Ellie -

Just read your "flirting" thread and if that is causing your man to have a major meltdown I would look out if I were you... There is absolutely nothing on there that any reasonable person would get upset by - he sounds very insecure and possessive to me tbh. I would lose him, no kidding.

Sorry hun - prob not what you wanted to hear at all. Only my opinion but I would tell a friend the same thing so I thought I owed it to you....

Ellieump · 01/03/2007 12:03

that's ok birdie, we both know that there was nothing there to upset him, it's that combined with my past that's the problem, and the fact that he hates himself for not trusting me, so not quite as it first seems x

Birdiebump · 01/03/2007 12:06

Hope it works out the way you want it to. {{{{hugs}}}}

Ellieump · 01/03/2007 12:14

Oooggs eca Twinkle183 Opinionsrus Pesha

and anyone else that wants to share their email, even if they don't want to join the buddy list

mmk · 01/03/2007 12:19

Ellie
We will all gather up and go to see him, and explain, gently and in a non hormonal manner, the error of his ways.
If that doesn't work he will get pulverised by a lot of angry, hard boiled eggs.
And let me tell you, a 45 year old, sort of overweight, very hormonal bad tempered one such as I, would scare anyone to death...

My fingers are crossed for you, for a happy outcome.

Dh too, is getting very, very worried now and it is causing problems because he comes from such a nureotic family.

charNbump · 01/03/2007 12:30

hellcat - have lost track of this thread - are you still ma buddy?

Hope everyone else is ok, not suffering too much!I'm off to dr in a min about my back/leg pain thing......i've come to the conclusion i think its sciatica - tres tres painful!!! . Thanks for the email ellie Hope ur ok xxxxxx

claricebean · 01/03/2007 12:49

Hi girls, hope you're all well. My sister's still here helping out which is lovely. DH still away - not sure for how long now as he is waiting for a hospital referral in UK before coming home.

Wow, it really feels like it's all about to happen now, doesn't it. I must admit the nerves are starting to kick in now. I thought I had it all planned out with DH being back and studying from home for April, May and June; then off work until September. Now he has developped this eye problem and it looks like I'll have to cope on my own a lot more than I was expecting, so am getting v apprehensive. Thinking about getting an au pair for a couple of months, but would prefer not to. Decisions, decisions.

Still, today I feel like I have been kicked by a troop of horses in the groin (too much walking in the last few days I think), so in that sense am thrilled to have only 4 weeks and 6 days left (theoretically)!!

Ellieump · 01/03/2007 12:51

hi clarice

did you want to be in on the email list? just so we have each others emails rather than mobiles? entirely up to you but can send it to you if you like x

octopussyintummy · 01/03/2007 12:55

Afternoon all

Have been to hospital to see consultant and he doesn't think baby is too big at all and baby rolled over too so could easily turn in labour - hoorah! Says he is quite happy for me to go ahead and have natural delivey but they will intervene with a section if they think he isn't coming out! Says if can deliver a 10lb back to back baby with ahuge head, then this one will be fine. Phew! My head has at last stopped spinning and can get on with practising my breathing and visualisation exercises!

...so think Birdie may pip me to the post after all

Only downside was that they didn't scan me and I was really hoping to see him again

Have just laid down the law with my mum - pointing out that do not need any more visits before they baby comes and that enjoying time on my own now on ML. Think she got it LOL

Claricbean - sorry to hear about dh - hope it gets sorted out quickly - within the next few weeks would be good

Have my medical herbalist this afternoon to go over my insomnia - please please sort me out! I don't get the wee thing though which is good.

Ellieump · 01/03/2007 13:10
