Derlor - I only own 2 maternity bras, one white and one black, and I am terrible at doing laundry so you do the maths! My bras needed a break today as they are pretty grim - now that's TMI!

derlor · 09/04/2007 22:33

i'm curious as to where/when you would wear your cat suit - can you link it for us to see?
i'm not sure about the dungarees for me personally but some pg women look fab in them and they are trendy again so go for it.

hollyandalice · 09/04/2007 22:33

I really want some dungarees!I told my dp about my desire this afternoon and he looked at me like I'd lost my mind, so maybe I won't get any after all!

I'm the same derlor. As soon as I get in the door the trackie bottoms go on. I just need to feel comfortable atm!

bumperlicious · 09/04/2007 22:35

Here . Hmm maybe I could carry it off I wasn't only 5 ft 2!

bumperlicious · 09/04/2007 22:38

Random questions Iknow, but just out of interest how old are your DP/DH/TPs?! I know we probably discussed this really early on but just curious. Mine is 41, 16 years older than me.

derlor · 09/04/2007 22:40

Bumper that is not at all bad - (i was thinking catwoman in batman) jazz it up with a nice wee cardi and you got yourself an extreemly comfy going out snazzy wee outfit.

hollyandalice · 09/04/2007 22:40

Mine has just turned 36, so is 11 years older than me! However, he has the mental age of a 20 year old!!

derlor · 09/04/2007 22:41

mine is 32 - same as me
we had ds at 25
we had dd at 29
more info than you asked for i just got carried away!

hollyandalice · 09/04/2007 22:42

I was thinking pvc zipped down the front! It looks just like a black top and trousers and must be v comfy!

bumperlicious · 09/04/2007 22:52

And there was me thinking that you all just didn't know how to tell me that it was awful!

Just curious about the age thing. Looks like mine is an oldie , specially for a first baby. H&A, didn't realise you were a baby like me! I thought I was the youngest on here. DH is pretty young for his age too, dresses young and looks young, and I am 26 going on 36 so we kind of meet in the middle!

Ok, next question - last one before bed I promise - how did you meet your loved ones?

DH and I met at uni, he was a 'mature student' (allegedy!) but lived in halls with us freshers and just blended in. We started going out in the middle of the second year. What about you?

derlor · 09/04/2007 22:52

well chicks i'm off to bed - thanks for chatting i'm feeling a lot less hacked off now.
have a good sleep x

we were at school together - but didn't really know each other. at age 19 i was in a shitty relationship with a total twunt. was on a night out at pub with my friends and in walked DH. OMG he was ALL grown up!!!! - i threw myself at him literally and we have ben together ever since - dumped the twunt the next day .

OP posts:
derlor · 09/04/2007 22:55

now i really am off to bed x

Goodnight derlor! I am on my third toasted muffin and peanut butter, so will be up for a while!

I met my dp at work, I was deputy manager of one store and he was manager of another store! We used to chat on the phone all the time and finally met on a training course and that was that!! I never really notice the age difference as like you bumper I am quite old for my age and he is young!

I think I am the youngest on here, I'm not 26 til december. I am the youngest of my "mum" friends and whenever I go to toddler group I am almost always the youngest there. It's really odd as I don't think 23 is particularly young to have a baby, but I don't seem to meet many mums of my age.

Go to bed derlor, stop lurking!

hollyandalice · 09/04/2007 23:08

Sorry derlor, x posted! I hate bhs, they are shit!

hollyandalice · 09/04/2007 23:09

Not british home stores (although they are pretty shit), but braxton hicks!

bumperlicious · 09/04/2007 23:10

I'm the first of my friends to have a baby H&A and they are all older than me! But it's more about the situation that you are in or the state of mind than the age you are. When you are in a stable relationship and living together you can sometimes feel more grown up than older friends who are free and single. Having an older partner makes a difference too I think, at least for me. If DH were younger we probably would have waited, but only because I spent so long at uni and am only 2 years into my career, would have like to have made more of that before getting up the duff! But then would have been devastated if we had waited and couldn't have had children and then it be too late to do much about it.

Well that's deep and meaningful for this late! Guess I'd better go to bed too! Hope you sleep well H&A.

hollyandalice · 09/04/2007 23:20

Goodnight bumper! I think I am overtired! I have been up since 5.45 and have felt knackered all day, but now I am wide awake! Grrr...!

Seansgirl · 10/04/2007 07:33

Wow! You lot were up late chatting! Thanks Holly re my house - I don't live like that, its never that tidy!

I am on here this early as DD woke up at 6.30 (yawn!) and we have to go out son to see my Dad he is 60 today!! And then DD has another birthday party to go to this afternoon with her mates.

My DH is 40 (I am 36) and we meet (15 years ago) through his sister. I used to work at the same hotel as her and we used to go clubbing (cringe!) together. She used to live near the city centre so I used to stay at hers on the lounge floor. DH persuaded us to give the clubbing a miss one night and go to the pub with him and his mates. Was a bit of a rocky start as I actually got off with one of his mates! Those were the days.....

Seansgirl · 10/04/2007 07:34

Should have said she shared a house with DH near the city centre.

Seansgirl · 10/04/2007 07:59

LOL on the near identical outfits, I always worry that someone will come to door but if I know someone is coming (like my ironing lady who is coming in half an hour) I have to put on a respectable outfit. Well, semi the tracky bottoms are fitted instead of baggy and there is no stain on my hoody

Better go and get the breakfast sorted
