Hi all - looks like I'm first here! I'm pregnant with #1, due 2 September. Got my BFP a couple of days ago and already it feels like a rollercoaster ride - I'm utterly thrilled, anxious about the possibility of a loss and terrified at the thought of the birth! But hey, bring it on! Smile

Ok ladies. Here's a little group stats.

We have an average age of 32, and remarkably an average of only 2 months trying for a baby, with quite a few not even TTC and only 8 out of 34 of us trying for more than the average. MrsK is our youngest mum-to-be and lucylou is our hero longest TTC mum-to-be. On average this is our second baby but for 18 of us this is our first baby. 5 of us don't want to know the sex of our baby, 12 of us do and the rest are undecided. The majority of us are married.

😊

Kskifred · 07/01/2017 21:58

So yesterday was my official af would definitely have happened day so breathing a little now that a chemical is less likely among with stronger bfps which never got more than faint with chem last month. Had what i guess was implantation bleeding 13 and 14dpo but brown spotting, again all new for me as didn't have it with DS so was a bit scary but luckily it never turned into anything more.

lucylou1234 · 07/01/2017 21:58

those are some stats mouselove Must say it was a lovely early christmas present for me after so many cycles :)

Gingerbreadmam · 07/01/2017 22:00

Well ive done the dry january thing too shame i cant say that about dp. He drinks then tells people which is annoying given our history.

Yep, we are all still pregnant. Its a good way to get through these early weeks. Hopefully symptoms will kick on for some reassurance too.

HellsBellsK · 07/01/2017 22:09

Thanks ladies.
Ill think positive, What will be will be - nothing I can do anyway.
Whitelily thats like mine - it was only a small bit at lunch time when I wiped then after that tiny bits when I wiped.
I'm such a worrier and always think the worst - I also had a dream last night that I was bleeding - Odd!

January is get time to be pregnant - none of our friends are even looking to go out which is great!

Hope everyone is having a good night Flowers

MouseLove · 07/01/2017 22:23

Here's a February excuse for you.... oh we're still skint from Christmas and/or we enjoyed dry January so much we're doing it till Easter. Lol

Lucylou, I get you. I really do. Even though I got my BFP on cycle 3 this is a 3 year journey for me and actually more like 10 yrs for the actual wanting. We unfortunately had to stop TTC twice in the last 3 years, I lost 2 stone and looks like it worked. I'm soooo happy you finally get this! X

Gingerbreadmam · 08/01/2017 06:20

Bit early but. Cb digi says 2-3 today wohoo i must have ovulated a bit later than i thought. Gone up from 1-2 on wednesday. By lmp im 5+1 today. So chuffed now Grin

2plus1plusL1 · 08/01/2017 08:20

Good news gingerbreadman - I kept doing the CB digital until I got 3+ - made me a feel a bit more confident.

elpinguino · 08/01/2017 09:00

Morning. Thanks for stats mouse!

Hells & Whitelily fingers crossed for both of you, it's so scary when you see spotting and impossible not to worry, even though it can be completely normal in early preg, hope it's just babies settling in for the next 8 or so months!

Ginger yay! It's so exciting to see that number go up! Definitely worth peeing on a fiver for... (DH totally doesn't get it) and 2plus I'm exactly the same, almost feel that now I've seen a 3+ I can stop now and just prod my boobs every ten minutes to make sure they're still sore and I'm still pregnant

So yesterday I felt really really nauseous for the first time, it was horrible and I haven't even been sick yet! Have a feeling this is not going to be a fun few weeks. How do you/have you all coped with ms at work? A bit worried I'm not always going to have immediate access to a bathroom Hmm

MouseLove · 08/01/2017 09:02

I'm hoping to get 3+ this morning. I really hope I do. I have a bloody Amazon now delivery expected any minute and a ramekin full of pee ready to go. I had to pee. Couldn't hold it any longer. My bladder feels like it's done 10 rounds right now.

All because I didn't check which digital I got yesterday and instead of getting a 2 pack I got the one with the bloody normal test in too. Dumb nuts.

Gingerbreadmam · 08/01/2017 09:17

Im giving up on them now after the anxiety it caused the other day lol. Its gone up n thats good. Now for the symptoms to kick in ha!

Let us know when uv seen ur 3+!

MouseLove · 08/01/2017 09:18

Still 2-3. 🤔 I think I'll wait now till next week. I should be 6 weeks tomorrow. 😕

2plus1plusL1 · 08/01/2017 09:31

Try not to worry mouselove I didn't get 3+ until I was5+5 - it's definitely not an exact science!

Gingerbreadmam · 08/01/2017 10:21

Yes mouse as 2 says dont worry. I researched and researched last four days and loads of people never get to 3+ but still end up with their baby it's not worth worrying about.

If you've got nothing telling you otherwise, you are still pregnant!

Amz26 · 08/01/2017 10:30

I think Im lucky in the sense as I don't drink no one will pull me up on it!! Which is good 🙈 But Xmas was a good excuse for putting on a little weight haha

How's everyone feeling today?

Mouse- try not to worry Hun, I know it's hard but it's not accurate! I was going to do one yesterday but decided against it as I didn't want to get upset if it hadn't gone up to 3+ weeks.. When's your first appointment? X

Amz26 · 08/01/2017 10:31

For the gp or midwife mouse

HellsBellsK · 08/01/2017 10:40

Moose try not to worry. If you want to test again wait a few days. But sometimes it doesn't go to 3+ and everything is fine.

Im convinced I don't feel as terrible as I did yesterday morning. So of course its got me thinking also after the little but if brown blood yesterday. But will try and stay positive no cramps really just the odd shooting pain which the doctor said last week was fine and normal.
Wish I could just fast forward to mid February Smile

Amz26 · 08/01/2017 10:47

HellsBellsK - tell me about it! I just want to get to February. I thought once I got pregnant I would stop worrying so much.. It's actually 100% worse now 🤔

MouseLove · 08/01/2017 11:05

I'm seeing my Gp next Saturday and then the midwife on the 27th. I'm a little worried my other health issues might have an effect on my pregnancy which is why I'm seeing both.

Backstory...

In October I was diagnosed slightly hyperthyroid and high inflammatory levels as well as joint problems and was waiting for a specialist appointment in November. I got my rheumatoid appointment but my thyroid got pushed back as the hospital said my Gp didn't give a reason for the referral. I still haven't seen anyone about my thyroid.

In the meantime I saw my rheumatoid specialist in November and then she scheduled an MRI scan on 31st Dec. the appointment letter came quite late in my cycle and it looks I conceived by defying the odds that cycle. I tested on 31st before my scan to make sure I wasn't pregnant. Got my BFP.

I still have an appointment with the rheumatoid specialist in Feb which was meant to be my scan results. And now I'm twirling my thumbs thinking what the hell am I meant to do. I suppose I should speak with my Gp and then ring the MRI dept and the specialist and see what they advise.

Amz26 · 08/01/2017 12:19

mouse- well you're Defo doing the right thing by going to speak to your GP, I hope they can give you some answers! I'm sure they'll be able to reassure you.

It's always the way! It was just meant to be 😀

I also think you should give MRI dept a call and see what they suggest X

OkyDoke · 08/01/2017 13:48

Hi amz! If youre around my stats are... age 27, cycle #1... it was er a suprise haha. Im from Cambridgeshire, this is baby #1. Currently undecided whether we will find out the sex. Estimated due date is 28/8/17, our second wedding anniversary :)

Anyone else not had any sickness at all? I asked my mum and she didnt either.

OkyDoke · 08/01/2017 13:51

Oh and we have three cats!

Amz26 · 08/01/2017 14:39

OkyDoke- All done for you! That would a great anniversary gift!! x

lucylou1234 · 08/01/2017 15:02

thanks mouselove the whole TTC thing is such a stress and i'm only starting to realise the stress doesnt end there ! So happy you got ur BFP :) i know i strted just testing for the sake of it and as 'routine' and was so shocked that i even got a second line! I have high BP and a higher bmi so understand ur health concerns. I lost weight 2 years ago n put it all back on. the stress of wanting a baby, when to start ttc really didnt help me any, so speak to ur doctors and see what advice they have :)

okydoke i havn't been getn much in way of symptoms either. Tiredness is getn better but i say my appetites changed. I wouldnt say i feel sick but somefoods when i look at them i just sometimes don't like the look of. Sometimes boobs feel tingly but that occassionaly. Most days i get some stretchy feelings in my tummy. If i hadn't POAS i doubt i would think i was pregnant.

It's scary i just overanaylse everything then think the worst but trying my best to hope for the best xxxx

EmFe · 08/01/2017 15:17
