Just thought I'd better kick a new one off...
Another day, another tearful outburst at work! It's getting very embarrassing Is it just me who feels like crying at the drop of a hat? Maybe it's lack of sleep, just not dealing very well with things that would not normally bother me, then something really small sets me off. cried in the toilets for 20 minutes today! Can't even explain why. Is this normal still at this stage?

Oh dear, sorry! I wonder what kind of dreams I'll be having tonight...hopefully Paul will show me some more of his moves!

foxybrown · 27/03/2007 21:56

tee hee. Life on Mars finished. I'm off to bed

foxybrown · 27/03/2007 21:56

nite all! xx

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 27/03/2007 21:58

Goodnight, I'm off too. Harry Potter is calling me! Not literally obv, that would just be wrong!

Daisybump · 27/03/2007 22:46

Holly...we're in north Leeds but its not that big a place...we should def meet up.
There are some nice cafe bars around.....let me know when you're coming and we'll organise one of those red carnation in the lapel kind of meetings.

Off to dream about interesting things to do with sex toys

Daisybump · 28/03/2007 08:45

Good morning....last off, first on....anyone would think I had no life (oh the joys of DH being away through the week!!)
Foxy....I used to think Power Rangers was awful, but as I've watched some of them (only to keep up with the convesations between DS and DH you understand) it's not that bad. Classic tale of good vs evil I suppose and there are some really corny lines in it which make me laugh...that and the sight of muscly fit young blokes in skin tight outfits....
My friend came round last night and we giggled our way through that website.....she was as shocked as me thank goodness and we've decided that our lives are obviously far too sheltered. She did go off home with a glint in her eye though...bumper you are a bad influence on the quiet lives of us Northern lassies!!

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 28/03/2007 09:00

Good morning daisy! Hope you had some lovely dreams! I'll let you know when/if we are coming to Leeds and we'll def meet up for coffee/shopping!

bumperlicious · 28/03/2007 11:02

TALLULAHBELLE · 28/03/2007 12:12

OMG I innocently go off to Mothercare for support belt and come back to saucy dreams and sex toys . Good luck to you all, am not remotely interested now I'm size of house, pains everywhere, heatburn, no sleep and still getting bouts of m/s. Though maybe bit of rumpy would take mind off all the yucky stuff! And would a rampant rabbit really help my pelvic floor - I never remember to do those exercises? I ask purely in the interests of science!

mummyjx · 28/03/2007 12:16

Help! Does anyone have a tip for relieving cramp? It is disturbing my sleep as much as the saucy dreams (I am glad I'm not in a minority). Shan't tell you who though - embarrassing.

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 28/03/2007 12:42

Go on mummyjx, please share! I shared mine! For cramp you prob need more salt. Do you have low bp? I get nasty evil calf cramps and low bp, I think they are connected as I have been advised to up my salt intake to relieve both.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUMPERLICOUS hope you have a great day! What a fab birthday pressie! How old are you? I think I may be the youngest now, hehe!!

Daisybump · 28/03/2007 13:29

Happy Birthday Bumper......hope you are having a lovely day

Foxy....no offence to redheads, but Chip doesn't really float my boat and if you must know what I bought.....tea-bags, coffee, potatoes......
Oh, you mean the other shop . Not plucked up the courage yet, but I did like the look of (not literally I will hastily add) the fake fanjos....I might get one for DH's birthday to save myself some grief. I mean how much is he really gonna get with a six week old baby in the house

No dreams that I can remember last night, but I have started waking up two or three times a night which is a PITA. Also, major recurrence of ms this morning and I threw up twice in the shower and once brushing my teeth...which was nice. Felt grim until about 10:30 then fine after that...is this normal??

MW says bubba is head down getting ready for take-off....must be her bum that's crashing against my ribs!!

Daisybump · 28/03/2007 13:31

PS....mummyjx...all the stuff I've read says that leg cramps are just another of those irritating pregnancy things and all you can do is massage the area and wait for it to pass, but it might be worth trying some re-hydration fluids incase you are deficient in salts and minerals. Thankfully I didn't get any with DS and none to report so far...

derlor · 28/03/2007 13:40

flip you lot STILL talking about sex???
Happy birthday bumper - enjoy.

well, i managed to get an early night and feel much more refreshed today. however i dreampt that i was a trapeeze artist in the circus!!!! WTF is that all about?

well i saw my midwife this am and was brave enough to ask her about the pelvic floor/orgasm link!!!!! her face was a picture then she started pissing herself laughing - said a definate YES!! was so impressed at the suggestion she said she will speak to other mw's and maybe incorporate a section on this in their antinatal classes!!! said she will need to log onto mn and pick up other tips.

then she felt the baby and said she thinks i am on course to have a baby of 8lbs or less - yippee, can't wait to see nasty park lady again

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 28/03/2007 13:52

Ewwww!!! Fake fanjo! My bro's friends bought him one of those when they went to Poland as a joke! It was disgusting!

PSML that you actually asked your mw delor!! That's so funny! Even funnier that she said yes !

Daisybump · 28/03/2007 14:05

LOL at you asking your MW Derlor...I couldn't bring myself to ask my MW this morning....she was too busy telling me she's going through the change anyway...I get more of her life each time than she does about my pg. That and there was a male student with her (will all the political correctos insist they should change their names to "mid-perons" )

sputnik · 28/03/2007 14:24

Met a client today and, seeing I was pg, she pulled out her story of giving birth in, guess where, the car. She said it was great and the best thing that could've happened

She didn't even realise until she got in the hosp (they were right outside) and the nurse said "look, your baby has already been born".
I quote: "luckily I was wearing trousers"! They must've been bloody stretchy ones I mean, if she'd been wearing a skirt would she have dropped it in the car park and not noticed?

sputnik · 28/03/2007 14:29

Ps Happy birthday Bumperlicious, have a good one.
And yay to Derlor for asking your MW, now we all know

derlor · 28/03/2007 14:39

SHE DIDN'T REALISE SHE'D HAD HER BABY!!!!????? WHAT???
man she must do some big poos

sputnik · 28/03/2007 14:57

She put it down to having done acupuncture for a year, for migraines

derlor · 28/03/2007 15:41

now i'm really confused. so does accupuncture = labour without pain and pushing????
should i suggest this to my mw too!!!!???? then she really would think i'm completely off my trolley.

foxybrown · 28/03/2007 16:32

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU BUMPERLICIOUS!!!

Hope you are having a lovely day xxx

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 28/03/2007 16:50

Well...I just had an emotional breakdown in the car park of Mamas & Papas because I can't find any maternity jeans to fit me! My Next ones have split along the back seam so I took them back expecting them to just replace them. They can't order any because there aren't any in the warehouse and there is no expected date. So I trawl all over town trying to find some more and can't. I am getting more and more pissed off and in more and more pain and I finally end up sat on a wall in the Mamas & Papas car park on the phone to my dp sobbing and asking him to come and get me. I felt so fat and stupid! Luckily we went to Tesco on the way home and bought some donuts. Now I feel better!

How can you have a baby and not notice? It hurts like hell!!

foxybrown · 28/03/2007 16:58

aww, poor you!!

were they custard?

derlor · 28/03/2007 17:11

oh holly poor you it's awful how emotional you become when pg isn't it. did your good old cry make you feel any better? try funmum.com for lovely maternity stuff at reasonable prices. they got some nice jeans and deliver to your door so no trailing round shops in your fragile condition.
