I haven't been to my exercise class since finding out as instructor wanted me to at least check with mw I am not high risk. Then on Monday when I could have gone back I had the bleed scare.

Feel fat and bleurgh atm even though I'm keeping activish by walking.

Angielka · 10/05/2017 19:12

Yes tootsy! My younger DD is 4 so it's even ages... I've been resisting the urge to get the cloth nappies out of the boxes in the garage and count them, in case we need a few more Hmm

Lovely scan zaberwocky! Really baby like Grin got to wait a week and a couple of days for the next one. SO impatient!

As for exercise Blush took up running a couple of years ago, lost 8kg and exercised regularly doing home workouts etc but since the nausea started I've stopped even cycling to work, scared of falling off or needing to puke in the road. Hoping I get my bum in gear for the second trimester... Hmm

TootsyBella84 · 10/05/2017 19:13

Yes Donna I got the grey one! I wasn't too keen on the others. I need to see about pulling all of mine out to see what I still have, probably shouldn't be buying more but I do love a fluffy bum 😂
You can definitely never have too many carriers 😍😍

Nobody should feel guilty about their lack of excercise, the most I do currently is climb up the stairs to bed 😂 I've got a tomtom watch and I took it off a few weeks back, I'd be too embarrassed to even bother tracking my steps. I'm hoping to get swimming or walking more once this horrible sickness passes. Right now the slightest activity makes me feel sick or like I'm going to pass out. Well done all who are still keeping active!

TootsyBella84 · 10/05/2017 19:15

Angeilka you sound like me! I was addicted to buying them when my littlest was in nappies 🙈 I did accidentally buy a couple last week during real nappy week. I love a bargain lol!

pauseplayrepeat · 10/05/2017 19:42

I wish I felt well enough to exercise. Pre pregnancy I loved hot yoga, went 3-4 times a week, and running. I stopped hot yoga right away (bit risky in pregnancy), but miss it so much. Hoping I can get back to regular yoga at 12 weeks, when most teachers are happy to teach pregnant women. That's if I don't feel so dizzy and sick that it's not worth it. Must get my arse to the pool for a swim at least soon so I don't feel like a complete blob!

Lolabee · 10/05/2017 20:08

I think I'm gonna hang out on here primarily for a while until my inner sarcastic b*tch calms herself down (could be hormones or just general tired cranky)

Was reading over on the pregnancy forum a few threads and 1 after the other it's "what do you think it is" threads......... inner b*tch is very much wanting to respond "a baby".....
See sarcasm at its finest right there.... definitely should NOT be allowed out in public for a little while

(Go on and have a go at me, it's very much a tongue in cheek post where I've realised my hormones are playing up and I know in my position I might be wanting to find out in a few weeks and someone equally sarcastic may be having a hard time holding the responses back)Blush

Zaberwocky · 10/05/2017 20:20

Lola Grin you're far from alone. I want to tell people to just fark off 99.9% of the time. Because they're irritating.

I am slightly less irritable now that I have a bra that is accomodating me. T'was a good investment.

ScotsLamb · 10/05/2017 20:21

Love that Lolabee. My type of comments!!

Zaberwocky · 10/05/2017 20:21

I would say it's putting me off telling people. We're doing it ok the 28th 😪 I just can't be bothered with all the well meaning advice/wisdom/irritating questions. Hormones are weird. Don't feel bad Lola!

ScotsLamb · 10/05/2017 20:22

Zaber pretty sure when my pupils find out I'm pregnant they will all day "Oh we know. She's been a grumpy mare for months"

Lolabee · 10/05/2017 20:29

I have a couple of times seen OH look at me as if trying to figure out what mood I'm inGrinHmm
It's how I'd imagine him approaching a toddler in full on temper tantrum mode..... hands up in surrender slowly edging into the room lol

In all honesty I'm not that bad. Just finding the funny side of my irritable ness and changing hormonal levels, if I didn't know I am pg I would think I needed to be mentally assessed.......

Beardy1 · 10/05/2017 20:39

lola I'm there with you about looking like I might need to be mentally assessed. My moods are horrific. My dh has taken to hiding at times for safety.

Southy84 · 10/05/2017 20:44

Hi everyone, feel a bit bad I joined in last week then life got a bit hectic and haven't had a chance to come back on til now, I'm also feeling the effects of some major mood swings, dh thinks my "stroppy" levels have gone from around a 2 to a hundred since Ive been pregnant (thing is I know I'm being unreasonably stroppy but I just can't help myself) I finally got referred to a midwife last week, still haven't heard from anyone yet and I go on holiday next week for two weeks, so I'm pretty sure that I won't have a booking in appointment at all at this rate as by the time I get back from my holiday I will be nearly 12 weeks. Ive got to the point where I just feel too tired to care Hmm so lovely to see everyone's scan pictures, I have booked in for a private scan tomorrow afternoon and feeling a bit nervous, hope everything's ok.

Mrsbluebell17 · 10/05/2017 20:52

Lola I've had moments like that too.

South hope your scan goes well tomorrow. Let us know how you get on.

I'll be 9 weeks tomorrow. Yay Smile

I'm in bed, shattered. Thankfully no driving for me tomorrow so I'll hopefully be a little more rested. Let's hope I can sleep tonight!

Lolabee · 10/05/2017 20:53

Fingers crossed for you southy

Mood swings are just adorable aren't they Grin

Southy84 · 10/05/2017 21:03

Thank you both, I think I'm just panicking as it was a scan for reassurance, now I'm worried if something is wrong I won't have time for another scan/to speak to a dr before our holiday. I'm such a worrier, will of course come and update you all tomorrow

GadgetgirlUk · 10/05/2017 21:11

@Zaber, what a lovely scan pic xxx
@Southy good Luck for you scan

Mrsbluebell17 · 10/05/2017 21:12

Southy I was the same before ours. Booked it for reassurance for two days before I went away with work and then ended up worrying about it more as it was so close to the trip. Try not to worry.

Carley27 · 10/05/2017 21:23

I've mainly been able to keep up my exercise regime but I'm definitely not pushing it as hard and listening to my body. Those not feeling up to exercise at the moment shouldn't be feeling guilty, I don't even know how you're coping with work, children, life in general when suffering with tiredness, nausea etc!

Good luck for tomorrow Southy!

Haha zaber I've had the nipple situation too! Your scan pic is lovely - definitely looking baby-like now :)

Annie1290 · 10/05/2017 21:30

I can't even bear to think about exercise, walking the puppy is a challenge at the moment.
Had an early scan today and so so pleased. Put me back a few days but couldn't care less as she said all looks perfect with the heartbeat ❤️

Carley27 · 10/05/2017 21:38

Aww how lovely Annie! Glad all went well.

Southy84 · 10/05/2017 22:42

There's definitely no stopping the worry is there MrsBluebell

Thanks carley

Lovely scan pic annie Smile

Bethany891 · 10/05/2017 22:43

Hi can I also be added to Fb group I'm 6week 5 days and just found out we're expecting twins !!! 😲👶👶 email is [email protected] xx

Mrsbluebell17 · 11/05/2017 02:49

Hey bethany!
Great news on the twins. I'm not sure if you've seen my previous posts but we had an early scan and have to go back for a rescan this weekend to find out if it's mono-mono twins as the sonographer thought there were two in one sac and one placenta!

Are yours fraternal twins? Do you have any family history of twins? Congratulations. Very exciting news isn't it.

How are you feeling?

Annie that's a lovely scan, glad all is well.

For some reason I'm wide awake at 2am again! Confused

Carlotta82248 · 11/05/2017 03:19

I'm not an exerciser pre pregnancy so you can imagine my current routine is minimal. Have lost 5lb since finding out though as trying to keep my bmi down, hoping to start walking and swimming after this spell of nights when I think staying up all night is quite enough! My mood swings are amazing, my OH was annoying me soooo much before I left for work last night, by doing nothing Blush
