Used to love it when I was little, specially the bit about you let your knickers down in a he he, he said knickers kind of way!

octo · 03/04/2007 22:41

Is that because I fired you??? Think my executive decision may get overuled by the masses!

Birdiebump · 03/04/2007 22:41

Octo - your lollypop song sounds a bit dodgy to me...

Good idea Ellie - I shall put "Walrus" on my Ipod for labour! Wonderful song for a baby to be born to in my (old hippie) opinion!

What MNers are pissing you off, Ellie?

octo · 03/04/2007 22:42

Yes come on - do tell ....

Pesha · 03/04/2007 22:43

Oo Ellie if you can find a link that does play it that would be cool! You could be PA again
Oasis covered it aswell I think.

EllieKthePA · 03/04/2007 22:43

Yeah it is magical mystery tour, not that I knew im not that old I just looked it up.

And earlier they had a bloke with a big clamping thing doing it to himself

octo · 03/04/2007 22:53

Ellie - that thread with the baker really didn't get it - did she? I can see its frustrating for a small business but thats how it works and really apart from saying 'tough sh*t' there's not alot more you could add! How weird though to go and create another one the same - nutter!

Birdiebump · 03/04/2007 22:54

Well I knew cos I am that old. I think I was about 2 when that album came out - remember it like it was yesterday....

EllieKthePA · 03/04/2007 22:55

Birdiebump · 03/04/2007 22:55

Yeah, it's like a kid not liking the answer they got from mummy so going to ask daddy... What does it take to get the message through to some people??

Pesha · 03/04/2007 22:57

Was talking to dp the other day about now we def dont want anymore children we gonna have to be very careful with birth control. He said he'd get the chop Absolutely PMSL I said I think you mean snip dont you?! Was rofl imagining him going to drs saying he wants the chop and then coming out with nothing left
He was not so amused!

Birdiebump · 03/04/2007 22:58

I think maybe she was looking for some sympathy vote or something whereas most people are pretty pleased that our partners and other new dads get time off without having to stress about whether or not will be able to and having employers kick up a fuss. I thought the comment about sacking him if he had a broken arm was completely ludicrous - she clearly has no concept of employment law.
