@HolyShmoly that's my problem too! The cycle length makes me 4 days behind where I would be by LMP date. Grrrr!! So impatient!

Lulu298 · 05/10/2017 21:56

@greggs - 'service wash' = lol! What's prostap?

Fingers crossed we have sticky beans!

lorns01 · 05/10/2017 21:59

Hi ladies, would love to join the group if you'll have me Smile and congratulations on your lovely pregnancies!!
The Date of my last period was 1/9. Think I may have conceived around 18/9. Started what I thought was my period on 27/9 but was lighter than usual (and brown rather than red - sorry!! Confused) so tested and got three faint BFP on 29/9. Went to docs the same day as was worried about the bleed but their preg test came back negative! Been testing at home all week and the line's getting darker. How long should I leave it before going back to GP? Have sore boobs, crying at TV programmes and feeling pretty tired. Can anyone recommend a good website that calculates due dates? xx

@HolyShmoly just seen your recommendation for due date calculator. Thank you Smile xx

HolyShmoly · 05/10/2017 22:07

Lorns, I'd go back tomorrow or Monday, it's been a week and the tests have gotten stronger.

HolyShmoly · 05/10/2017 22:07

Oh, and congratulations!

IrnBruCraver · 05/10/2017 22:15

That calculator says 3 weeks but my doctor said 4 weeks (will be 5 on Saturday) and both are the NHS supposedly!

SulkyPuddleDuck · 05/10/2017 22:24

Been hit by ridiculously sore and enormous boobs today! Honestly think I went up a cup size over an afternoon and the nice new bras I bought two weeks ago no longer fit Shock Hmm Its incredibly uncomfortable but also comforting if you know what I mean?

Welcome to you @Lorns - I would definitely go back to your GP, the HcG is probably high enough for their tests now!

SulkyPuddleDuck · 05/10/2017 22:25

@Holy and @Irnbru - I'm 3 weeks 6 days according to the calcs that take in my cycle length, a little more or less if they don't. Feels like it's going to be forever until a scan let alone a possible ' final package' Wink (fingers desperately crossed of course..)

Fclare81 · 05/10/2017 23:19

17caterpillars1mouse · 06/10/2017 07:32

6 weeks today. It's starting to feel a bit more real

Lulu298 · 06/10/2017 07:52

Morning ladies!

My Ovia app advised taking 600mg of folic acid but all the vits seems to just have 400mg. Has anyone else come across this? Just wondering whether to buy a supplement.

ElizabethLemon · 06/10/2017 07:58

Lulu the pharmacist I spoke to said the 400mg was fine unless doctor/midwife advised more.

Is everyone taking vit d? What dosage are you taking?

jmojo · 06/10/2017 08:01

I think the recommendation is 400 of folic acid. They reduced it a few years ago. Only certain people are meant to take more (as prescribed by dr).

LJFM2B · 06/10/2017 08:10

Morning ladies! Congratulations to all the new BFPs.

Honestly feel like the weeks are DRAGGING so bad. I'm usually really laid back but I'm feeling so itchy to tick another day of the calendar. I wish I could be patient and keep myself busy but nothi seems to be working haha

My only symptoms are boobs sore (not growing 😠) and now very emotional. Haven't had indigestion for a few days and that's how I "knew" before I even took the test.

Any freebie recommendations are welcome haha although feeling the same in regards to tempting fair 😩 Xxx

ladydolly · 06/10/2017 08:17

Hello newbies! waves at @mynameisjune nice to see another TTC grad here!!

greggs can you change your handle? Every time I come on here seeing you makes me want a sausage roll...

I think if your BMI is over 30 they recommend a higher dose of folic acid. Ovia is a merican, perhaps the advice is different?

I was supposed to be out last night but instead I was asleep at 8pm. It was delicious.

6 +1 and I am officially out of all my jeans/trousers. I am wearing a pair I bought last time that are non maternity but stretchy and a size bigger than I normally take and they are making me feel sick with tummy pressure. How am I going to hide this for 6 more weeks???

LJFM2B · 06/10/2017 08:31

I will add to the spreadsheet tonight will be great to see it as time goes on!!

MynameisJune · 06/10/2017 08:38

Morning lady hopefully we’ll have some more grads here soon 😊

My bras are getting tight already! I nearly ordered some maternity ones and then stopped that madness before it started. I’ve just ordered more vitamins and that felt like tempting fate enough. Even though logic tells me that this will either be sticky or it won’t and there’s very little I can do about it.

Bunnyears85 · 06/10/2017 09:19

I'm with you with the sore boobs! They're getting bigger too - this is not good for me as I'm a 36G Blush

TMI heads up!.... As with my last pregnancy my poo is like tiny little nuggets, grrr. Eating so much fibre too and drinking lots of water!

I'm so excited. I try not to think about what may happen. Keep positive ladies. Positive vibes! I was even looking a buggies last night. I have the Bugaboo Cameleon 3 which is only 18 months old - I LOVE IT!! (and cost over £900) Shock But thinking about selling it and getting an UppaBaby Vista with two seats (second hand) instead.

SulkyPuddleDuck · 06/10/2017 09:20

Hi June :) Yep, my bras are tight too - I'd just bought three new ones only a few weeks ago as my old faithfuls were starting to look a bit tired.. I'd give anything for a comfy sports bra or something but not sure I can justify that yet.

Got my second beta today and so nervous :( I suppose I don't see how the levels can have doubled as expected when I don't think I really feel any different from Wednesday. Ergh.

Having said that I seem to be either super angry or super emotional at the moment. I'm either feeling murderous towards DP or glancing at him and welling up because I love him so much. He looks a little scared.

Mommymoo1 · 06/10/2017 09:47

Morning girls. I keep dipping in and out of this thread and haven’t been commenting much sorry. I’m 5+4 I think, haven’t really got many symptoms at the moment, but going on holiday next week so hoping it holds out until after that. I’m am quite tired though, but then I work full time and juggle a 3 year old so that’s the norm anyway. Hope you’re all okay x

Newbietwo · 06/10/2017 10:00

I'd love to join too please! Bfp on Tuesday, lmp 23.8 but I think I ovulated late so a June baby. This is a total surprise - we weren't ttc, I'm still breastfeeding ds1 and I have pcos. Very happy though and also totally overwhelmed!!!!

MynameisJune · 06/10/2017 10:02

sulky I wouldn’t take how you’re feeling as an indication to your levels. My symptoms with DD didn’t kick in until 6 weeks. I felt completely normal until then. Keeping everything crossed that they’ve doubled.

bunny have you tried eating lots of green veggies, for magnesium? The body uses magnesium in the bowels (sorry tmi) but it can help get things moving again.

pulpi · 06/10/2017 10:07

@SulkyPuddleDuck I've got a bit of the emotional rollercoaster going on as well. DH left dirty dishes in the kitchen from DS's breakfast and I climbed right up on that cross.

I had somehow blocked out all this emotional madness. Makes me worry about what else I've forgotten from my first pregnancy!

Anyone else started feeling a bit lightheaded and short of breath when doing any kind of physical exertion? I work in a library and after lifting and handful of books I needed to sit for a moment. Luckily, I could pass it off as toddler exhaustion to my inquisitive boss.
