I hope your tummy settles soon. Tired with horrendously sore boobs and very emotional. I can't stop crying! Smile

sallywiththegoodhurr · 08/05/2017 08:43

Those early squinters I have were dodgy tests. I've been testing daily since and I'm now 15dpo and AF is due today. Still getting the dodgy squinters but definitely BFN's.

Good luck everybody

rabbitstail · 08/05/2017 08:49

Still no af so there could be a chance sallywiththegoodhur?

How is everyone else this morning? Not many symptoms here, after lots of cramping in wks 3-5 I'm thinking I should be grateful! Feeling stressed at work but hoping that will passsi that I can get on with concentrating on the little bean!

purplechoc · 08/05/2017 09:01

@rabbitstail I'm also symptomless this morning. Did another test this morning as af due on Thursday and that's 5 days of positives so I'm finally almost convinced Grin

At what stage are you supposed to register with midwives for booking in etc?

Mummyme87 · 08/05/2017 09:17

All areas are different purple I will self refer probably in a couple of weeks when I'm closer to 6weeks

chocolateshortcake · 08/05/2017 09:19

Feeling very sick this morning. Didn't have any sickness at all in my first pregnancy so was hoping to escape it this time as well... I'm 4+6 so seems a bit early!!

sallywiththegoodhurr · 08/05/2017 09:29

It's possible rabbitstail, I'll test again if no AF in a few days.

Maybebaby2 · 08/05/2017 09:54

Morning all, hope everyone is good and not feeling too poorly!

Congratulations to new faces!

Quick question, how does the week and day counting work? If I'm 2 days into my 5th week is that 5+2 or is it full weeks plus whatever day you are on the next week so 4+2??

mrsb87 · 08/05/2017 10:05

purple I made an appt with my GP today, I'm approx 4wks but as usual no appointments for a couple of weeks, so I won't be seen til 26th!

Mummyme87 · 08/05/2017 10:07

5+2 is 5 full weeks and 2 days

Maybebaby2 · 08/05/2017 10:12

Thanks mummyme so that means I'm 4+2. Hmm I liked the sound of it better when I thought it was 5+2 haha! 😂

itsgoingtoofast · 08/05/2017 10:17

Hi, this news has just about sunk in enough for me to post!

Got a BFP on Thursday, and it is unexpected! This will be my 3rd DC but it's my 4th pregnancy as had a MMC in between. Feeling positive and hopeful this time.

Just made the initial calls to get booked in. I think EDD will be 8th/9th Jan but will be having an ELCS so expecting that will be done at 39 weeks on the 1st/2nd Jan. I wonder how that will work?!

Banania · 08/05/2017 10:41

Hi everyone. 4+4 here and time going very slowly. Not feeling too bad yet, just a bit 'off' and distant, boobs vaguely sore but nothing much. Wondering when/if nausea will properly set in and things taste weird. I'm not going to book an appointment to see GP until I'm about 7 weeks, I think (where I am you don't have to book appointments way in advance). I am going to a wedding of a BFF around then and have just decided to tell the close friends &bride rather than trying to cover it up. If something goes wrong it goes wrong.

Mummyme87 I'm quite excited to hear that we have a midwife on the thread! I'm sure I'll be bombarding you with nosy questions...Sorry to hear your ds was so ill, how is he now?

Mummyme87 · 08/05/2017 10:47

banania DS is fine now thank you. He is still under audiology but no concerns

Waitingonasmile · 08/05/2017 12:14

4 + 2 today and just desperate to get to 5weeks and feel very very slightly safer. No spotting today so hopefully that's the last of it. Unless like my last pregnancy it reappears at 8 and 12 weeks. I hate the uncertainty of early pregnancy and feel like it's hard to be happy which seems stupid when I've been desperate for a BFP.Confused

rabbitstail · 08/05/2017 12:48

Good luck sallywiththegoodhurr, fingers crossed for you x

I've done three tests so far, I'll do another just before my mw apt on thur purplechoc, I may make it to five yet!

Congratulations to newbies!

I self refered and the midwife seemed amazed that I was going to book a gp apt, but there is not info online to the contrary!

GenerallyHappy1 · 08/05/2017 12:50

Hi all!,

First post on Mumsnet! I am pregnant with my first. Found out two weeks ago and I am happy, scared, anxious and just about every other emotion you can think about.

Baby is due on the 1st Jan. Hoping the baby doesn't come on my birthday on 31st December, as I have struggled over the years to celebrate my birthday normally due to the new years celebrations.

I have had very minor symptoms the main and probably the most noticeable is my (already large boobs) have grown considerably bigger!

Ade

Fattycowagain · 08/05/2017 14:07

I did another test today, with afternoon wee, and it still came up positive. Yay, definitely pregnant! I will do the last one tomorrow morning, just to see a line appear again. Grin

Nausea has kicked in. I'm only 4+6! Shock

Fattycowagain · 08/05/2017 14:08

And welcome to all the new ladies, of course! Where are my manners..?

StylishDuck · 08/05/2017 14:14

5 weeks today. 12 weeks seems so far away!

I'm so exhausted at the moment. Not great when you have a 2yo to run about after! I'm sitting at my desk at work trying not to nod off Blush

Waitingonasmile · 08/05/2017 14:20

Hi generallyhappy congratulations!

ElleMcElle · 08/05/2017 15:39

Did another ClearBlue test last night - now showing 2-3 weeks, so we seem to be progressing... Have booked a private scan for 8 weeks, just for a little bit of reassurance. I veer between excitement, anxiety and the sense that none of this is real. It's difficult not telling people - so it's nice to be able to at least type it here: "I'M PREGNANT, PREGGERS, KNOCKED UP!" Hope you're all doing well!

Waitingonasmile · 08/05/2017 16:40

I also got 2-3 this afternoon ellemcelle Grin. Nice to see the weeks progressing!

Kirsty157 · 08/05/2017 16:48

Evening all, congrats to all the newcomers :)
I'm 6w today, and have been feeling very sick all day :( I sailed through with no morning sickness at all in my first two pregnancies so I'm a bit peeved.

I'm slightly jealous of all you ladies able to see your midwife when you want. The team here refuse to see you initially until you're at least 8 weeks. So nervous after miscarriage that I have booked a private dating scan, and will have had that before I've even seen my MW!

Fattycowagain · 08/05/2017 16:50

I'm only getting to see my midwife this early due to miscarrying last time. Otherwise it would be 8+ weeks here too.
