg with my DS :-)

Great scan pic Mumof3

Mummyloves09 · 20/10/2017 04:50

Good morning ladies,

I hope you are all well?

I don't know how it works now as I had DD so long ago but I have been referred by hospital to be under the care of community midwives, And the local hospital are dealing with my scans. Despite having hospital based midwives. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

This pregnancy has me burping constantly, i have swollen boobs and throbbing nipples. I feel nauseous most of the day. And recently I have been having period pains and headaches. This is strange to me as with DD I only had sore boobs and headaches.

I have an early scan on thursday when I will be 8+2 so i should see what this little bean is up to in thereSmile.

Cookie1831 · 20/10/2017 06:54

Morning! I have been lurking for the past few days following faint bfp Saturday but getting stronger each day, digital 1-2 on Tuesday and 2-3 today which makes sense as sure I ovulated on a Wednesday. Am feeling nervous as 2 early losses already this year but neither of which got as far as a digital 2-3 so fingers crossed! Going to try and sort booking appt with midwife and book an early scan too. My guess is that I am 4+2 so due end of June but could be a couple of days out as have irregular 6 weeks cycle
Sorry for the rambling boring post I am fun I swear Blushxx

Cookie1831 · 20/10/2017 06:55

Oh and this will be 3rd child Smile

BoofayTheOompaLoompaSlayer · 20/10/2017 07:59

All the latest emails have had invites sent. Let me know if you haven’t received one.

Welcome, @Cookie1831!

UnicornDust17 · 20/10/2017 08:23

I'm 6 weeks today, and the clear blue should have said 3+ weeks but it didn't, it still says 2-3 Sad my booking appointment with the midwife isn't for three weeks. I also feel fine today, absolutely normal. No tummy feelings, no bloating, no sore boobs, nothing.... Blimmin eck Confused

UnicornDust17 · 20/10/2017 08:24

Congrats @Cookie1831..! Welcome x

Mummyloves09 · 20/10/2017 08:30

Welcome @Cookie1831Smile

@UnicornDust17 I did see some post earlier on CBT saying they are not always accurate. I hope that helps put your mind at ease a little bit.

weasledee · 20/10/2017 08:49

Hi unicorn, with my last pregnancy I only got 3+ when I was 6.5 weeks.
You’re only 6 weeks today so the chance of it being accurate on the day you change to 6 weeks is pretty slim I’d say..... try not to worry, harder said than done Smile

Cookie1831 · 20/10/2017 08:50

Ah unicorn I have read they not accurate either, have you a good relationship with your GP? They might be willing to do some serum HCGs to reassure you or even send you for a early preg unit assessment?x

UnicornDust17 · 20/10/2017 09:26

That's what I've read too about CB, so fingers crossed 🤞 not that I've un crossed them. Thanks @Cookie1831 my drs are rubbish... Sad I may self refer to epu if cramps and bleeding get worse... Am trying not to worry
