Katy - I would say fine for stag do - as long as he isnt drinking then he can be back should anything exciting happen!!!

Not sure about the party - is it day time or night time? Who would look after little one?

LesleyR · 05/04/2007 12:00

Quick post as my ma is still here.

For Ellie and Cd good news/results.

My mum thinks the baby will come on Saturday or Sunday - she's never had mystic granny powers before so I'm not getting my hopes up. Still got period type pains and a rock hard BH type tummy but I don't feel like anything real is happening.

Will pop back later to see whether any of you have had a baby. COME ON! It's been ages

CaptainDippy · 05/04/2007 12:00

Mmmmm .... Just posted a response to you Katy, but it hasn't appeared ...

Anyway - I said that DH would be fine to go on his Stag Do - He would only be an hour away - plenty of time to get back should contractions etc begin and the Formal Do in the summer should be absolutely fine too I am sure - bubs would probably just sleep through most of it tbh - Baby's are v.adaptable - It is when they get older that the trouble starts ....

Gotta buzz - DD1 back .....

runnyhabbit · 05/04/2007 12:01

Hi all

Tried to catch up..here goes..

Ange - congratulations lovely name too

Ds seems to know exactly which buttons to press atm. Being very, very clingy with me which is unlike him.

Elliek - glad everything is ok

CD - I still haven't finished my bag, and I'm due Tuesday [need to get of backside emoticon] and great news about strep B

Re stretchmarks - I have a lovely pattern around my belly button. Looks like a bloody map lol. Have to laugh about them otherwise I'd cry

Katy - sounds like you've got everything covered with the parties.

Sorry if I missed anyone out Thank god for the bank holidays this weekend - dh can take over running the house.

Got mw this afternoon....is that really the time.....

runnyhabbit · 05/04/2007 12:03

and as if on cue, ds is now screaming the house down, as I've taken a biro off him (he's not allowed them after we caught him drawing on our duvet cover)

Baby News!!!!!!!!

I have just received a text from YvieE to say that she has had her baby!

"Please let the group know that I gave birth to a beautiful girl this AM at 9.59. She weighed in at 6lb 12 after a 19 hour labour"

She was not due until the 21st - so an early suprise for her!

Wonderful news of another April bean arriving!!

hotlipsmummy · 05/04/2007 12:15

very exciting and well done to YvieE! Yet another girl!! Where are all the boys?

nuttygirl · 05/04/2007 12:15

Wooo!!!! Congrats to Yvie

runnyhabbit · 05/04/2007 12:15

Thats wonderful news!

Katy44 · 05/04/2007 12:26

CONGRATULATIONS YVIE

Katy44 · 05/04/2007 12:27

We need photos and names.
Just realised she was due 2 days before me - eek! Was it her first? I think it was

Katy44 · 05/04/2007 12:28

Thanks for the advice about the parties, sounds like both will be fine.
GMM- it's kind of an afternoon /evening garden party, families invited. They have entertainment on for the children (obviously mine might be a bit young for the egg and spoon race!). So he'd be coming with us, wouldn't particularly want to go if that wasn't the case I think.

Katy44 · 05/04/2007 12:30

Ooh I can't get over Yvie!
Now just because we've had 3 lots of good news doesn't mean we can't have any more babies today.

geordiemacminx · 05/04/2007 12:32

oooh sounds lovely katy - an excuse for a new outfit for a yummy mumm me thinks too!!

Just been ready the thread about the hotel toiletries - absolutely hilarious!!!

Katy44 · 05/04/2007 12:34

Yes, that's going to be the next panic - what on earth do I wear?? Obviously I'll have lost 4 stone by then so...

KatyTheProcrastinator · 05/04/2007 12:41

Bit of guilt every time I post - not changing my name back until after I've packed the bag

EllieKthePA · 05/04/2007 12:44

i've just been chicken chasing

KatyTheProcrastinator · 05/04/2007 12:52
Hmm
KatyTheProcrastinator · 05/04/2007 12:53

is that a euphemism?

Smole · 05/04/2007 12:53

Congratulations Yvie and Ange.

Hope everyone else is ok.

Still lurking. Will catch up later.

geordiemacminx · 05/04/2007 12:53

linen type trousers and a nice floaty type top and sandal/heels depending on what you are used to. Next has some lovely stuff in at the moment.

EllieKthePA · 05/04/2007 12:57

now i have to go remove the bugs from matthew's wheelbarrow, he's just come in crying his eyes out!

OP posts:
EllieKthePA · 05/04/2007 13:05

uncle skott asked him to use his new spade to dig up the molehill earth, he was but came across loads of ants and they scared him, the earth was all wriggly

came in rubbing snot and dribble into his eyes!

all sorted now
