@flossyfloss This just happened to me, GP referred me to Early pregnancy unit for a scan to check. Always best to check x

@BlueeSpottyTiger All my tests were stronger in the pm than the am. You may just be similar xx

flossyfloss · 11/05/2017 08:22

Thanks hot pink, they probably wouldn't be able to see anything at this stage would they? I'm only 4+4

I'm worried now Sad

BlueeSpottyTiger · 11/05/2017 08:23

imbreaking i see we have the same due date aswell.. we really were cycle buddies.. and now pregnancy ones too!
hotpink hello 👋 oh okay! I'll try not to worry x
thingy i will stop... thanks for the reassurance Smile

Sorry for the sickness.. i really am dreading it starting again. I've had pain in my left groin for about 4 days now, making me feel abit worried.
I was supposed to go holiday clothes shopping today for aug but no idea how big i will be.. i got big pretty fast last time. Think I'll just buy some sandals instead!

flossyfloss · 11/05/2017 08:24

Bluespottytiger my frer lines never got dark and the fmu I did the day after one I did one the previous afternoon was lighter.

I got a dark positive on an asda test and my cb digi was 2-3

ImBreakingBad · 11/05/2017 08:37

blue it's amazing isn't it! How have you been feeling otherwise?

Hotpinkangel19 · 11/05/2017 09:35

They would see if it was in the right place and not ectopic @flossyfloss

JB1983 · 11/05/2017 09:36

Congratulations on the twins Bethany, how exciting!

Glad the scan didn't show an ectopic hotpink. Fx for the follow up scan next week.

ndo4000 · 11/05/2017 10:55

Am having a bit of a panic today as no real symptoms today.... got doc appt next tuesday, but feeling sad in case it's not ok.....

Need some reassurance!!!

Sophsta · 11/05/2017 11:22

How far gone are you ndo4000? I'm 5 + 6 and I've nothing yet. Just very tired!

SJ1989 · 11/05/2017 11:32

I've just booked for an early scan on Sat! Congrats on the twins Bethany! Twins are in my family but I'm hoping for just one atleast with my first pregnancy! The other half isn't bothered by the idea of twins but it would scare me a bit specially as I'm high risk even if its a single baby!

flossyfloss · 11/05/2017 11:38

I've just had my booking in appointment through - 30th May Smile I'll be 7 weeks 3 days so a little early but I don't mind :)

flossyfloss · 11/05/2017 11:58

Ah how exciting! How many weeks will you be?

I've been booked in by the fertility clinic for a scan when I'll be 6 +2 but nervous there may be no heartbeat at that stage

ndo4000 · 11/05/2017 12:03

I'm only 4+5 sophsta. But until today, I had felt a bit sick, etc and today I feel weirdly normal....

I know it is super early days, but I wish I knew what was going on in there!

rabbitstail · 11/05/2017 12:06

Hey StylishDuck you could try simple linctus I'm sure that's fine as a Cough mixture?

Congratulations Bethany891! Twins will be lovely how old are your other children?

That's hilarious about the dentist Fattycowagain, your dentist will have a take to tell after that!!

Good advice BlueeSpottyTiger from Thingymaboob, don't test for a while as it will only stress you out x

itsgoingtoofast · 11/05/2017 12:45

Congratulations on the twins Bethany891!

I'm booked in for an early scan in a couple of weeks, cannot come quickly enough. I'm feeling ok, an occasional wave of nausea but nothing major. I've always felt pretty sick at the beginning in the past, although I can't remember when it really kicked in. I was always envious of people who seemed to feel fine! This time of course I'm worried I don't feel worse, can't win! I'm only 5+3 so plenty time for it to kick in

StylishDuck · 11/05/2017 13:12

Thanks everyone for suggestions. I've got honey and lemon just now and have instructed DH to seek out a cough bottle safe for use in pregnancy on his way home from work.

isambardo · 11/05/2017 13:22

Hello all, thought I better join, I got my bfp yesterday, due 16th Jan. This will be dc3, I'm feeling quite nervous (and excited of course)!

I'll try to catch up on the thread now, can't believe it's 23 pages long already!

PurplePoppySeed · 11/05/2017 13:38

Congrats on the twins Bethany - I've conceived on clomid after 18+ months trying, with such extreme symptoms so early on I've got a niggling worry I might be too, but perhaps it's wishful thinking as I'd love to have twins!

Hotpink I've also had cysts in the past, had a 9cm one removed in quite major surgery when I was 22 and then later had smaller ones come and go, they sometimes even burst but only the huge one was ever really a worry as with that my periods stopped completely! Chances are it'll disappear during pregnancy.

Fattycowagain · 11/05/2017 13:51

Dentist played along nicely. Smile

flossyfloss · 11/05/2017 14:50

Purplepoppy i have been trying 18 months and managed to get our bfp on second month of femara - similar to clomid! Congrats! It felt like it was never gonna happen for me! X

Usernamegone · 11/05/2017 15:06

I'm worried as I have put on 6lbs in the past 2 weeks (despite having no appetite) and now today my hands, arms, legs and feet have swollen today (not massively but the feel puffy) I can find out lots about ankle swelling in late pregannacy but does anyone know anything about swelling in early pregnancy. I'm only 5+5.

SandyAmazon · 11/05/2017 16:38

Hi all. I'm in need of hand holding. Feeling absolutely dreadful. Have a horrible pain in my abdomen, just below my . On top of the usual period pain type cramps and mild nausea. Feel like I have a temp too - at work so can't tell for sure but my face is burning up. Anyone experienced anything like this before?
Starting to freak out a little

ndo4000 · 11/05/2017 17:04

Hi sandy. I am not sure what this could be, but didn't want to not say anything.

It really is a nerve wrecking time, isn't it?

Try to stay calm and rest and if you really think something is up, get an emergency doctors appt in the morning?

purplechoc · 11/05/2017 17:12

@Sandy not had any experience of that but you're ahead of me. I think a certain amount is normal due to the amount changing but I've read it shouldn't be very very painful. Maybe ring 111 to see what they say and put your mind at rest? My other thought is could it be trapped wind, as that can be hideously painful!

PurplePoppySeed · 11/05/2017 17:34

Yeah flossy it was my second month too! Was a bit of a shock after so many failed months!

Maybe worth checking with the dr just in case sandy hopefully it's just combination of stretching & normal symptoms xx
