How frightening hotpinkangel. I really hope everything is ok.Flowers

Newhere123 · 05/05/2017 13:03

Had an early scan this morning, although I'm supposed to be 6 weeks tomorrow, the lady said it looked quite small for 6 weeks, so more like 5-6 weeks?

All looked good though, could see the pregnancy sac and a tiny bean with a heartbeat... Easter Smile

A follow up scan is now scheduled in 3 weeks, so hopefully be able to see more.. xx

sallywiththegoodhurr · 05/05/2017 13:15

Glad all was well @Newhere123
When I had my early scan in my last pregnancy they put me back about 6 days (may of been 7) but then put me forward again at my 12 week scan so try not to worry Smile

millsbynight · 05/05/2017 13:25

Oh hotpink! Thinking of you. Let us know how you get on.

Good news newhere :)

rabbitstail · 05/05/2017 14:28

I hope all is ok hotpink....fingers crossed for you.

Good to here some good news newhere and that you get another peek at your little bean soon.

I've just spoken to the midwife team and hoping for a booking in next week!!

Newhere123 · 05/05/2017 14:38

Thanks girls

sallywiththegoodhurr thank you for the reassurance, guess will just see what they say next scan..

rabbitstail · 05/05/2017 17:52

I'm 5 wks...hopefully going for a booking in nxt thur.

You'll be able to see so much more in 3 wks!

Hotpinkangel19 · 05/05/2017 17:54

Thank you :-) it's muscular apparently, so relieved. Luckily I saw the GP who is also the physio for our city's football team so he knows what he's talking about! So warm baths, apply heat and rest. @Newhere123 Glad your scan went well xxx

Fattycowagain · 05/05/2017 17:55

I think I'm allowed to join in? Got this this morning!

SJ I would presume the scan will be separate from the MW visit, but how far along are you? An "early" scan can be anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks, depends on what the GP means! Newhere how amazing to see a heartbeat already! Great news!

cowagain welcome and congratulations! How far along are you?

I'm 6+1 and I had a bit of an iffy tummy this morning, which is actually a good sign in my books as I haven't got many other symptoms! I had been bloated and at times constipated for the past week so it makes a change of pace at least lol! Blush

Fattycowagain · 05/05/2017 18:22

I would be 4+2 today. Bit scared, as I miscarried on New Year's Day at 7 weeks... But that test shows a line, doesn't it? I don't really dare to believe it!

jellypi3 · 05/05/2017 18:30

Anyone else really crampy? My back and belly are cramping like before AF.

Also had teeny bits of brown spotting. Bit worried now.

ifeellikechickentonight · 05/05/2017 18:35

I'm quite crampy in my back and an occasional mild stabbing pain in my left ovary. Spotting in early pregnancy is really common, I had it with my now 2yo DD at about 5 weeks pg. Brown blood is old blood so it's less worrying than bright red spotting, although I understand that there isn't much that can stop you worrying this early in pregnancy!

Waitingonasmile · 05/05/2017 18:36

Congrats cowagain

jelly I had brown spotting before I got BFP and have had small amounts of pink everyday so totally understand your worry. Google seems to say it is very normal. I had horrific cramps with my last pregnancy and everything was ok if that's any reassurance

jellypi3 · 05/05/2017 18:38

I remember spotting with my DD but don't remember the cramps being so bad. It's such a crap waiting game!

Fattycowagain · 05/05/2017 18:42

I had loads of cramps with my eldest!
Spotting is quite normal, my midwife says 1 in 5 women have it.

Cookie1831 · 05/05/2017 18:50

Somebody please tell me I am insane and imagining things, so I had spotting Monday Tuesday had a positive that turned negative and negative bloods, since then I have continued to feel weird really sore boobs no further bleeding and cervix is high and soft just did a test on really dilute not held wee to just shut myself up and got this test I am probably line eyed but tell me this is negative!

sallywiththegoodhurr · 05/05/2017 19:09

@Cookie1831 I can definitely see something!

Waitingonasmile · 05/05/2017 19:20

Fingers crossed for you cookie but I would use another type of test. I've had what I thought were lines on them and they were not BFP. Good luck

Cookie1831 · 05/05/2017 19:24

I am getting a digital for the morning as am meant to be getting very very drunk tomorrow night!!

millsbynight · 05/05/2017 19:46

How far along are you supposed to be now cookie? I'd expect a lot darker line by now past the 5w mark. I've had CPs before so I don't want to offer you false hope or send your anxiety through the roof like I did during my CPs. Could you go get a blood test to check your hcg levels? They are very accurate and could give you a good understanding of what's going on. Failing that, a trip to EPU? Here was my night time wee FRER about 3 or 4 days ago.... test line is so dark it's pulling dye from the co tell line Shock

I'm 5+4 today. Nervous as I have no symptoms and I'm no longer super tired during the day but boobs have exploded and I'm in that awkward stage of being too big for my normal bras and too small for my maternity bras.

millsbynight · 05/05/2017 19:48

co tell = control Blush

Cookie1831 · 05/05/2017 19:58

I am only cd29 so even if I was pregnant would be 4 weeks at most! That is a great line x

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 05/05/2017 20:06

Can I join please - EDD 11 January. I'm 4+1 today. I live in Dubai so called the docs and I'm having my first appt tomorrow. Not sure what to expect.

Kilicat · 05/05/2017 20:07

Mumoftheark - I was hoping to avoid the pointless GP appointment but they wouldn't give me the midwife number over the phone so it's looking inevitable. Really don't want to take any time off work though that's unnecessary! StylishDuck - seems like a much better system in Scotland!
