Mac its driving me BONKERS. I just want to go now, I'm literally doing nothing all day! Though apparently my line manager is the only person who can authorise my notice and isn't here Angry I hate the civil service. Everything has to be so bloody difficult.

TipTop333 · 11/05/2017 11:37

Anyone else got a bump? The same happened last time. BFP -> mega bloat -> bloat hardens and becomes distinctively shaped -> quite obviously pregnant, quite early.

I thought I was hiding it well this time but turns out the students at school have noticed the bump and approached another member of staff and asked if I am pg.

Belly hiding tips for 2 more weeks needed please!

LapinR0se · 11/05/2017 11:41

Yes I have a bump. I am doing the hair and trick and then wearing floaty blouses

LapinR0se · 11/05/2017 11:42

Hair trick = hairband trick

Mrsbluebell17 · 11/05/2017 12:03

Thanks macsworth. Your twelve week scan seems to have come around so quickly to me but I bet it hasn't for you?!
I'll definitely look at some Facebook groups but scared to join anything until we a) know if it's actually twins or not and b) we have told people as I don't want it to go in my timeline that I've joined a new group Smile paranoid Polly over here! Hehe.

My sister in law has some stuff she can give us so as long as we aren't fussy about matching Moses baskets etc, we should get one for free of some of the things.

Time is going so slowly today. Lunch today is tinned ravioli - not exactly nutritious but I saw it in the supermarket last night and just fancied it. I'm eating it now and it's going down far too quickly. Shock should've bought two cans! GrinWink

Mrsbluebell17 · 11/05/2017 12:04

Oh and tiptop I'm getting some slight growth around my lower tummy - when I put weight on it usually goes everywhere but this is just in one place. It's worse in the evenings. DH thinks I'm just getting fat Hmm

Carley27 · 11/05/2017 12:10

Bethany how exciting that you're having twins! And what a lovely scan pic :)

Can't believe it's nearly your 12 week scan Macs - sounds like you've got an excellent Friday coming up next week!

I'm just bloat atm but also loving the hairband trick, and wearing loose tops. My friend bump covered with a scarf (the long floaty type) last year which worked well.

Bluebell so excited for you to find out about the potential twins! The waiting must be awful but not long to go now!

Zaberwocky · 11/05/2017 13:03

Tip YES. Bump is obvious. I'm a size 6/8 though, so I always figured it'd be sooner rather than later. Honestly I've just gone out and bought bigger tops and baggy dresses, to accommodate the new boobage and bump! H&M's strange cuts of clothing have been perfect. I got a few bits for around £30 just to tide me over.

Other than that, avoid everyone Grin

Bisquick · 11/05/2017 13:08

I have a bloat-belly already, and I'm only 7weeks and a bit. I have no abs to speak of though, so kinda expected it. Wearing loose dresses, waterfall cardigan and floaty scarves. Got quite a few useful tips on hiding pregnancy over in the Style & Beauty section.

Zaberwocky · 11/05/2017 13:27

The lady next to me has a fan on blowing directly at me Angry she can bloody see it is too. It's whistling too.

AIBU to rip her head off and mount it on the fan?

Mrsbluebell17 · 11/05/2017 13:34

Oh Zaber you are not having a great day are you? Sad

Brens13 · 11/05/2017 13:34

No you're not. My boss (the CEO) wouldn't stop whistling earlier, I nearly threw my banana at him. I compromised by just telling him it was really annoying....Blush

MontyPants · 11/05/2017 13:39

Oh Zaber sounds like you're having a pretty rubbish day at work. If someone pointed a fan at me I would definitely rip their head off. I am known as the dragon at work though....!

MontyPants · 11/05/2017 13:42

I've just had a lovely morning with the GP as I think I've got a UTI. My urine sample didn't show anything though, so I had to have vaginal swabs. Joy. Waiting for the results next week. Got some antibiotics. Of course it's just left me feeling very worried about baby. Just hoping everything is ok.

Zaberwocky · 11/05/2017 13:47

😂 I think it's just me. I actually feel more full of hate and rage now that I know I'm leaving!

Equally it's just been me, my bucket and DH at home the last few days. Well, DH popping in and out. So I've been enjoying the peace!

I have however realised (hoping) if I'm very lovely to the residents and my new job will they teach me how to knit baby things Grin

Zaberwocky · 11/05/2017 13:48

And Monty swans are vile. You have my sympathy! I do know what you mean though, I've been constantly feeling like I've got a UTI. I'm blaming my uterus, it's squashing my bladder!

Zaberwocky · 11/05/2017 13:56

SWABS! Swans are quite mean too though ... but not vile!

The real issue I think with my irritation is boredom. I have nothing to do, so I'm working on an essay I'm not in the mood to write. How's everyone else's day going?

Mrsbluebell17 · 11/05/2017 13:57

I'm having a 'can't stop eating' afternoon. I was fine this morning. But I'm not now. Also got a really sore throat. Hoping I'm not coming down with anything as I know I won't be able to take anything for it Confused

Hope you're ok Monty.

Mrsbluebell17 · 11/05/2017 13:57

Are you studying Zaber as well as working?

Zaberwocky · 11/05/2017 14:11

Oh Blue :( hopefully it's just a touch of hay fever!

And yes, studying part time. And volunteering Grin I'm attempting to squeeze everything in. I took up both so I didn't end up out of touch/unemployable when I couldn't get anything in my field when we moved here. It's the sort of thing where if you cant prove you have tried to stay up to date, you're pretty much finished.

I'm honestly hoping I can get this out of the way before December, I've only got 5 modules left but I'm running out of steam!

Zaberwocky · 11/05/2017 14:12

And despite my busy life I find at least a few hours in the day to mumsnet Grin

Carlotta82248 · 11/05/2017 15:50

Morning! Nausea when I wake up post nights is urrrrgggghhhhh! Could sleep the clock round today, but must get up and eat! Think I'll have poached eggs, veggie sausage and tomatoes on toast....if someone could just pop in and make it for me that would be grand! X

feelingcalledlove · 11/05/2017 16:07

Carlotta I feel your pain... Nausea is much worse in the afternoons/evenings for me. Wish I had someone on hand to cook exactly what I fancy when I want it... Rarely have the urge to eat and the energy to cook at the same time!

StumpyScot92 · 11/05/2017 16:20

Hello, bit of a late joiner here but I'm due around 6th of December, first time parent, and thought I'd pop in!

Does anyone know when your boobs stop swelling because I'm almost up two cup sizes already and I was a 34F to start with.. if it keeps going at this rate I'm going to need hammocks by December Blush

Carlotta82248 · 11/05/2017 16:52

Post nights feed :) was very nice!
