The Facebook group is slowly growing. Please message me your email if you want to join. It is totally secret!

tinywithtoes · 17/05/2017 21:33

@Fattycowagain I don't know how to pm ?

FromHackneyWithLove · 17/05/2017 21:37

@Fattycowagain I'd love to join the FB group... but I also can't work out how to message you! I'm using the mumsnet talk app and I don't seem to have an option for PMs Confused

Fattycowagain · 17/05/2017 21:41

Sent you both a message!

FromHackneyWithLove · 17/05/2017 22:10

Woop woop! I'm in!! Thanks a million. Hope to see lots of you on there when you're ready... it's a bit easier to keep up with! Smile

acquiescence · 17/05/2017 22:14

Hi all

I am 5 weeks by my period date, just found out. This is my second pregnancy, I have a 17 month old. I'm feeling happy as we were previously told we would not conceive naturally, but also lots of mixed emotions! Guessing that's normal?

Hope everyone is feeling ok. No symptoms here yet aside from tiredness and hunger.

chocolateshortcake · 17/05/2017 22:38

@Fattycowagain please forgive my stupidness I sent you the wrong email address! Sorry!

Fattycowagain · 17/05/2017 22:42

That's okay. Let's blame baby brain! Wink

chocolateshortcake · 17/05/2017 22:48

Haha I don't need any help in the baby brain department. I would forget my own head if it wasn't attached. Thankyou :)

FromHackneyWithLove · 17/05/2017 23:03

@acquiescence wow that's amazing! We have similar backstories... took me 2 yrs to conceive DD who is now also 17 months, never thought I would fall pregnant by mistake! But seems I have! Mixed feelings here too but how lucky are we, at the same time... Smile

Train1 · 17/05/2017 23:06

Great news in the heartbeats at the scans!!

I got through the weekend without anyone realising but dear lord I am tired, can I sleep? No!!
Also, everything is really itchy. Itchy nipples is not a good feeling!!!

Ndt90 · 18/05/2017 04:16

@eva30 yeah its alot .... my sisters baby just turned 7 months.. so i know its gonna be an adventure ..

[Blush] no birth control

Ndt90 · 18/05/2017 04:19

@WLMcl thanks

ifeellikechickentonight · 18/05/2017 06:37

summerhopin I'm the same, have a bit of a tum so for me the 12 week mark is a milestone because it means not having to hold my tummy muscles in any more, let the flab go free Grin I'm lucky that I had a lovely round bump last time so I looked properly pregnant from 14 weeks ish, rather than just extra fat! Looking forward to the bump stage again! And the excuse to go maternity shopping, have had a sneaky peek on asos even though I promised myself I wouldn't look until I'm further along as so scared of jinxing it

Glad to hear scans have gone well for ladies who have had them. Mine is on Wednesday when I'll be 7+3 by dates.

My top pregnancy book recommendation is Expecting Better by Emily Oster. It's American so not everything applies completely (even if you buy the UK edition) but it is great if you like to know the evidence behind all the random pregnancy advice you get given, from "don't eat Brie" to "epidurals lead to more caesareans"

I had to get out of bed at 6.15am due to feeling nauseous! Need to keep some crackers or something on my bedside table!

Hi ndt bit of a shock! How are you feeling about it?

Thingymaboob · 18/05/2017 07:01

@ifeellikechickentonight
I also woke at 6am feeling nauseous. Was actually sick for the first time this morning. I'm 6+1. Urgh. Brilliant!Confused

Neavesa · 18/05/2017 07:14

I did another clear blue digi this morning and it's still reading as 1-2 weeks Sad

DooWhaaDiddy · 18/05/2017 07:33

Hello, may I join? I'm 4+2 and it's my second child I have a DS (4). This time round I keep getting very slight cramps on and off and don't remember this last time. Anyone else had this?

neavesa I really wouldn't worry, those things are really a guestamate and will make you paranoid

Waitingonasmile · 18/05/2017 07:50

Naevesa try not to panic. I think the HCG levels can vary lots. Are non digital tests still nice and dark? Has your test ever gone up from 1-2?

ImBreakingBad · 18/05/2017 08:04

@fattycowagain I'm wanting to join the FB chat! How do I mail you?

The tiredness has hit me horrendously today. I can barely keep my eyes open!

Neavesa · 18/05/2017 08:05

Hi waitingonasmile the non digital ones have all had fairly faint lines since first testing on the 7th (one day after due on) they have all stayed pretty much the same colour (ic and cb).
@doowhaadiddy that's just what DH said he seems to think they are a con to make you buy more.

Ndt90 · 18/05/2017 08:07

Morning ladies , is it too early to wanna go pee all the time .. coz for the last two weeks before i found out ... thats whats been happening to me

Ndt90 · 18/05/2017 08:09

@Summerhopin we didnt plan it and have only been together for 5 months ... it was something for the future

DooWhaaDiddy · 18/05/2017 08:10

Neavesa I did that with my first DC and you will stress yourself. Maybe give it a week

DooWhaaDiddy · 18/05/2017 08:11

Ntd not too early, it was from the off with me last time. Get use to it x

Ndt90 · 18/05/2017 08:20

Lol yay @doowhaadiddy
