Had a scan this morning, oh my God I thought I was going to explode my bladder was so full. She told me to empty some oops. But on a good note baby is healthy and wriggling around. She has put me 12 days ahead of what I thought and I've got my next scan date booked in. No photos though

glastogal · 12/05/2017 14:09

Argh.. I'm gonna spend all DP's savings.. 😈

Thats wonderful news royalsteph!! What is your EDD now? It's so wonderful to see a little wriggler, isn't it?!!

Carlotta82248 · 12/05/2017 14:13

I'm not buying any I don't think, defo want to BF and we live literally seconds from a 24hr Asda so if was needed could always get. I want the Mamas and Papas special edition Liberty print pram, have had my eyes on it for an age! How sad Blush Won't start buying big stuff til after 20/40 I don't think, although I have my first babygrow purchase planned for post 12 week scan.

Lolabee · 12/05/2017 14:14

Thanks glasto Smile

I must confess to also looking at silver cross but tbh can't really decide until I look properly. But front runners are pioneer and wayfarer.

I can't wait to start buying but won't probably around 20 weeks, maybe after the anomaly scan but that's me being completely paranoid.

Anyone else started having weird stretchy pains in their tum? Mine started yesterday and it's a bit bizarre lol. I have a little bump but it's probably not a bump and due to bloat and constipation (tmi but it's pregnancy lol)

Zaberwocky · 12/05/2017 14:14

Steph Grin I remember my auntie weeing on the midwife ... was a beautiful little stream. She was only taking a swab the poor woman! So glad everything's okay though.

Lola I'm a bit angry on your behalf, formula feed if that's what you want to do! Do not let anyone pressure you into anything! I'm buying formula too Blush no one in my family has ever been able to produce enough milk. I like to know there's a back up, just in case.

Zaberwocky · 12/05/2017 14:16

Lola yes to weird stretching. Anyone with a bladder that won't empty properly with one push Grin? Or a sudden surge of discharge at 12:00 exactly?

fishfingerSarnies · 12/05/2017 14:16

I didn't bother with buying bottles when I was planing on breastfeeding even if you're planning on mixed feeding it will be a few weeks until you want to introduce a bottle. It might take trying a few types of bottle to find the "one" that your baby will take so I would buy lots of one type if you do choose to buy some for emergencies.

Lolabee · 12/05/2017 14:16

That's great news royalsteph when are you due now??

My scan is 1st June and I'm impatient already. Got the dreaded blood test Sunday. Hopefully it won't be too traumatic, ah who am I kidding it'll be awful (I have a huge needle phobiaBlush)

Brens13 · 12/05/2017 14:17

Congrats RoyalSteph Smile

Royalsteph · 12/05/2017 14:19

Due date is now 11 Dec brought forward from 23 Dec, so either way we're going to have a December baby if I go overdue.
I was in so much pain and the lady said your bladder is massive, well duh I've just drunk my weight in water

Zaberwocky · 12/05/2017 14:25

I would also like to tell you all, now I'm keeping food down, I'm awaiting the arrival of my first solid poo in weeks Grin

Brens13 · 12/05/2017 14:30

GrinGrin zaber!! This has basically been my conversation with my DH every day..."have you had a poo today", "no not today" Blush Think we're stuck with each other now!

glastogal · 12/05/2017 14:36

Ahhh.. pregnancy sure is unkind to the guts. Constipation is an ever constant friend (or enemy) and it's driving me crazy.

Zaberwocky · 12/05/2017 14:38

Brens you are now obligated to let me know when you go Grin I'll do the same.

I do feel like we should be exchanging photos of our kitchen appliances ... are you lucky enough to own that beautiful blue kitchenaid?

Brens13 · 12/05/2017 14:43

Haha deal zaber

No unfortunately not. I'll be honest that I'm not a baker, though would still love to have it on my work space. We have the blue DeLonghi toaster and kettle. How about you?

Brens13 · 12/05/2017 14:43

(I'm also relieved you weren't suggesting sharing photos of something else....Blush)

MontyPants · 12/05/2017 14:54

So I'm off sick from work. For two reasons.
1: I have a UTI
2: Some in HR has made a mistake and decided my pay has reduced down 5% and they are trying to get me to pay back money I have supposedly been overpaid. So after sending a million and one emails and making a formal complaint, I was feeling so stressed and upset (and on the verge of tears) that I decided I needed to go home.

But now I've noticed some of my pregnancy symptoms are reduced and I'm just so worried I've caused a problem with the baby

Brens13 · 12/05/2017 15:20

Oh Monty that sounds like just what you don't need. Try not to worry though, my symptoms have been a lot less these last couple of days, I'm just hoping everything is ok and it's just hormone fluctuations. Take it easy, make a nest on the sofa with a good boxset and I'm sure the reassuring nausea will be back before you know it!

glastogal · 12/05/2017 16:01

Argh.. letter from GP wanting to discuss results from my urine test. Should I be worried? Because I am.

Lolabee · 12/05/2017 16:09

Worry after you've spoken to him/her Smile won't do you much good to obsess worry about it over the weekend. If it was urgent urgent I doubt they would have sent a letter (assuming they have a contact number for you)

Lolabee · 12/05/2017 16:14

monty work sounds like they are a complete bunch of £€@%$#!!! Let them sort their own mess and too right you should have made a formal complaint.

My symptoms have started to tail off a bit but I'm hoping it's just cause bubs is developing more and not needing to make me feel as sick and exhausted.
Had some really funky dreams the last couple of nights but no idea what they were actually about Confused bizarre

I like brens idea of boxsets 🖒

glastogal · 12/05/2017 16:15

I know you are right Lola - they would have made a bigger effort if it was urgent. Off to a gig at Brixton tonight so that should take my mind of it at least!

Lolabee · 12/05/2017 16:23

Oooooo who are you going to see?
