Morning all. Went out for dinner and a movie with DH last night. Saw 'Hot Fuzz' which was hilarious. I ate almost a full bag of Skittles so what with that and me laughing like a mad woman through the film Bean was dancing and moving around on a real sugar laugh high

Cats woke me early AGAIN so sitting on the couch watching some rugby and trying to get up the energy to strip wallpaper in Bean's room as we are getting our place painted next week.

lillaura · 24/02/2007 10:10

morning girls - i soooooooooo tired today only been up an hour (cuz kids slept in too) was up all nite dd wet bed, ds was burning up this all hppened at the same time so had a manic half hour of deciding whether to clean dd first or calpol ds aaaaggghhhh .. the only thing dd was worried bout was the fact that she had weed on her new barbie nightie

LupinsBigLump · 24/02/2007 11:18

FSF thats reassuring, dd has only just started sleeping through the night and shes 4.5 when she was a baby she was awake loads, not sure i could cope with another 4 years of that

Cinnamon that film does look funny, those actors have always been very amusing,

Lilaura - bless at your dd, have a restful day

Am having a quick sit down them am going to try and get dd to tidy up some of her mess - she is the untidiest child I know but as we have her friend over later I can bribe her ehehehe wicked mummy

SKYTVADDICT · 24/02/2007 11:23

Morning all

Thats sweet lilaura - bless her.

DDs at their dads so a child free weekend for us but we are as I type having the rest of our fitted wardrobes put in our room so there was no lie in for us today.

I slept in DD2s bed anyway and got a much better nights sleep. Think DP did too although I could still hear him snoring and coughing. Will be in there again tonight and if DP still ill tomorrow night think I might get the air bed out so DD2 can sleep in with DD1 and I can still have her bed.

TYG is in Spain this week with her DD, probably back this weekend. I was wondering about LG&T too it seems likes ages since she was here. Still being half term for her makes sense though.

Having people in the house is at least making me do some jobs so better get on.

lillaura · 24/02/2007 11:32

dd only three bess her bout last nite she really paniked 1st time she wet bed so she scared herself - she been wearing knickers to bed for a month with no accidents so was a bit of a surprise - lucky thing was that i only bought a waterproof matress protector three days ago!!!! TG
lupins as for restless babies ds was a real wriggler and violent kicker in tum but sleeps like an angel and has done since he was 6 months, boys are generally more active in womb i think cuz libby hardly ever moves

Frenchsmallfry · 24/02/2007 11:33

oh yes SKY, well remembered, I forgot TYG was going to spain. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh I hope they are having a lovely time, Ummm bet they've got some sun.

Well we now have a lovely pale pink wall in the nursery to go with the 3 antique white. Looks very pretty and girly already. The mural is going to be quite simple. there will be a 'stitched' line going all around the room as a border. On the white walls it will be a pink stitch effect and on the pink it will be creamy white. Then above the border there will be butterflies and the odd flower in a combination of colours. We are a little restricted to the colours we can have as the paint range that we are launching only has a choice of 10. We are going to use a nice limey green, pink, lilac, purple, pale blue, cream, yellowey colour and maybe a brown for shadowing. We have to project the images of butterflies onto the wall and take a picture showing how to get the outline, then a few stage pictures and then the final room with the furniture in. We will have to drag J's cot bed in as we dont have Ella's yet and the baby changer. Good job i bought pink matress sheets and blankets! Should look really pretty once it is done.

FSF - fist picture is on my profile - shows the pink wall - the blue lines are masking tape!

aprilmeadow · 24/02/2007 12:17

*first picture!

lillaura · 24/02/2007 12:39

april - sounds lovely your right does look very girly already sooo cute wish libby was having a room of her own but my ds and dd share at the moment so libby sharing with us till council move us got up to another year in this small two bed house

aprilmeadow · 24/02/2007 12:44

we only moved house 3mths ago and for the forseable future the nursery will be shared with dh who uses it as his office. DS's room has the chest of drawers and wardrobes in so there isnt room for them to share. We are fairly lucky that our rooms are fairly decent sizes so both the desk and the cot fit nicely.

If i didnt work for a design agency then the room would now be complete paint wise :-)

lillaura · 24/02/2007 12:52

well if your anything like me youll love doing it plus the job satisfaction of seeing it finished is rewarding - we will have fun in next house when ds got his own room and the girls will share so can already imagine how girly its gna be lol

Frenchsmallfry · 24/02/2007 12:55
