Ah someone I know just posted their 20 week scan. I feel shit and jealous and happy for them all in one!

Hotpinkangel19 · 10/05/2017 12:36

Ok, so, pregnancy isn't ectopic, it's where it should be. My date from LMP is 6 weeks 6 days. From ovulation i should be 5 weeks 4 days. (I got positive opk on 14th, so this is guessing I ovulated on 16th) Scan shows sac measuring 5.3mm - she said just under 5 weeks 😕 with a yolk sac. No embryo yet so rescanning in 7 days. Pain was caused by a cyst on my ovary. I'm worried now 🙁😳

purplechoc · 10/05/2017 12:41

Great news that all is where it should be @Hotpinkangel19. Hopefully by next week you'll be able to see and will be reassured. It's only a couple of days out from where you thought so wouldn't worry too much yet

purplechoc · 10/05/2017 12:42

(Also realise not worrying is almost impossible)

Kirsty157 · 10/05/2017 12:51

Glad all was where it should be @hotpink.

Don't forget early US can be very misleading as the size of the sac is so very small. At this stage measuring wrong by 1mm could be the difference between a few days. Sending you hugs, hopefully this next week won't drag too much xx

usedtorun · 10/05/2017 14:31

@Hotpinkangel19 pleased to hear pregnancy is not ectopic. Try to hang in there, like PP said, the margins are so tiny at the moment, a few days can make a world of difference. Keeping fingers crossed for you Flowers

Waitingonasmile · 10/05/2017 14:37

Hopefully you'll get good news at next scan hotpink so glad it's not ectopic.

bunanarama · 10/05/2017 15:10

Glad to hear its not ectopic hotpink. Hope you have lots of distractions over the next week so it doesn't drag.

I've just come back from a very frustrating GP visit. I've had some brown spotting the last few days. Our EPU says they prefer you to go via GP for a referral so I off I trotted this afternoon. She said probably nothing to worry about but worth a visit to EPU - she tried calling, couldn't get through so said I should just go as a walk in! I.e. I could have just walked in myself this morning! ARGH! I now think I will wait until Monday unless anything gets worse as hubby is away and I think I'll need him there for moral support.

Also apparently one of the drugs I take for my asthma is not recommended but no availability for seeing an asthma nurse for any kind of monitoring. Bit scared to stop taking it as I'm sure it's the key to keeping it all under control Sad

Other than that tho, the doc said I should just carry on as normal, so I'm off to run a 5k race tonight, probably going for a personal worst, hopefully no chundering on the way round!

Fattycowagain · 10/05/2017 15:52

hotpink, I'm glad the pregnancy is in the right place. Cysts are nothing to worry about, I have three of them and two are quite large. Fingers crossed for a bigger bean next week!

Hotpinkangel19 · 10/05/2017 15:54

Thank you all! @Fattycowagain really? I don't know much about them but it scared me xx

Fattycowagain · 10/05/2017 15:58

They can cause pain when the push against a nerve, but aren't dangerous. They will most likely just monitor their size. My big ones are 5cm in diameter and they are fine.

Hotpinkangel19 · 10/05/2017 16:12

Mine is 5.5cm 😕

Fattycowagain · 10/05/2017 16:22

Don't worry about it. It will have been there for a while. Mine shrunk when I was pregnant before. They keep an eye on them and only if they grow exceptionally huge, will they do something about them.

feelingold101 · 10/05/2017 16:24

Hello all!! I've just found out I'm pregnant (literally an hour ago Grin) I'm working my date out to be mid January!!

pebble82 · 10/05/2017 16:31

Congrats feelingold101

I'm googling "is it possible to die from tiredness"! I swear my boss thinks there's something wrong with me.

Hotpinkangel19 · 10/05/2017 16:32

@Fattycowagain Thank you ❤️

Hotpinkangel19 · 10/05/2017 16:32

@Fattycowagain were yours there before pregnancy too? X

Fattycowagain · 10/05/2017 16:37

hotpink, they were sure they are, as I had a scan very very very early last time. They don't just appear all at once being that large!

Kirsty157 · 10/05/2017 16:46

Congrats @FeelingOld!

@Pebble I too feel like I could sleep for a week!

@Bunanarama - hope everything goes well at the EPU x

Hotpinkangel19 · 10/05/2017 16:56

Thank you, you have calmed me down! Xx

Hotpinkangel19 · 10/05/2017 16:57

@feelingold101 Congratulations!!!!!
@bunanarama Good luck ☘️

Hotpinkangel19 · 10/05/2017 16:58

@bunanarama Brown spotting is not the bad type, could be old blood, it's scary though the not knowing isn't it x

Maybebaby2 · 10/05/2017 17:00

Glad to hear it not ectopic hotpink and hopefully you're feeling a bit more reassured about the cyst since fattycow shared her experience, so much easier to put mind at rest when you know someone else has the same exact thing.

Work has destroyed me today, I'm so tired! Other than that I don't 'feel' pregnant, if that makes any sense! So at what point will I actually start to 'feel' pregnant, if I get sickness will that do the trick? Not that I want sickness!!

Maybebaby2 · 10/05/2017 17:04

Congratulations feelingoldGrin

Hope everything is ok bunanarama x

ImBreakingBad · 10/05/2017 17:05

OK. Please help me!!

I just tested with a Boots (50miu) and line came up, easily seen and within the timeframe!

Is this a good sign?
