I feel the same @Maybebaby2. The first few days it was all I could think about but I'm sure it's slipped my mind a few times today as I don't feel it at all, although I do feel very tired! The other thing I've noticed as I have a Fitbit is that my resting heart rate is climbing day by day, so no wonder we all feel tired if your body is noticeably working that much harder!

feelingold101 · 10/05/2017 17:21

Thank you for welcoming me! I'm absolutely exhausted, no matter how much sleep I get I'm still tired!!
I haven't told DH yet I'm waiting till he gets home, he's going to be thrilled!!

Maybebaby2 · 10/05/2017 17:22

purplechoc that's interesting about the heartbeat increasing, our bodys must be working so much harder already even at this early stage.... so why can't I sleep haha! Yeah I literally keep forgetting I'm pregnant, at first I was worried how I would keep being pregnant a secret at work but if I don't even know I am then no one else is going to guess! 😂

purplechoc · 10/05/2017 17:25

Good luck telling DH @feelingold. I had all these ideas in my head of how I would do it if I ever got pregnant and ended up just shaking him awake and saying 'erm it's positive' haha. It's such an exciting moment though!

@Maybebaby I guess we know it subconsciously, maybe a lot to process so our brains won't switch off ! I'm walking home now and my eyes just don't want to stay open!

Maybebaby2 · 10/05/2017 17:39

Goodluck feelingold, I told dh over the phone, he was at work... how bad am I! But I knew he was going to be back really late that night and I just couldn't wait!
purplechoc I bet in a few weeks time when symptoms have really kicked and in we'll wish they hadn't! 😂

ImBreakingBad · 10/05/2017 17:43

Good luck feelinggold and congratulations on your pregnancy!

I'm off to EPU in the morning for blood work. Hoping for a positive result!

purplechoc · 10/05/2017 17:46

I've just been really and done a clear blue (supposed to wait until the morning!) but got a 2-3 weeks one!!

I'm not due af until tomorrow but think I ovulated 3/4 days early which would put me at 4 weeks and 2 or 3 days

purplechoc · 10/05/2017 17:48

Good luck @ImBreakingBad. Sure all will be well but let us know how you get on!

Kirsty157 · 10/05/2017 17:57

Oh wow @purplechoc that's really early to know :) were you tracking ovulation?

I was super restrained and didn't test this time until the day AF was due, mainly due to the vast amount of money I spent previously on tests!

purplechoc · 10/05/2017 18:04

@Kirsty157 yes but I only started tracking on about day 12 I think and got no positive tests. I got my first squinter a week at 7dpo according to my app so had my suspicions I must have done. I only started doing opks this month so not sure when I normally do.

Kirsty157 · 10/05/2017 18:11

That's fab @purplechoc I've never used opks but after trying for a while and then having mc I was about to bite the bullet and give it a go. I'd be really interested to find out when in my cycle I ovulate as I'm convinced I'm not the 'standard' 14 days

pebble82 · 10/05/2017 18:31

Maybe I only started to feel pregnant at about 18-20 weeks last time I think. That's when I started to get a bit of a bump. Thankfully the exhausted tiredness subsided early on, I think about 10 weeks. Hard to remember though. It feels like you'll never forget a single moment but you do. It's all a blur now. I do remember going on a city break at 26 weeks and walking miles and miles each day then realising I needed to take it easy after that.

Maybebaby2 · 10/05/2017 18:47

Good luck imbreaking keep us posted.

Wow pebble that long really! I'll be quite happy with that as long as I know everything is ok. My last pregnancy was 16 years ago and I can remember feeling pretty awful throughout so I'd definately prefer to stay like this!

Errm so ds (15) just sat down for tea and started asking if me and dh were still thinking about having a baby and if we did would I prefer a girl or boy and did we have any name's! I asked why he was asking and he just said he was wondering. Worried he knows somehow!! He might have overhead me and dh talking??! What do I do, say nothing??

Maybebaby2 · 10/05/2017 18:49

Overheard not overhead!

ifeellikechickentonight · 10/05/2017 19:08

Omg maybe either he overheard or he's ridiculously perceptive for a 15 year old boy!!

Maybebaby2 · 10/05/2017 19:22

I've not left any tests lying around so overhearing is the only way he could know, but I thought we'd been careful and out of earshot! Really stuck on what to do, if he does know and not saying he knows then I wouldn't want to leave him for another 8 weeks without talking to him about it. On the other hand if he was just asking and really doesn't know then I don't want to tell him because it's too early! This is not going the way I planned that's for sure!

Thingymaboob · 10/05/2017 20:10

Hi maybebaby2 I would just tell him. He's 15. He's old enough to understand and he has probably heard something. If I were in his shoes, I'd probably feel left out and sad that you weren't telling me.

WLMcI · 10/05/2017 20:14

Maybe that's ridiculously specific, asking you about names and suchhe absolutely knows! You can either bold-face lie, or fess upat 15 I'm sure he knows what's what and he sounds a bit excited about it tbh. Good luck!

purplechoc · 10/05/2017 20:21

@Maybebaby I would probably tell him too. My mum got pregnant when I was around the same age, and she told me a few days after she found out. She just explained that we had to wait and see and that things could go wrong. She didn't think she could hide it as she got bad morning sickness. I definitely understood but I remember being quite worried about how upset I should be/act if she did misscarry, so might be worth some reassurance around that as I didn't know what would be normal.

rabbitstail · 10/05/2017 20:25

Good evening all!

ImBreakingBad did you get your blood work done? How are things?

MaybeBaby2 I'm dreading telling my 16yr old, I think she'll believe I've gone a bit crazy getting pg at my age! Have you decided to tell him yet?!

I used clear blue ovulation but thought I hadn't ovulated last month!

rabbitstail · 10/05/2017 20:27

That list is getting longer purplechoc....!

Maybebaby2 · 10/05/2017 20:37

Thanks thingymaboob wlmcl purplechoc you're all right an I'm going to have to fess up because I can't lie and can't just leave it as he obviously knows something. Not sure if he'll be able to keep quiet till I'm 12 weeks though!
rabbitstail he'll be made up so I'm not worried about how he'll take it, I just wanted to wait till I was more certain things were going well but I think he knows something so I don't have much choice. When do you think you'll tell your dd?

BlueeSpottyTiger · 10/05/2017 20:59
