Fattycowagain -that's definitely a line - congratulations! Hopefully this one sticks, sorry to hear about previous mc.

Cookie I've gone mad looking at one of those before - can you try a cb digital?

Lenska999 · 05/05/2017 20:12

Hey everyone, hope you can hand me a grip/give me some sympathy.

Had an emotional meltdown of epic proportions today at work, in the middle of a highly charged meeting, embarrassed myself horribly and was in such a state I had to tell some folk I am pregnant. Not what I had planned given I'm only 5 weeks.

Sobbed uncontrollably for about 2 hours and now feel like a right nugget Blush

I don't remember this from last time round!

Anyone else done similar? Please tell me think I'm not the only one!

Hotpinkangel19 · 05/05/2017 21:07

@Lenska999 Ah bless you xx FlowersI'm 6 weeks and am crying at everything at the moment. My mum only has weeks left, and I'm heartbroken. It's hormones, doesn't make you feel better though does it Xx

Lenska999 · 05/05/2017 21:13

So sorry to hear about your mum hotpink Flowers for you. That must be really tough.

Just so overwhelming, came out of nowhere and when the floodgates opened that was it.

I'm snuggled in bed with my snoring 3 year old and MN which is helping Smile

StylishDuck · 05/05/2017 21:44

Kilicat when I was pregnant with my DD (PFB) I didn't know you were meant to just phone up so I booked a GP appointment, turned up, announced I was pregnant and was met with a slight pause, a "congratulations" and then a leaflet was passed to me with the number on it. Shortest appointment ever! And I felt terrible for wasting his time Blush

millsbynight · 05/05/2017 21:50

My god hotpink so sorry to hear about your mum. That's so heartbreaking Flowers

StylishDuck · 05/05/2017 21:55

Hotpink I'm so sorry, I hadn't read your post when I posted there.

I'm so sorry about your mum Flowers

Hotpinkangel19 · 05/05/2017 22:30

Fattycowagain · 06/05/2017 09:11

Darker line this morning! Grin

January 2018 babies!
GiraffesCantDoMentalArithmetic · 06/05/2017 09:52

I am 4+4 and finally got a line as dark as the control line this morning on an internet cheapies test.

I had terrible cramps all night and went to the loo about 5 times convinced I would see blood! I'm living on nerves at the moment... Can't wait to get far enough along to do a scan.

My DH is very distant about the pregnancy at the moment. He really wants a 3rd dc but I think the previous mcs have really upset him. We had a row last night about this being a "proper" pregnancy even though it's early days. Anyone having similar?

Thingymaboob · 06/05/2017 10:10

Hi giraffes. I am also 4+4. You DH sounds similar to mine. I probably can't offer much advice as I am also freaked due to previous miscarriage. E.g. I fed a load of birds yesterday (bird feeders hanging from a tree in my office garden). I had to lean into a load of bushes and lots of pigeons hang around there. I then washed my hands but then freaked later on that some bird mess could have brushed onto my uniform and I could have accidentally ingested it. Was googling bird faeces all last night. I was also monitored last MC for ectopic (? Something I'm right Fallopian tube). It seemed to resolve itself so am freaked about every twinge. I'm also worried that last time I had a lot of implantation bleeding. I haven't had any this time which makes me worried that I've not implanted into my womb!!! Aaaaaaaargh. I think I need a good slap!

rabbitstail · 06/05/2017 10:16

Hey Parsnips, congratulations! Is the care different out there?

If you've had an mc in the past your bound to be nervous...I'm feeling a little neurotic but trying not to google every symptom!

Hotpinkangel19 · 06/05/2017 10:26

@GiraffesCantDoMentalArithmetic I'm the other way round, DH is so excited, I'm stepping back as I'm worried x

Waitingonasmile · 06/05/2017 10:44

Lovely line fattycow

Another nervous one here. The spotting is so light and never red but it still makes me worried. I had this in my last pregnancy but a few weeks later but still not reassured. When did you all get 2-3 weeks on a Clearblue digital? I'm 4 weeks today and thought I would try Monday and hopefully weeks have progressed. I know I need to stop poas but I can't

Fattycowagain · 06/05/2017 11:07

Clearblue digital are notorious for getting it wrong, so I'm not bothering with those!

Fattycowagain · 06/05/2017 11:45

Who would like to join a secret Facebook group? If so, I wouldn't mind setting it up and anyone wishing to join can send me a PM so I can add them.
The group would be completely secret, not searchable and nobody would know you are a member. Anybody interested?

ndo4000 · 06/05/2017 11:46

Hi everyone! I just got my bfp this morning, so thought I would say hello! Smile

rememberpurpleronnie · 06/05/2017 12:17

Waiting- I don't think the dates on the clear blue digital are the number of weeks since your last period (as a pregnancy is dated) but the number of weeks since conception? My EDD is the 8th Jan and I got 1-2 weeks on a clear blue digital 5 days ago xx

WLMcI · 06/05/2017 12:25

Hello all newbies! I have had a couple of mornings with dodgy tummy, which I didn't have with my last pg. Also the constipation is new this time, fun times...It's reassuring I guess that this pg feels so different from the one that ended in MC, even if the symptoms aren't overly comfortable! Also, at 6+2 I FINALLY have sore boobs and they are slightly bigger, I swear (mine are so minuscule to begin with that any change looks like a big change lol! Grin)

Fattycow (I hate having to call you that, sorry!) I'm not sure about FB. If I join then surely everyone in the group sees me right? So posts are no longer anonymous within the group, and god forbid you know someone who knows someone... Maybe after 12 weeks when I would be telling everyone on FB anyway, but for now I think I'm more into the MN threads and I hope everyone continues to use them if they also do FB Smile.

Waitingonasmile · 06/05/2017 12:35

Yip rememberpurple I know they count from conception but my EDD is 13th Jan and I got 1-2 weeks 4 days ago(Tue). I really just like checking to see if hormone is increasing I know it's not exact. I do know I should leave well alone and stop testing though Grin

Sophsta · 06/05/2017 13:07

Hi all, may I join?

Got my BFP on Tuesday and has only just started to sink in! I'm 5+1 and got an edd of between 5th Jan and 8th Jan (different calculators). Anyone else symptom less at the moment? It's making me a little paranoid.

I do have a massive cold at the moment so maybe they're hiding behind that?

Hotpinkangel19 · 06/05/2017 13:42

@Waitingonasmile I am still testing daily and I'm 6w 2d going by LMP 🙈 I got 1-2 on a CBD on 27th March and 2-3 on the 30th March. So 12 and 15 DPO. Really need to see the 3+ though..... x

SJ1989 · 06/05/2017 14:16

WLMcI I'm 5+4 will be 6 when I see the midwife in Tuesday, the doc said I will need an early scan as I have two wombs but 1 cervix so class as high risk :-/

ifeellikechickentonight · 06/05/2017 14:36

Hi all, haven't been on here for a while as busy packing the house up ahead of our move on Friday! It's a good distraction from the constant early pregnancy symptom spotting but it's raising some excited but anxious emotions getting DD's Moses basket and tiny baby clothes out of the loft!

Welcome to all the newbies and big congrats on BFPs

Fattycow great line. I'd be interested in a fb group... assuming I don't know any of you IRL!

Hotpink I'm so sorry about your mum Flowers

I'm getting the groupon for an early scan at the womb with a view clinic in Hatfield, Herts at 8 weeks ish. A few people on here have mentioned they're getting it too, I wondered if the rest of you would be travelling a distance to get to Hatfield because it's a good offer or if any of you live nearby? I live in that part of the world, not Hatfield but a nearby town, so I'm just interested to see if there are other Herts mums on here

sarahmags · 06/05/2017 16:06

Ifeellike I'm a Herts mum! Also don't live in Hatfield, but in a nearby town.

I've been referred to the EPU due to a previous ectopic so I get an early scan anyway, but would definitely be interested in the Hatfield place if not.
