Ladies can anybody help me out here, im trying to work out my DD (i explained in my original message that this pregnancy is directly after a MC therefore no cycle)

I took a clear blue digital Saturday evening which showed 2-3 weeks and for some reason iv decided to take another test this morning which showed 3+ weeks... i know these tests are from conception date ... does this mean im around 5 weeks?

Confused
jmojo · 04/10/2017 09:34

Buffay I emailed you to join the Fb group.

lampert · 04/10/2017 09:49

TMI alert....

Is anyone noticing their pee seems very yellow / concentrated?

I'm drinking lots but that suggests otherwise which seems strange!

BoofayTheOompaLoompaSlayer · 04/10/2017 09:50

@jmojo Sent invite!

Really suffering from twinges and stabbing pains today. Anyone else? Got a regular twinge going on in my left groin, it's got me in full on panic mode! 6+2 today.

BoofayTheOompaLoompaSlayer · 04/10/2017 09:52

@lampert Are you taking vitamins? My B complex used to make my wee luminous! Also berocca does that too!

lampert · 04/10/2017 09:56

Aaaahhhhh@BoofayTheOompaLoompaSlayer, maybe it's the pregnacare!!! Thank you!!

Bunnyears85 · 04/10/2017 09:57

Pregnancy vits make your wee very yellow! Don't worry.

Yep - lots of twinges here!

I also feel very hot (all the time), loads of saliva in my mouth and constipated.... Already very very different from my last pregnancy!

MagggieMay · 04/10/2017 09:59

@lampert I'm struggling to drink more as I'm already weeing every 45 minutes and I've got mild diarrhoea. And on top of that I apparently sweat through anti persperant now.

Caspiana · 04/10/2017 10:29

@ljfm2b

Yes it is from conception so you will be around 5 weeks based on the clear blue digi! Maybe you're 5th June or something?

17caterpillars1mouse · 04/10/2017 10:50

Eurgh I havent missed morning sickness. Thrown up again today and feel so queasy. Getting ready to take Dd to toddler talk. Could be fun.

Feeling guilty as I already feel queasy and shattered all the time. She's already watching more t.v. than I would like

LJFM2B · 04/10/2017 11:00

Caspiana thank you - glad i can have something to aim towards

I dont what to call this feeling im having, maybe twinges more on the right side of my tummy.

i feel like i drink a lot but pee has been more concentrated too!

17caterpillars1mouse im not a mum yet so i dont know how you feel but what i will say is alot of people feel the mum guilt when they already have a little one but i wouldnt worry she is going to be a big sister soon and have a little play mate:)

Bunnyears85 · 04/10/2017 13:21

Already working out how many more weeks of work I have Wink

SulkyPuddleDuck · 04/10/2017 13:24

Just got back from the doc who was absolutely great and said based on my medical history - which is rather complicated - he thinks it'd be a good idea to do a beta test so I had one today (will get results tomorrow morning) and another on Fri. Feel a bit better now that I feel someone professional has an eye on things... I also feel a bit pathetic, like I should have just sucked it up and dealt with the worry because I know it doesn't actually change anything but hey ho.

LJFM2B · 04/10/2017 13:39

Bunnyears85 33 weeks left at work Smile based on leaving 2 weeks before DD

SulkyPuddleDuck glad you got it sorted, if they offered any tests to me id take them, although you cant change anything - its reassuring!! you never know because of this you may get your scan a little ealrier!!

ladydolly · 04/10/2017 13:39

sulky you got what you needed so that's what matters. Hope it puts your mind at rest!

Bunny ooooh good idea... I went to 38 weeks last time and it was too late, I could only manage half days the last 2 weeks I was there. Maybe I could set up a little timer on my phone... #carriedaway

Flujab and bloods this morning, still feels so early and if I didn't feel so sick and tired it wouldn't seem real!

ladydolly hard not to get carried away though isnt it Smile

purplebiro · 04/10/2017 13:48

Urg. Symptoms well and truly kicking in now. Nausea that only seems to abate when I eat but since I was gd last time and have to have an early test this time I'm trying really hard to eat sensibly...so BLEUG. Also the tiredness, oh the tiredness. Booking in confirmed for 27th reckon scan will be a fortnight after that so...some time around 10th Nov. Feels like years away :(

jmojo · 04/10/2017 14:00

I booked an early preg scan for 19/11. I didn't have one last time but I have had 2 CP over the summer so want to check. Last time I had awful 24 hr nausea and couldn't bear to go through that only to find at 12 wks that there was a missed misc or something.

jmojo · 04/10/2017 14:01

*19/10 not 19/11 Blush

purplebiro · 04/10/2017 14:20

How much do the early scans cost? Do you get a pic? Considering it.

HolyShmoly · 04/10/2017 14:28

We work to the academic year and my last AF started the 30th August, so it looks perfectly normal that I now have the year in weeks on my desk. I've managed not to highlight week 40... yet!
I did have another read through of our maternity policy earlier and I'll double check the maths I did months ago on how much Mat leave will cost us. There's no such thing as too prepare, right?
sulky glad you're getting tests to put your mind at rest.
lady was it GP, nurse or midwife who did the flu jab? It's on my (short) list of things to ask the doctor tomorrow.

jmojo · 04/10/2017 14:29

They vary depending on company/area, but mine is £45.

Mummyloves09 · 04/10/2017 14:32

Good afternoon ladies,
If your looking for reasonable priced early scans Groupon had them for £39.00

LJFM2B · 04/10/2017 14:38

jmojo Hmmm im thinking about it, DH thinks we should wait it out but i do all of a sudden feel like waiting 7 weeks for a scan will feel like waiting 7 years!!

MagggieMay · 04/10/2017 14:46

My GP has signed me up for a free dating scan at 6 weeks because I genuinelu didn't know how long my cycles were. Could you pretend you don't know how long yours are?
