Hi all - looks like I'm first here! I'm pregnant with #1, due 2 September. Got my BFP a couple of days ago and already it feels like a rollercoaster ride - I'm utterly thrilled, anxious about the possibility of a loss and terrified at the thought of the birth! But hey, bring it on! Smile

All done for for maybetimenow just need to tell me if you have any pets to add onto the spreadsheet!

If anyone else can't do it let me know, I can add you on there :)

Jaffacakes1234- welcome, sorry to hear about your MC too! Fx for this time xx

sn0wne · 07/01/2017 13:37

Can I join? Just got my BFP today, which taking into account my bizarre irregular cycles makes me anywhere 4-6 weeks gone, wildly EDD 5th Sep. Being an 'older' mum (38) and having had 2 mc's in the last year, I'm refusing to get my hopes up yet. This wasn't planned but we weren't preventing, and I've been pining for a sibling for DD(4) for a while now. Kind of terrified to get on this rollercoaster again, though.

Good luck everyone.

sn0wne · 07/01/2017 13:40

Oh, there's a spreadsheet.

Um, married, location is Netherlands. No idea about cycle - we weren't TTC.

sn0wne · 07/01/2017 13:41

Sorry, NOT finding out sex. DD was a surprise and we loved doing it like that.

MouseLove · 07/01/2017 14:35

Thanks Amz for keeping up with the spreadsheet!! Had a bit of a weird morning. Did another digital test and it was a dud. So we've been out to get some more and 3 major shops we're sold out. Ffs. So finally got some now with extra detours of buying a new sofa and looking at storage solutions in ikea haha. Bonkers.

HellsBellsK · 07/01/2017 14:46

Think this has happened to someone on the thread - But had a bit of brown spotting/CM today. I know it can be normal but of course I am thinking the worst. I am 6+1.
Don't have cramping - still feel like I did over the past while - tired, feel sick in the morning, this morning I thought I was going to be sick walked into the kitchen got a horrible smell and was dry retching in the bathroom. DH said he couldn't smell anything.
Im just worrying, but I know I can't do anything about it.

MaybeTimeNow · 07/01/2017 14:57

@Amz26 You're amazing, thank you!

Amz26 · 07/01/2017 15:00

mouse no problem, thanks for sorting it out in the first place :) should we add some more fun facts?? How annoying about the test this morning, hope you manage to get another one :) will you wait to use FMU? X
I was getting some brown blood but the doctors said to me it could last a few days and it's probably the egg getting comfy.. He said it could happen any time of my pregnancy! I shouldn't worry about spotting of any kind unless I have pains and feel unwell with it.. Try and relax but I know it's hard!! If you feel really anxious make an appointment HellsBellsK X

Amz26 · 07/01/2017 15:01

No problem at all MaybeTimeNow I'll add the rest in now X

HellsBellsK · 07/01/2017 15:04

Thanks Amz My sister in law said the same. She told me last week not to be alarmed if I see it. I also just text her, she had it for most of her two pregnancies and red blood with one also.
It's just so hard not to worry - I have a scan next Saturday so hopefully its just a once off - It anything changes I will get onto the hospital. Now to stop googling!

MouseLove · 07/01/2017 15:10

Well I just did one now. It still stays 2-3 weeks. I'm completely over thinking it but I had bad cramps last night. Like bad period pains for around 10 mins. Niggly tummy today but no pain. No blood. Should I worry? According to LMP I'm 5+5 today.

lucylou1234 · 07/01/2017 15:24

sitting here full of cold updated some spreadsheets for youz as so bored :( oh checked with pharmacist and put some albas oil in water on oil burner so tht seems to be helping. Also ate a couple vicks menthol sweets which are ok as well but dont want to take too many :(

lucylou1234 · 07/01/2017 15:38

mouselove I haven't bothered with CB digital tests I just do the odd one just to check. How about asking g for HCG levels checked at GP ? They check your levels to see how they rise in 48hrs. They say a 60% increase is a good sign. I got mine checked at EPAS and was reassured but I kow that still means there's no guarantees for future but helps keep me positive :)

MouseLove · 07/01/2017 16:11

How do they do that Lucy? Is it a blood sample? Or urine? I'm probably over thinking it.

MaybeTimeNow · 07/01/2017 16:15

Mouse & Hells it's a shitty time to worry isn't it. Weekends are the worst, and booking in appointments always seem so far away now everyone can test early!

I haven't heard from the booking in team yet, used to book in with the doctor, now you fill in a form online and they are meant to call you... if they haven't within 2 weeks you have to chase them. Means my nerves are fraying.

lucylou1234 · 07/01/2017 16:23

mouselove it's 2 blood tests done 48 hours apart to detect the increase in hormone. Mine went from 2000 to 5232 which is a good sign, but like i said doen't give any guarantees for future though but helps too aleviate some worries x Maybe get an appointment with the nurse on monday and request this? it has to be done the exact same time 48hr apart though x

Amz26 · 07/01/2017 16:39

Yeah Defo no googling hellsbellsk it makes you feel worse I think! X

mouse- try not to worry I know it's hard but I also think if it would help Defo ask to get your bloods taken X

Thanks for also helping sort out the spreadsheet lucylou1234 X

OkyDoke · 07/01/2017 16:53

Welcome to lots of new people! Will add myself to spreadsheet on monday when at a pc! Still exhausted with sore boobs and metallic taste in mouth over here. A bit of nausea but no sickness. 7 weeks on monday!

Amz26 · 07/01/2017 18:17

OkyDoke - I'll do it for you now if you want? Send me your stats X

Shwighty1 · 07/01/2017 18:56

Urgh exhausted today! Managed to take the toddler swimming and play numerous jigsaws and thankfully fit in a nap!!!! Then dh ruined my cup of earl grey was gutted, he totally over brewed it, aibu to be annoyed when I'm only having 1 caffeine drink a day! Welcome newbies we're a nice bunch in here!

lilyborderterrier · 07/01/2017 19:34

How do I find the spreadsheet to add my details on please?

lucylou1234 · 07/01/2017 19:42

here it is bit.ly/2iVhNaj i think any way mouselove made it so she will be able to give the link if that doesn't work x

UnreasonableIsMyMiddleName · 07/01/2017 19:44

Hi everyone! I got a bfp today at 13dpo so very early days...... I might not post much until I know things are more certain, hope that's ok..... I'm 38, this is my second and maybe due 17/9! I'm in London but moving to Kent in the spring. Hope everyone feeling ok!

Gingerbreadmam · 07/01/2017 19:55

Try not to worry hells brown blood is old blood so usually nothing to worry about.

It's so tough i know. In both my previous pregnancies i had an almost identical bleed at 9wks. One was mmc and one baby was fine and wiggling away and no cause for bleeding.

I dont feel pregnant at all. 5wks toda. I am getting through it though telling myself today i am still pregnant and until something tells me otherwise im sticking with it!

WhiteLily86 · 07/01/2017 21:33

Gingerbreadman that is a good theory! These first weeks are so difficult, although 'dry january' has been a saviour for me! Not sure what is going to happen in Feb! Avoid all social interactions!

Hells - I have had the same today, first time since my IB. Very scary, also brown and has eased off towards end of day. Googling seems to be the worst idea, I put my phone away all day so I couldn't worry too much and we went a walk along a beach instead 😊 think positive!
