Regarding the early scans, it's just so different for me, because all my friends (I am not from the UK originally) have around 2-3 scans until week 12 :-o

I am having the seven seas vitamins, but they are just so big and it sometimes feels like they are dislodged in my throat and that makes me feel absolutely terrible. The thought alone........... 😷😨

Foxglove88 · 07/05/2017 10:47

Hi everyone!
I hope you're all feeling OK. I fell asleep on the sofa at around 8pm last night, dragged myself up to bed and woke up at 9.30 this morning Grin

I'm struggling with the spreadsheet! Would someone be an angel and add me on there please.
EDD - 1st December
Child no. 1
MW - 17.05.17
Scan - 26.04.17 (early) & 23.05.17 (12 week)
Location - London

Thank you!
I haven't decided to join the group yet. I probably will if the 12 week scan goes well.

Foxglove88 · 07/05/2017 10:49

Oh! and I'm 28!

GadgetgirlUk · 07/05/2017 11:35

Sorry for everyone feeling shitty this morning, I've come out in sympathy 😜 @Bisquick, know the feeling, my Dad lives in Bahrain and is threatening to come over soon to visit - it always involves lots of arguments and weeks of hell when he's over. Try and be kind to yourself, I take myself to the supermarket for a break and have a tea in the cafe to get some space, it's a perfectly valid excuse to get some sneaky alone time xxx

Zaberwocky · 07/05/2017 12:10

Well.

This happended. It's the first time I've deviated from all foods healthy Grin not a vegetable or healthy grain in sight. Microwaved as well despite the new oven!

Is that nachos and chilli zabe? Anything with that much melted cheese is good. You NEED the calcium 😉

Zaberwocky · 07/05/2017 12:29

Does anyone have any thoughts on where I may have put £60 worth of John Lewis vouchers Blush ?

I literally had them in my hand, have put them somewhere safe, but my brain isn't working.

Zaberwocky · 07/05/2017 12:29

Glasto YES Grin lovely excessively cheesy nachos.

Zaberwocky · 07/05/2017 13:24

Glasto I've been meaning to ask you this Grin looking to the distant future ... are you thinking Swindon or JR for the birth? If that's not incredibly nosey to ask!

MaryShelley1818 · 07/05/2017 13:25

Hi everyone!! Goodness these threads move fast!
Hi to all the newbies and congratulations...I'll probably not join the FB group as happy on here for now and life is very busy to try and do both!
It's been a pretty good week...early scan on Monday with our baby's heartbeat, Midwife appointment on Tuesday, big family meal on Wednesday, It was my Birthday on Friday and my lovely DP surprised me with 2nts away in very posh hotels...we went to the Zoo for a day and shopping another day, I was very very spoilt with lots of lovely prezzies but the best one being a card and super soft cuddly bunny from our baby 😍 So so cute!
I'm exhausted today so just having a relaxing day after having to go and buy food shopping!

glastogal · 07/05/2017 14:00

zaber - I didn't know I had a choice!! Probably go with GWH though as it's only 10 mins away and DP doesn't drive (although he is planning to learn this year!) Are you trying to decide between the 2??

glastogal · 07/05/2017 14:00

Mary that sounds like such a lovely week!! Happy belated birthday 🎉

Zaberwocky · 07/05/2017 14:15

Glasto trying to! They're both about an equal distance from where we are now, so we've been given the option of either one for scans, etc.

I've opted for JR but I am second guessing myself a bit!

glastogal · 07/05/2017 15:32

If it helps, I have to pay £10 to get a scan pic from GWH.. not sure if that is normal but it seems loads to me!

DoctorDonnaNoble · 07/05/2017 15:42

£5 here. But main come out crap because I'm fat and over three NHS scans I think I got charged once!

DoctorDonnaNoble · 07/05/2017 15:43

Sorry that should have been 4

Mrsbluebell17 · 07/05/2017 16:01

Happy belated birthday Mary.

I haven't gotten out of bed yet today I'm so exhausted. I've even ordered the food shopping online for tomorrow despite the supermarket being a couple of min drive from my house Shock. Don't know what we will eat tonight - I need to be healthy really.

Zaberwocky · 07/05/2017 16:19

Well it's £5 at JR Grin that settles it for me then!

MotherofUnicorns · 07/05/2017 20:40

HI everyone
I have had a mega carb load day - 4 slices of toast for breakfast and leftover takeaway for dinner.
Tp make myself fell a bit more healthy i made a banana loaf from fearne Cottons recipe book - with spelt flour and coocnut sugar and chia seeds and all healthy things! That will be there for my breakfast tomorrow and hopefully i can start thinking about cooking a bit more this week.
The thought of meat is making me feel sick as well - i had this in my first pregnancy as well i remember. bleurgh.
I'm starving then i eat but can't eat much without feeling sick so end up with loads of leftovers every meal!

Booking in appt tomorrow morning, going to have to fake a vomiting bug for work. Quite excited though, feels like a big milestone!

ExPresidents · 07/05/2017 21:14

Queen I've PM'd you xx

MontyPants · 07/05/2017 21:47

Mmm Unicorns banana loaf sounds lovely. I made a pasta sauce this afternoon, from scratch with whole tomatoes just cooked down until they turned in to a sauce. Lots of basil and garlic, and a bit of red wine (I figured it's allowed as surely the alcohol cooks out). I don't know what's gotten in to me as I'm usually a fan of the unhealthy pre-made sauces. Guess the baby wanted something a bit healthier!

Mrsbluebell17 · 07/05/2017 21:55

So today I've eaten a bacon roll, some weetabix minis and then a Nando's Shock not so healthy but I guess my Nando's was better than a take out we may have had. I can't wait for my fresh fruit to arrive in tomorrow's food shopping.

macsworth · 07/05/2017 21:55

When I said I thought I was beginning to feel better, I was wrong 😩

BeeMama2017 · 07/05/2017 23:00

@peachi82 agh same! I'm taking seven seas and the size of them makes me feel so sick! I'm down to the last 3 though so I'll get some different ones this week and let you know if it makes a difference

Happy birthday @maryshelley it sounds like you were suitably spoiled!

I told my dad today and he was so so thrilled! It's so nice sharing the news, it makes it feel more real doesn't it?

As for food, today I had toast, a croissant, a piece of coffee cake, a bowl of special k and a halloumi wrap. Yay for brown foods and fried cheese!! Promise I'll be more healthy for the bean once this nausea sods off! Confused

Mrsbluebell17 · 07/05/2017 23:57

I've been SO tired all day and now I can't sleep Sad
