Zaber this is excellent!! I'm having to really stop myself buying stuff and just can't wait until 12 weeks when I feel I can finally let go. What colour is it to match your kitchen stuff? I would like this too!

And also very interested in chosen pram....I find myself trying to look at the makes of other people's as they're pushing them down the street now Blush

Brens13 · 12/05/2017 13:29

Oh I see it's blue...my kitchen stuff is blue too....what make is it?! Grin

feelingcalledlove · 12/05/2017 13:31

No worries Zaber, it made DH laugh too... And me once I'd found something else to eat!

Turns out it was in the bottom of my handbag - which is quite a good place to keep an emergency flapjack Grin

glastogal · 12/05/2017 13:32

zaber I really want a silver cross pioneer 😍 I went and tested some at mothercare with my mum yesterday and it just stood head an shoulders above the others for me.. but I'm going to the baby show next week so I might still change my mind 😜

TootsyBella84 · 12/05/2017 13:33

So pleased for you Japan lovely pic 😍

Carley27 · 12/05/2017 13:38

Haha brens I'm also trying to steal sneaky looks at peoples prams as they walk by!

Zaberwocky · 12/05/2017 13:41

Ohhhh! Hang on Brens Grin I'll link you!

Brens13 · 12/05/2017 13:42

Ooo I like the sliver cross ones too glasto

carley I'm pretty sure they think I'm staring at the child, but I'm really just thinking how comfy they look!

glastogal · 12/05/2017 13:45

It's so typical I like the pricey ones brens 😳 they are gorgeous though! Luckily my mum offered to contribute so I feel a bit less guilty about wanting to spend all the £££

There you go Brens Grin I've had it all out the box to play with as well.

Oh Glasto ! My MIL has an old one she used to push DH around in ... supposedly everyone thought he was Prince Harry 😂 And she was his nanny! I really want something for running ... yet bus friendly! I plan on not driving during maternity leave so I get lots of exercise Grin

Brens13 · 12/05/2017 13:47

Oh I'm exactly the same glasto, with anything. Then you just can't get them out of your head when you look at more reasonable ones. DH is not one to think too much about the cost of things, and I think I may ashamedly take advantage of this when buying some baby stuff Grin Blush

Zaberwocky · 12/05/2017 13:49

Brens just think of it as that they have a fab resale value Grin

I'm eyeing up a reuseable nappy bundle ... but DH isn't too enthused.

Brens13 · 12/05/2017 13:49

Thanks zaber that would go perfectly in my kitchen too! (I may have bookmarked the page so I can immediately buy it when it feels safe to do so!) Grin

Brens13 · 12/05/2017 13:50

Haha will do zaber - I can come up with an excuse to buy anything hopefully. Those I can't I'll just buy and hide lol.

glastogal · 12/05/2017 13:53

I will buy a 2nd hand jogger for when bubba is a bit older, I think. Plan is I will feed the kid and leave them with DP for some 'daddy time' in the morning while I go running/to the gym. I find the jogging buggies too big for everyday use as I only have a small car 😁

Zaberwocky · 12/05/2017 13:54

Oh go on Brens Grin it's a bloody bargain. As soon as you feel safe, snap one up!

It is pretty good though. It holds other bottles too so if the baby is a fussy little git it doesn't matter Smile also seems sturdy enough to survive me dropping it.

glastogal · 12/05/2017 13:55

Can I ask a dumb question? Do I need bottles? They aren't on my list of things to buy as I'm hoping to BF (would be typical if it doesn't work out) but do I need bottles anyway? I'm such a noob Blush

Brens13 · 12/05/2017 13:58

I'm also hoping to BF glasto but thought I'd want to express as well so that DH can feed if I'm not available for any reason. I have assumed I'd need bottles for this, but all of this is based on absolutely zero research.

Zaberwocky · 12/05/2017 13:59

Glasto honestly, I'd only bother if you want to share feeding with DH/P Smile

I've bought mine so I'm not solely responsible for feeding, so DH or DM/MIL can do their bit too.

Lolabee · 12/05/2017 14:00

glasto I'd get a couple in case you are able to express some feeds. Also they are there as a back up if you can't.

I don't think I want to try bf again personally, my milk didn't come in until dd was 3 days old last time and then pretty much straight away I developed mastitis. OH is probably going to give me a really hard time if I don't try but last time was so horrific and traumatic for both me and dd. For me personally it made me feel like a complete failure even though it works for loads of people

glastogal · 12/05/2017 14:00

I seem to have read stories of women who bought a load of bottles and never touched them, and of ladies that didn't bother then had to panic buy after baby was born.. maybe I should just buy a couple just in case?

Lolabee · 12/05/2017 14:04

Wouldn't hurt just in case Smile

glastogal · 12/05/2017 14:05

Aw Lola Biscuit that's such a shame you felt like that, don't feel pressured if you don't want to do it though. I'm sorry you had a hard time. It's so possible to predict how these things will go. I think I will take your advice just in case x

glastogal · 12/05/2017 14:05

*IMpossible.. (stupid phone)

Zaberwocky · 12/05/2017 14:06

Glasto If you can hold off till September, Sainsbury's generally has a pretty good baby event. You could pick some up pretty cheaply then (along with 1000000 other things ...)
