Eugh bad lower back pain and really panicking as I'm sure I read before that lower back pain can be a bad sign Sad can anyone reassure me?

Welcome stumpy. I had much smaller cup size to start with my mine are still growing now too!

Carlotta and feeling i hope your nausea is gone soon. Enjoy your food Carlotta Smile

Mrsbluebell17 · 11/05/2017 17:06

Carlotta THAT LOOKS SO TASTY!

MummyHenman2be · 11/05/2017 17:09

Evening girls!

Today has been a struggle! I was up until 1:30-2am feeling incredibly nauseas! Up until now I've just been gagging and that got gradually worse until yesterday when it was like BOOOOOOM- nausea!

Anyway, I called in sick to work so I could sleep this morning. Luckily, my boss knows and is very flexible so it's never an issue. I rocked up to work at 2:15 and did the urgent things I had to do. Left at 4:30.

I've only just managed to face some lunch (yes at 5pm) and now curled up on the sofa. DH put pulled pork in the slow cooker this morning and the smell is making me feel Envyso locking myself in the living room until he's home! Think I'll just opt for a jacket potato with cheese for dinner!

9 weeks today. Fingers crossed I get to 3 weeks and will instantly and magically feel amazing! Totally rational, right!?

leighdinglady · 11/05/2017 17:14

Another one that can't stop eating to fend off nausea here. Although this morning our pup ate my entire pain au raisin, resulting in not only a 24 hour vet stay and ridiculous bill, but also me wanting to cry... I was really looking forward to that pastry! Grin

pauseplayrepeat · 11/05/2017 17:23

Evening all. Carlotta that looks delicious! Hope it hits the spot. I'm munching on my daily dose of salt & vinegar crisps, self-prescribed for nausea. Needs must.

macsworth · 11/05/2017 17:38

carley and bluebell I know! When I look back it has gone quickly but a week still seems like so long away!

carlotta that looks amazing!

I've managed to convince DH to go for Nando's tonight! I've not been for years but someone mentioned it on here a few threads back and I've been craving it ever since!

TipTop333 · 11/05/2017 17:46

10+2 today and something has happened that has not happened in weeks and weeks.

I've not eaten for 5 hours! 5 solid hours! I even had a packet of French fries in my bag and didn't fancy them!

Royalsteph · 11/05/2017 17:58

I have a nice little bump going. I can still hide it though which is good for now.
I have to eat to stop nausea, 6 slices of toast for lunch I could have eaten more but stopped myself. I have a scan tomorrow for cramps that have come and gone for two weeks and don't feel like stretching. Can't wait to see baby to put my mind at ease hopefully

Bethany891 · 11/05/2017 18:04

I can't wait for this sickness feeling to pass feel terrible in the evenings only thing that's easing the need to throw up it's ready salty crisps ! Also got a bump think mines due to having two beans had to tell work as I can't hide it any longer I'm only a size 8 and it's so very obvious already at 7 weeks 🙈🙈

Chamonix1 · 11/05/2017 18:44

Hi everyone.
I give up, can't keep up with you all!

Skipped the gym today (meant to go when dd at playschool) and "slept" sort of one of those half sleeps that leave you feeling worse Grin
Cleaned downstairs this pm and did the food shop which is amazing. 10.3 weeks by my makings (booking in apt had me a couple of days behind) and kind of able to do a bit more.
Feeling sick this afternoon and just don't even know what I want to eat. Yoghurt seems to be my new thing. That and toast Hmm
Hope everyone is getting on today. Congratulations and welcome to newcomers! I see we have two twinnies on here now! Exciting stuff.

Wishing everyone a nausea free evening full of wonderful foods and rest!

pauseplayrepeat · 11/05/2017 18:49

TipTop so jealous of your 5 hour stretch! Oh to leave the house without a bag full of snacks!

Mrsbluebell17 · 11/05/2017 19:44

Cham it's reassuring to hear that you get more energy back in the later weeks. I'm 9 weeks today and really feeling the lack of energy!!

Angielka · 11/05/2017 19:51

That is all Wink

GadgetgirlUk · 11/05/2017 20:19

@Angelika - love that!
I'm also part of the eating to stay nausea-free club and also had 6slices of toast for lunch! Am 10+5 and hoping in a couple of weeks I'll feel normal again. I've put on loads of weight but it's around my arse and thighs, so it's fat not baby :( I don't have a little bump yet

Lixon · 11/05/2017 21:03

Eating for more than two and definitely have a bump but all my weight goes to my stomach anyway so pretty sure it's just fat :)

Sorry to hear about your pain au raisin and dog leighdinglady- hope everything is ok by the morning.

Chamonix1 · 11/05/2017 21:44

Bluebell
Yes, I certainly have more most days. 8-9 weeks I honestly felt so exhausted, I said to DH that if the house was burning down I'd consider 5 more minutes in bed Grin

Mrsbluebell17 · 11/05/2017 21:57

That's genuinely good to hear Cham. The exhaustion at 9 weeks now is really challenging. Come 2pm I feel wiped out. Roll on the weekend.

Bisquick · 11/05/2017 23:21

My consultant suggested that it could be the iron levels in my pregnancy vitamin making me nauseous and told me to switch to just folic acid for a few weeks. Let's see if that works!

GadgetgirlUk · 12/05/2017 06:40

@Bisquick, that's interesting, report back, as if it works I might do the same xx

Zaberwocky · 12/05/2017 06:59

I must say I've heard of a lot of people suffering with exhaustion when taking pregnancy vitamins. It scared me off so I'm just taking folic acid and vitamin D Blush

Not that it matters because I'm in bed at 7:30 when I need to take my tablet. That bloody exhausts me!

Mrsbluebell17 · 12/05/2017 07:22

Yeah I've heard of people saying the tablets gave them nausea. I'm only taking folic acid Hmm

Chamonix1 · 12/05/2017 07:22

I took pregnacare vitamins with dd, puked and puked, it was definitely the tablets because when I switched to Vitamin D and folic acid it went.
So far my sickness has been a lot less with this pregnancy and I just take vitamin d and folic acid.
Maybe a coincidence, maybe not!

Thewinedidit · 12/05/2017 07:36

HI. I've mostly just been lurking enjoying all your scans. Just need a bit of reassurance today. Had a lot of upper abdominal pain yesterday but feels very like muscular pain. Woke up this morning and when I wipe after pee I am spotting. I know this can be normal but I will be honest I'm really anxious.

Thewinedidit · 12/05/2017 07:36

I'm 7+5 I should add.

Miami81 · 12/05/2017 07:38

I couldn't take the pregnacare at all, made me feel very constipated, bloated and sick.
Anyone else having trouble sleeping? Went to bed at 9 last night, woke at 1 to pee and then was awake til 4.30, and again at 6.30. Feel so emotional and grumpy now. Was having kind of weird pulling fluttering feelings in near both hip bones all last night as well. Not sure what is going on, assuming stretching pains.
