Welcome to thread 2 for babies due in May 2018.

Looking forward to early scans, seeing the first flutters and progressing further into the first trimester.

Hey Daisy so sorry to hear this, you must be feeling rotten, take care of yourself. Feeling really sad and scared reading about all the epu scans and spotting on the thread. Scared about tomorrow and thinking of everyone else in the same boat :-(

@Daisy, I'm so sorry to hear that. It's awful being in that zone of uncertainty when all you want is answers

Hi All,

I joined the first thread early on but have struggled to keep up with this fast moving thread! I'm 9 weeks tomorrow and have just started to feel really sick in the afternoons, thought I had gotten away lightly so far! This is my first so no idea what symptoms to expect! Fingers crossed it dissapears soon! Sorry to hear about those of you having spotting, must be so worrying!

Zoo33, I have zero symptoms too. I have recently gained weight, can't even tell whether my boobs are swollen😕. They say every pregnant is different, hoping we will be the lucky ones.

This is the longest week of my life! Waiting for next Tuesday when i have another scan to see if there is anything growing in the gestational sac we saw (seemingly empty) on a scan last Friday. HCG went up (9500-14000) but I have no idea how far along I am because this was the one month in 5 years I didn't mark down my LMP date, and my cycles are loooong. But worried that others saw heartbeats at 5 weeks!? When I had my scan last week I think I can't have been less than 5+4. So nauseous and extremely tired and really hoping everything's ok!! In my heart I think it's a blighted ovum.

Sending you lots of love daisy and everyone else worried over spotting etc. This is such a rollercoaster...

I had my GP appointment today and he's referred me for a scan tomorrow. He did say the spotting is likely nothing to worry about but he'd rather get it checked. I'm feeling ok about it today, I'm hoping to feel reassured but we'll see tomorrow. I'm sorry that so many of us are in the same position.

Hi guys, got my results back and HCG was just 14 so they're pretty certain it was a miscarriage.

I've booked an early private scan for Saturday when I'll be 8 + 2. Just purely because I'm impatient and I can't bear getting excited without any certainty that things are on track. Very nervous, first pregnancy, but hopefully if everything is ok I'll be able to think about something else for 10 minutes.

I’m 9 weeks today and I have also joined the spotting crew. Really worried but hoping everything is okay. Feeling exactly as you described Doratha, exhausted and fed up 😞

spotting red on wiping now, breast soreness defo almost gone. Exactly same as my mmc. At least I'll find out soon this time rather than finding out at 12 week scan. 99% sure that's me out ladies. I don't know if I can go through this again. :(

Phoenix - I'm so sorry. I hope it works out. My sister just had a baby after two miscarriages and he is the hunkiest chunkiest perfect baby.

Oh phoenix thinking of you. Check out my post about spotting on the pregnancy thread, lots of positive stories on there including others who are in same boat but pregnancy was fine.

Thanks ladies, I'm being pessimistic to prepare myself for the worst I think.
Luckily am off work anyway so can just relax tomorrow xx

It seems to have settled for now anyway. I've put a pad on just in case anything starts overnight. Thursday can't come soon enough!
