Hi bEllie! Funnily enough - I've no desire to jump the queue just yet. I fancy 10th April which is the letter of my RL name please.

Thought I'd better transpose this:

Pesha are you in Yeovil?? Cos if you are, I'm only 32 miles and 40 mins drive from you!

bEllieK · 28/03/2007 00:52

think she's gone to bed birdie, which is really where i should go too x

btw, forgot to post stuff today, will do it tomorrow!

Birdiebump · 28/03/2007 00:53

No one's talking to me so no more excuses not to go to bed!

Birdiebump · 28/03/2007 00:53

Night night Ellie.

bEllieK · 28/03/2007 09:03

HELLO????????

are you seriously telling me that at 9am NO-ONE has posted??????!!!!!!!!!!

liath · 28/03/2007 09:05

I'm here .

There's the most God-awful smell wafting up from dd though so will need to do the nappy honours.

Really painful regular tightenings yesterday, very annoying when it doesn't actually come to anything. Bet I'm still here in 3 weeks.....

bEllieK · 28/03/2007 09:15

i'm dreading those smells again, have loved the last 6 mths of no dirty nappies

i have 38wk check at MW this morning so back later. if i remember i'll ask her how far down he is!

Bramshott - my god that sounds like one scary birth experience - well done you!!!

Off to console James by reading "A Squash and a Squeeze"......
x

YvieE · 28/03/2007 09:33

Morning

1b3 - Loving the names Zed and Lola. Hope you and the family are well.

Bramshott - All is can is say is wow, 3 hours from start to finish!

DP is cool with me giving birth any day BUT my due date as UFC is on at Wembley arena - so think the 19th would suit him fine!

eca · 28/03/2007 09:47

morning loves

not surprised it's quiet on here this am after a busy night!

ellie - hope your mw app goes well and baby's getting in the right position!

miabt - you sound like a child free afternoon is just what the doc ordered! Enjoy!

liath - oooh, you sound like your starting on a bit of an 'octo' trip - lots of action but no baby!

Have got a quiet day today, lovely. Finally thought i might do a bit of cooking, but it's looking like our cooker is on the blink! ahhh....

Pesha · 28/03/2007 09:57

Morning

Birdie - I am in yeovil, where are you? Are you somewhere bath way or am I confusing you with someone else?

hotlipsmummy · 28/03/2007 10:07

Morning ladies - gosh cannot keep up with all the new threads!! Have skimmed though it though and

Congratualtions to WCL, Bramshott, Bubblez and 1b3!! We are going to have real, life babies then??!!???!! How exciting!

Nutty - hope the toothache has got sorted. You may remember I had really bad toothache a couple of weeks ago and persuaded the dentist to have a proper look as a month of toothache was an UNBEARABLE thought. Anyway ended up having to have root canal work done so very glad i was so pushy. They can do the work if nec, its just abit more difficult! Good luck!

Well we have got a new set of builders here and they are on day 3 of converting the loft room into 2 new bedrooms. DS is very excited about "Bob Builder" being here!! Actually his name is Rob but that is far to close to Bob for DS to appreciate! All very exciting anyway.

Good luck to the rest of you with everything that's going on and looking forward to hearing more baby news!

flumppootle · 28/03/2007 10:09

Morning

LOL at you lot last night, how do you manage to stay up so late?????????????

Lovely birth story Bramshott, and love her name aswell
PSML at SOSPLs delivey joke about the postman - love it

Pesha, I was spitting feathers for you reading your mail. Rant away girl. I have issues with my mother (she suffers from a form of Munchhausen's syndrome) which is one of the reasons that I have asked people NEVER to reveal my real name on MN. I can totally relate to how frustrating it is and how very little we can actually do about it.
Big Hugs from me

Katy very sorry to hear your sad news, hugs too.

Have a good afternoon MIAMBT, am very - LOL

Hope all is well at MW bEllieK!

You sound really uncomfortable Liath, hope things progress soon, or did you not want them to this early ? cant remember!

I have got one of those days today with Drs appointments, sky man coming round, removal men coming round and meetings with the school. No time to rest or do anything constructive still better to get it out of the way before the school holidays next week. CANT WAIT not to have to do the school run

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 28/03/2007 10:15

CaptainDippy · 28/03/2007 10:43

Morning!! Just got my little monkey down for a nap - resisting, but still tired!!!! Sigh.....

Card just got declined in Tesco - Bit of a bummer as I was buying loads of stuff for my currently non-exsistent hospital bag ...... back to the drawing board .... Sigh....

Gosh - I sound so negative, but I am fine ..... really......

DH and I were STILL with each other this morning - left a note for him on the bathroom wall in the girls' bath crayons to say sorry and that I loved him Hope he saw it ......

Goodness me .....

What is going to happen today???? Can anyone top yesterday's excitement!!!!?

CaptainDippy · 28/03/2007 10:53

Know that feeling well MIABT!!

oooggs · 28/03/2007 11:08

Morning all - just got back from the consultant and I am booked onto the ward for 8.30am tomorrow for monitoring then to start induction via pessary.

I CAN'T WAIT - even though I am terrified

nuttygirl · 28/03/2007 11:10

Ok just a quick post.

I'm not impressed, where's all the new birth announcements I expected at least 2!!!

hmm...my toothache seems to have magically disappeared so fingers crossed it doesn't come back!

Think the wife of DHs colleague is in labour at the mo...said colleague wasn't in work this morning. Bet she's pleased cos she's about 10 days overdue!

Liath - are you doing an Octo on us....

CD - argh to card getting declined in Tesco. Hope things are ok hun. ((hugs))

CaptainDippy · 28/03/2007 11:11

Exciting stuff hon!! Have you been induced before?? Any Q's you wanna ask?? My biggest piece of advice is - if they put you on the drip - TAKE AN EPIDURAL!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully it won't come to that though. Hoping it is quick for you ..... Can't wait to hear about the safe arrival of your beautiful bubbas already!!

nuttygirl · 28/03/2007 11:12

Ooogs - x posted with you. Wow, you'll be having your LOs tomorrow...yay! I'm sure everything will be fine. Are you having them naturally then? I assume so if you're being induced.

CaptainDippy · 28/03/2007 11:12

Thank you for the [[hugs] nutty - Things are not v.good financially atm.

oooggs · 28/03/2007 11:15

Not been induced before, with James my waters went in the night at 36+1 and he was born at 36+3.

No idea how long it will take but will take all pain relief just want them out.

Both are head down so hoping for natural delivery, I worry that will be in labour for days and get first out then there will be probs with second and it will be an emergency c section.

nuttygirl · 28/03/2007 11:16

Aww you poor thing...it's such a difficult time too when we have stuff to buy for the baby etc. Our neighbours came round the other day about our fence (they were nice about it) but we feel like we have to replace it right away and it's a bit tight with the baby arriving. Do you have any family who could help you out?

CaptainDippy · 28/03/2007 11:27

Good for you oooogs, that is a good atttitude to have - hoping and praying it doesn't take days and your little ones will pop out quickly!

At least it is our third nutty so we don't have much stuff to buy, thank goodness. No, no family to help us out unfortunately - I don't think any of them quite "get" how tight it is for us right now. Sigh. DH will be paid soon, which is good, but we're unlikely to have any money after mortgage, bills etc etc We really could do with a new car (we won't all fit in ours once the new baby is born); but there's no way in the world we are going to be able to afford it. We'll just have to manage the best we can .....

Katy - Have just parcelled up your Sheepskin and should be able to post it 1st Class this PM - Let me know when it arrives and I apologise profusely in advance for the terrible wrapping!!
