Hi all - looks like I'm first here! I'm pregnant with #1, due 2 September. Got my BFP a couple of days ago and already it feels like a rollercoaster ride - I'm utterly thrilled, anxious about the possibility of a loss and terrified at the thought of the birth! But hey, bring it on! Smile

I also have no get up and go today, DH had to take the DC's out, I haven't left the house all day which I hate but quite frankly I don't feel like going anywhere. Frustrates me to waste a day but I just feel like rubbish!

Dixiechick1991 · 14/01/2017 18:10

Hello everyone. I was on the August thread before but things changed today.
Age 25
Cycle 4
Positive test on 27th December

So I haven't been on for a while as I've Been a massive worrier. Been having some pale brown spotting, I wore a panty liner and it was about as tiny but obviously I noticed it.
According to my LMP I would have been 8+1 today but I went to a private early scan today and was told I'm only 5-6 weeks but she could see the flicker of a heartbeat and told us to come back next weekend for a rescan. So that would mean I was only 2 weeks pregnant when I got my very positive heavily diluted urine pregnancy tests. And I've been feeling nauseous/frequent urination/ bloating & burping for 3-4 weeks.
Slightly concerned but I suppose I've just got to get through it.

TeamLentil · 14/01/2017 18:21

I've also been told that I'm far behind than my calculations, but I think at these early stages (6+1 when I had the scan) it's difficult to get an accurate measurement. Have booked another scan for 9 weeks and am trying my best not to worry as it's a useless emotion! (easier said than done, I know)

calimommy · 14/01/2017 19:14

I know. Hard not to evaluate every twinge. They said my side pain was likely the corpus luteum, but I don't remember that from my other 4 pregnancies. Maybe I forgot! Anyho still bate out tired so it's the couch and tea for me 👍

Kskifred · 14/01/2017 20:40

Been in pain this evening on left side, just feeling rubbish but also majorly guilty and feeling like a crap mother - i am also dreading taking him to rugby tots solo tomo morning!

I just managed a pile of ironing though so it could be worse. Scoffing Enjoying---- a bag of mini eggs before i pass out on the couch

Shwighty1 · 14/01/2017 23:55

Chinese takeaway for tea tonight for the 1st time in years. It was amazing!!

Fx teamlentil hope the next scan goes well.

ksk does your ds enjoy rugby tots? I've been meaning to sign mine up for the local sessions. Is it very interactive with you?

TriJo · 15/01/2017 07:17

Sticking the tip of my toe in. Very faint positives on internet cheapies yesterday and today. I have a 9.5 month old DS and am still breastfeeding so this is very unexpected! Due date is September 19 if I use the only conception date it could be.

Kskifred · 15/01/2017 08:01

He did, but he struggles with his hearing (under ENT) and think this has gotten the better of him as recently he seems to play up and not listen to instructions. Either that or he's just not into it anymore, i'm finishing the term as paid then giving it a break. It is quite interactive, the other kids seems to enjoy it and do well but my ds sticks out like a sore thumb (lies on the ground defying us!) the only bit he always enjoys is the reward sticker and high 5 at the end!

Kskifred · 15/01/2017 08:35

Woke up in the night with extreme headache so had to take some pills and get back to sleep, also had a dream about the big brother house (i don't watch it) Hmm so that was fun, honestly i feel wrecked as even when i have chance to rest i can't! PMA i have to remind myself i'm pregnant and super lucky so just stop moaning and sort ds out his 2nd round of breakfast even though it makes me want to Envy

puttingourhoodupdown · 15/01/2017 09:31

Morning, tentatively joining you all...... Got my bfp this morning on an Internet cheapie but af isn't due until around Wednesday....I've been having very long cycles at the moment so I think due date is 26 September. This will be DC2..... Our DD is almost 3.

Decided to test early as I've been having really vivid dreams and been rather emotional...both of which are unlike me so thought they could be symptoms.

Super super excited.....I had a MC June 2015 so will be keeping schtum on this pg until I've had a scan. Fx for sticky beans !!!!! Going to try to hold off until Wednesday to do a clear blue digital.

WhiteLily86 · 15/01/2017 10:46

Morning all, how are we on this lovely Sunday morning? Thank god it is Sunday. Weekends really are not long enough!

So I have a bit more spotting this morning, red in colour but not much, still no sickness. Incredibly tired. I did another CB digital and finally reached 3 + weeks - so that must be a good sign?

Dreams are getting mental. We are glued to Netflix watching designated survivor and obviously I am dreaming about hubby being keifer Sutherland haha 😂

Anyone else getting spotting? I am 6+5 I think.

OkyDoke · 15/01/2017 11:09

I am totally panicking as i have so very few symptoms - just sore boobs and tired. Anyone else? I have midwife appointment on wednesday so will be telling her all my worries! 8 weeks tomorrow.

Tilly2017 · 15/01/2017 11:39

Hi WhiteLily I had some very light pink spotting but only when wiping at 4/5 weeks. Went to epu and every thing appears ok but going back next week for 6 week scan... hospital has been very reassuring. If you worried ring up you local epu and make an appointment to be checked.

Good luck x

HellsBellsK · 15/01/2017 12:22

OktDoke Im the same - I was say my boobs are a bit sore not much though and I am tired. I would say I feel meh if I had had to describe it I'm 7+2.
Have a scan on Wednesday and I am getting nervous for it now.

Whitelily I think its normal for some people to have spotting. If you are worried ring up the epu may be?

Hope the headache is gone Kskifred . I had one last week and it floored me!

WhatwouldRuthdo · 15/01/2017 12:43

OkeDoke my symptoms are the same as yours. Just sore (massive) boobs and really tired. Don't worry too much, I was exactly the same with DS and he was perfectly healthy! I have several friends who haven't had morning sickness either. Although it can be worrying, I try to think of it as lucky.

GlennRheeismyfavourite · 15/01/2017 13:42

It's so nice to hear about everyone else's experiences - last week I had sore boobs and was needing a wee all the time but feeling pretty smug about no sickness and then woke up this morning feeling pretty sicky. I'm worried about coping at work, I'm a teacher so no hiding when I feel grim. Just reading through the earlier posts and someone said how slowly the weeks go and I feel a bit like that - I just want to get to 12 weeks and feel a bit more confident that everything might go ok.

Carolina80 · 15/01/2017 14:00

Hi I am 6+4 now. This is my first time so all very new, scary and exciting at the same time. I'm approaching 37 so I guess I'm classed as an older mum. My morning sickness started middle of last week. I have vomitted a few times but it's mainly just all day nausea which eases off a little in the evenings. Today I have had vertigo though which I'm hoping is a one off. I work as a teaching assistant so it's hard going feeling unwell all day and trying to hide it. I know all this will eventually pass though. I haven't found anything that helps with the nausea yet so any suggestions are welcome. Still doesn't feel quite real but I expect it will once I see the midwife. Someone is supposed to be calling me to arrange an appointment 8-10 weeks with the community midwife. My doctors surgery doesn't deal with pregnancy apparently.

n0ne · 15/01/2017 14:09

After several restless nights of vivid, horrible dreams I had a glorious technicolor dream last night about being (a young) David Bowie's girlfriend GrinThanks, pregnancy hormones!!

In other news, feeling a bit nauseous today and definitely tired. And constantly starving! Anyone else?

Looking forward to scan on Wed, just to see what's going on in there (if anything).

OkyDoke · 15/01/2017 14:18

Glad to hear im not the only one! I asked my mum and she said she had no morning sickness either, if she had id be an only instead of one of four! Cant wait for a scan now! Seems so long to wait, at least another month.

SpringSpringSpring · 15/01/2017 15:59

Same here Oky, makes it all feel a bit unreal. I just have tiredness, sore boobs and mild nausea. I had cramping at the beginning too but nothing for a couple for days now (6+3). Have been wondering about going for a scan privately just to check but not sure if they can say anything so early.

MouseLove · 15/01/2017 16:03

Oky, don't worry. You have more symptoms than me. I have absolutely no symptoms. I thought I might have had a few but I think I was just a little dehydrated. I'm trying to be very positive and just accepting that every pregnancy is different. This is my first and I have no experience so this is my normal. X

Jaffacakes1234 · 15/01/2017 16:35

Don't worry too much with symptom spotting, my second I had no symptoms what so ever and he's a healthy 4 year old, had plenty on symptoms with my 4th (and my first and third) and I miscarried my 4th at 11 weeks (1st and 3rd had loads of symptoms and are healthy children). For me there had been no correlation between symptoms and outcome. Praying for healthy babies all round.,

OkyDoke · 15/01/2017 17:09

I had quite a few days of cramping to start with but not now. Thank you ladies, youve made me feel a lot better!

Herewegoagain31 · 15/01/2017 17:29

jaffa were your first and third pregnancies girls? I felt moderately ill for my DD, really sick for my DS and this time I feel much more like I did for DD so wondering if that means it's another girl (altho I googled it and it seems that actually it means nothing!)

Shwighty1 · 15/01/2017 17:46

Definitely don't worry about no symptoms be thankful! I'm not a morning sickness sufferer it would seem, the tiredness is soul destroying tho.

Lesson I learned today swimming baths are so much quieter on a Saturday! It was crazy busy today but ds1 still loved it. Am now sofa bound (watching Netflix) with ds1 sat on my back Hmm
