My stomach looks huge today Blush this bloating is crazy!

Brens13 · 09/05/2017 13:53

I've just eaten a massive slice of Brownie Cake (properly huge) and now feel quite sick. I'd probably had enough after a quarter of it but I couldn't stop. Hoping that stops the pregnancy-related queasiness for at least a couple of hours though.

Lolabee · 09/05/2017 14:40

I miss brownies, and chocolate fudge cake, and rocky road and most other forms of chocolate.

Bisquick · 09/05/2017 14:42

Oh man, I am so badly craving a squidy brownie right now. Cake

DoctorDonnaNoble · 09/05/2017 14:45

I may have just had a choccy donut. It hit the spot good and proper.

Brens13 · 09/05/2017 14:47

Yeah I do feel a little guilty about the chocolate, but I have never drunk tea or coffee so hoping the one-off bit of caffeine won't matter. And quite frankly it's made me feel so full I don't think I'll want anymore chocolate for weeks!

Lolabee · 09/05/2017 14:53

I'm silently begging my body not to crave any form of chocolate. It's been a migraine trigger for years but I've had some great meds to counteract them. Dr confirmed this morning that the best I can do now for a migraine while pregnant is Paracetamol and go to bed in a dark room with a bucket Grin

LapinR0se · 09/05/2017 15:02

It's weird, I have absolute no desire to eat chocolate or biscuits at all. I just want salty things

Brens13 · 09/05/2017 15:07

Lapin I too am not really craving sweet things, but at the weekend a friend told me this place did the best brownies and I happened to be walking past and have zero will power so caved.

Otherwise I am generally only craving BBQ mini cheddars (which is not unusual, I love them) which thankfully they have just started selling by the multipack in my local Morrisons Grin

Carlotta82248 · 09/05/2017 15:26

I had a chocolate muffin as I bought a pack of two for the MW coming :) I'm more a savoury girl too or kiddy sweets over chocolate. I am totally off tea and coffee though, especially coffee, which I usually drink strong and black, couldn't think of anything worse at the moment!

Peachi82 · 09/05/2017 15:46

I just had a cream egg 😊
I also stopped drinking coffee, which also means I drunk less milk now... Not sure how to compensate this.
Bit over an hour to go, then I can leave... Can't wait to go home.

Lolabee · 09/05/2017 15:50

Banana milkshake yum

macsworth · 09/05/2017 16:02

BBQ mini cheddars!!! I need these now!!!

Brens13 · 09/05/2017 16:07

Oh Lola I've been wanting a milkshake all day!

Haha mac get yourself to Morrisons! The only other place I've got them is on a train or at the station.

Zaberwocky · 09/05/2017 16:17

You all have fun food Envy

I have cucumber and pepper sticks!

TootsyBella84 · 09/05/2017 16:17

All booked in with the midwife, back next week for bloods etc. Hurrah! She wants me to see a consultant, Booooo!! X

Carlotta82248 · 09/05/2017 16:23

I'm nights tonight, currently lying in bed after a little nap not wanting to move Sad

Chamonix1 · 09/05/2017 16:27

Hi everyone. Struggling to keep up with you chatter boxes !
Hope everyone is okay and feeling slightly better.
I've had my booking in apt, consultant led because I'm fat and my thyroid doesn't work but hey ho.
She was actually really positive which was nice as was worried before hand I'd get a grilling!
Sat in the sun this afternoon; it's beautiful. Grin

Zaberwocky · 09/05/2017 16:30

Has anyone thought about gender blood tests!? £169 to combat my curiosity 😂 I'm oddly tempted.

Bisquick · 09/05/2017 16:34

Lixon I'm planning to have either the Harmony or Panorama test done soon as well. I went to the FMC last time, they were so very thorough and lovely! I think my consultant also does them now so might just stick with him.

Hadn't heard of gender blood tests Zaber - how early do they work? Mind you, if I end up doing NIPT then we can find out by 11-12 weeks anyway via those blood tests.

Lolabee · 09/05/2017 16:37

zaber I have celery and carrot sticks in the fridge but they will probably stay there for today lol.

Brens13 · 09/05/2017 16:44

Yep zaber my lunch was officially cucumber and celery sticks and a couple of cherry tomatoes... Hence my zero will power for the brownie lol. Have hockey tonight tho so should run (waddle) some of it off!

Zaberwocky · 09/05/2017 16:55

I'm not too sure I'll get one 😂 I just read it! I need to research more... beyond the price and 98% accuracy! They work from 9 weeks apparently.

Brens and Lola I just feel like now I'm keeping food down I need to eat vegetables Grin I'd love to binge on anything but!

Zaberwocky · 09/05/2017 16:58

I've managed to avoid it for years Grin but I'm finally watching One Born Every Minute.

I'm very excited that I may get to play with a space hopper while in labour!

Brens13 · 09/05/2017 17:13

Lol zaber I love one born. I'm planning on saving up all the most screamy or high maintenance mums for DH to watch so he thinks I'm a dream on the day Grin
