Hi all - looks like I'm first here! I'm pregnant with #1, due 2 September. Got my BFP a couple of days ago and already it feels like a rollercoaster ride - I'm utterly thrilled, anxious about the possibility of a loss and terrified at the thought of the birth! But hey, bring it on! Smile

MaybeTimeNow · 06/01/2017 12:56

Can I join? Tentatively excited! BFP after a Vasectomy reversal, booked in an early scan at 8 weeks to check to see if everything is ok.

Age: 27

WhatwouldRuthdo · 06/01/2017 13:52

I'd like to join too please! Got the first BFP on 21st December, although wasn't officially 'late' until Boxing Day. I have long cycles. These are my stats:

Age: 34
Cycle: 1 (shocked!)
Children: 1
EDD: 5th Sept, I think.
Status: Married
Location: South East

Congratulations everyone.

PotHeadedPixie · 06/01/2017 16:23

Hi eveyone!
I've added myself to the spreadsheet
I got my BFP on Boxing Day, was a massive surprise as we weren't trying and our DD only turned 1 in December and I've only just gone back to work!
I'm due 7 Sept but as I'll have to have a section again it'll probably be a little earlier
Congratulations all Smile

rachjl · 06/01/2017 17:32

Hi could i join please? I found out yesterday and am a bit in shock. Not quite sure what I'm supposed to do now! I have 7yr old twins but have forgotten everything!

Nw85 · 06/01/2017 19:07

My youngest is 8. I will have a 14,11 and 9 Year old when baby arrives. Safe to say I've forgotten everything. It's DPs first so it's nice we're clueless together

Kskifred · 06/01/2017 20:07

Crazy dreams at mo! Does anyone else have tacky saliva too?! Feels like i have a frog
in my throat all the time atm

ADuckNamedSplash · 06/01/2017 20:27

Sorry to hear you’re having a tough time, elpinguino - you’re doing the right thing taking care of yourself x

Welcome Maybe, Ruth, Pixie and Rach!

I’m anxious about telling work too. A long-serving colleague that I’m friendly with once warned me that only child-free women get anywhere (career-wise) in our place - and if you look at the senior females, it seems to hold true. My boss regularly asks when I’m planning on having kids (usually during appraisals Hmm) but has been talking about the possibility of me being promoted in the spring. I definitely can’t hide it that long - at this rate, keeping it secret as far as the 12 week mark will be a struggle.

Anyone else's mouth mostly taste like a tramp's armpit?! Regardless of what you've eaten? I'd forgotten this delight from last time!

MrsK8541 · 06/01/2017 20:39

My mouth tastes disgusting too, mainly in the morning. Way too much saliva going on as well. Have any of you ladies been sneezing more than usual? It's one of the things I've really noticed!

Shwighty1 · 06/01/2017 20:41

Yes to the sneezing!!!!!!!!!!

MrsK8541 · 06/01/2017 20:52

Hahaha! Pregnancy is weird! I heard it's something about mucus membranes ... Wink

WhatwouldRuthdo · 06/01/2017 21:05

No sneezing (yet) but I'm ridiculously thirsty all the time. DH insists I was like this last time but I've completely forgotten

MouseLove · 06/01/2017 21:11

Oh my word I've been sneezing like a mad woman. No cold or anything. My tummy is delicate too. It's it weird!! Lol

MouseLove · 06/01/2017 21:13

And just as i write that i have a sneezing fit. Haha!!

Lasanga365 · 06/01/2017 21:52

May I join? Tentatively joining after a MMC in October. Have done a lot of tests over the past few days, and they're still quite faint so I'm slightly nervous.

Herewegoagain31 · 06/01/2017 22:04

Yes to sneezing here too! And always wake up with a blocked nose

guigirl14 · 06/01/2017 22:40

Wow ladies I hadn't thought of the sneezing being anything to do with being pregnant - been sneezing all week! Just had a lovely couple of hours lying on the sofa with a bucket beside me...who needs morning sickness when you can have evening sickness instead Confused

MiniEggsForAll · 07/01/2017 00:04

MaybeTimeNow · 07/01/2017 08:32

How is everyone feeling? I'm only 4+3 going by lmp, but feeling horrific. Tired and awfully nauseous. I didn't feel like this until at least 7 weeks with my previous.

Can I be a pain and ask that someone adds me to the sheet please? My phone won't manage and I don't have access to a computer at the moment 😳

oliversmummy26 · 07/01/2017 08:38

Hello ladies, can I tentatively join you all?
Got a bfp this morning after having a mc at 10 weeks just 5 weeks ago so caught super quick (they do say you're more fertile after a mc!)
Not sure of dates as haven't had an af since mc but if using mc as date the due 5th September..(hoping for a dating scan early on but not holding my breath!)
Symptoms so far are super vivid dreams (a massive pregnancy symptom for me!), a bit of dizziness, had a cold just after Christmas and the phlegm (sorry!!) just won't quit!, sneezing, tummy cramps, a bit of back ache and tiredness..
Very very excited to be pregnant again so soon, but a bit wary too due to what happened last time. I have a ds from a previous relationship who is 4.5 so know I can carry to term, I never anticipated a mc last time but it's at the front of my mind now..

Amz26 · 07/01/2017 11:20

Welcome and congratulations to everyone new :)

MaybeTimeNow- I'll add it on for you Hun, what's your stats? X
