@SandyAmazon Ring 111. Always best to get advice. Hopefully nothing xx sending hugs x

Maybebaby2 · 11/05/2017 17:44

Bethany congratulations on the twins! I would love to have twins too, they are in the family so I could be in with a chance!

Welcome isambardo and congratulations!

sandy I get ibs which feels like what your describing, do you think it could be something like that? Maybe try a peppermint tea as I find that helps to ease it.

jellypi3 · 11/05/2017 18:03

I get trapped wind bad when pregnant and it hurts like hell.

Anyone else on number 2+ who had a difficult birth last time, do you know if that puts you in a high risk cat?

Bethany891 · 11/05/2017 18:10

@rabbitstail my daughter is 10 and my step son is 5 so will be nice to have two very close as we've got 5 years on ours just made appt with the architect for tomorrow fingers crossed he thinks we can extend so we don't have to move !

Bethany891 · 11/05/2017 18:11

@Maybebaby2 aww that would be lovely when is your scan for ?

ImBreakingBad · 11/05/2017 18:13

Has anyone got the bloat already? I feel as if I'm about to burst and I actually STINK. It's vile. Don't judge me Grin.

I got a call saying to go back to the early pregnancy unit next week as they are understaffed and there's a long wait. My very dark pregnancy tests are keeping me sane!

Bethany891 · 11/05/2017 18:13

@PurplePoppySeed I have heard sickness is a lot worse with twin pregnancies iv not been sick but I'm definitely feeling it a lot more than when I was pregnant with my first iv also started to show a bump very quickly. Fingers crossed for you !

Maybebaby2 · 11/05/2017 18:25

Bethany I've not got a date for scan yet, will be a while off because I'm only 4+5 and not been booked in yet. It's going to be a looooong wait!

Bethany891 · 11/05/2017 18:28

@Maybebaby2 it's awful waiting to see what's going on isn't it I have funny bloods so was booked in for an early 6 week reassurance scan so glad I had one now, can you not ask for one with you having history off twins ?

SandyAmazon · 11/05/2017 18:32

Thanks for the supportive comments. Sorry I posted and ran. Called my GP who asked me to come in so had a bit of a mad dash to get here in time, and safely. GP thinks all is ok and I should try a Rene and rest. See how I feel in the morning. If I had been in my 50s I would've thought I was having a heart attack but it has eased off a bit now...phew!

SandyAmazon · 11/05/2017 18:34

@maybebaby never had ibs but I will try a peppermint tea. Up for anything that might help ease this.

Maybebaby2 · 11/05/2017 18:38

Oh no its not me thats had twins I meant there's twins in the family, my cousin has twins and my nan had twin brother and sister. I could ask for early scan on the basis of that but I think they'd just laugh at me 😂

Maybebaby2 · 11/05/2017 18:41

Glad it has eased off sandy and that you got seen too quickly by gp, always best to get checked if you're really worried x

Maybebaby2 · 11/05/2017 18:42

Seen to quickly, not seen too quickly! Silly typo!

SandyAmazon · 11/05/2017 18:52

I feel a bit silly now but it was quite scary at the time. Think the combo of the pain, the usual symptoms, being too hot and feeling run down was a bit too much! At home now and feeling much better. Hopefully this pain will ease off soon.

Bethany891 · 11/05/2017 18:55

@Maybebaby2 I would say that's good basis to have an early scan 😂😂

Fattycowagain · 11/05/2017 19:00

Ladies, I can highly recommend ginger pills to help with nausea. I take them twice a day now and it suppresses the feeling a lot! They have them at Holland and Barrett (got mine there), but I'm sure they have them at other places too!

Fattycowagain · 11/05/2017 19:00

sandy, glad you got seen and are feeling a bit better!

Barmaid101 · 11/05/2017 19:12

Hey!
Can I join please! Got my bfp last night! This will be baby #2 Unsure on dates though as I had a strange cycle
1st April first day LMP bleeding 6days 3 days off before bleeding for 6 days again but second lot of bleeding was lighter and I don't think any clots. So unsure which dates I will need to use.
Phoning Drs tomorrow morning as I had HG previously and I'm in a new area, had dd in a different area so not sure how it works with the local trust.
Excited but scared as I know what to expect this time!

Maybebaby2 · 11/05/2017 19:12

You did the right thing sandy so don't feel silly, it would be scary enough on its own to get those symptoms but add in that you are pregnant and anyone would react the same. Glad you're feeling better now and hopefully after a good night's rest the pains will be gone completely.

bethany I'll give it a try 😂😂

Bethany891 · 11/05/2017 19:18

Hope your feeling better @SandyAmazon I think anything is 100% more scarier when pregnant nothing to feel silly about at all !

Sophsta · 11/05/2017 20:05

Just been for a lovely bike ride and came home to my husband having made dinner! Could get used to this!

pebble82 · 11/05/2017 20:41

jellypi3 I had a very traumatic birth experience but I don't think it makes me high risk for pregnancy. I'll be asking for an elcs this time though as all the techniques that kept me calm last time are unlikely to work now.

moodybutmarvelous · 11/05/2017 21:37

Hello, can I join please? I got a BFP today, I think my due date will be 19th January. This will be my 2nd DC.

I had horrible hyperemesis last time, spending quite a bit of time in hospital on drips. I have nausea already, at only 4 weeks!

Roseandbee · 11/05/2017 22:14

Also wanting to join, first ever BFP today after a long TTC journey. Estimated due date is also the 19th of Jan.
Will have a proper read through the thread once I get over the shock. Meanwhile hi everyone
