Mooseville · 05/12/2016 18:41

Hello!!

This is a new wave of grads for those from #TTC1 - Those on the first grade thread are dealing with poonamis and crying babies, while we are still waving our FRER's and wondering if that line is really a figment of our imagination!

Feel free to join in, if you too are embarking on this crazy journey to parenthood!!

ns1348 · 02/02/2017 11:23

You're in my thoughts Mouse

MouseLove · 02/02/2017 11:57

Baby doesn't have a heartbeat anymore. They have taken some more bloods and a provisional second scan to confirm on Saturday when we will take a decision on how to manage the loss. But It's all over.

Thank you so much for all of your support, lovely words and pm's. It wasn't my time. But I am determined not to give up. I will get there. I wish you all wonderful, happy and healthy pregnancies. X

Mooseville · 02/02/2017 12:11

So sorry mouse That is just such awful news... Please take care of yourself and we will be willing you to be back here when the time is right. Flowers

mouse I am heartbroken for you. Take all the time you need to grieve and recover, you are right that your time will come but for now just do what you need to do to get through this - just know that you will get through it. I hope your family can rally round you now when you need them. Xxx

ns1348 · 02/02/2017 12:35

Oh mouse I am so so sorry and deeply sad for you Flowers

I too hope you have a lot of support around you IRL, and that the path forward is as smooth as possible for you now. I'll be thinking of you over the next few weeks and months, and am pleased you're still determined and hope to see you back here before too long.

Hugs.

marmitecheesetoast · 02/02/2017 12:50

So sorry to hear your very sad news Mouse Flowers Please look after and take care of yourself, make sure you're getting plenty of support IRL and take the time you need to grieve. It obviously wasn't the right time, but the time will come and you will be here again.

Musicgrrl · 02/02/2017 12:51

mouse I am so so sorry. I hope you and DH can take the time out of work that you need to come to terms with this and prepare for the next steps. You are such a strong, inspirational lady and I have no doubt that you will be back here soon FlowersFlowersFlowers

Mouse so sorry, we're all thinking of you and wishing you the best. Take care of yourself. Flowers

kavanaughkj · 03/02/2017 20:18

Oh Jesus. I'm so sorry Mouse ... what horrible news. :( Like others have already said, I really hope you have time to yourself to grieve and come to terms with what's happened. Sending all my love and bunches of Flowers.

I'm sorry I've barely been around lately ladies ... work has been kicking my arse. It's still going to be like this for at least another couple of weeks and more likely a month ... thankfully my 12 week scan went really well (I went on Wednesday) and I'm apparently further on than I'd thought - my due date is now 6 August. Also - hallelujah! - my morning sickness has passed! It's such a relief to be able to kick that ever present nausea.

Mooseville · 03/02/2017 21:13

Brilliant news on the scan kav and the sickness disappearing!

Nothing new here!

Grads, just wanted to let you know it's over now for me. I posted a little update on another thread. It might be upsetting so I'll just leave a link for those wanting to know.

Thank you so much for all your support, well wishes and pm's of beautiful words. My heart is full. But id love for nothing more than you to all get on with posting lovely things about your journeys. My time is done here... for now. I wish you all well. X

Musicgrrl · 04/02/2017 08:11

Oh mouse this is devastating, my heart goes out to you and your DH. I'm glad you were treated well at the hospital and that they will be able to do some tests to confirm what happened. It's so kind of you to think to update us - you have been in my thoughts and you will stay that way. You'll be back here soon but for now take all the time you need and look after yourself FlowersCakeBrew

Starmist · 04/02/2017 08:51

Mouse I'm so heartbroken for you. Please take some time to grieve & to look after yourself Flowers thinking of you, your DH & your family xx

Musicgrrl · 04/02/2017 10:44

Doing a catch up from the week:

seahawk I'm A positive blood group so I guess I won't be needing the anti d. I haven't had the results of our screening back yet though so verdict is out on whether we'll need further tests. That must have been a stressful time for you (and you, moose).

I can imagine myself being the same as you in between the 12 and 20 week scans. I'm glad it's not too long for you to wait for yours now. Are you showing much yet? Did you hear the heartbeat at your 16 week midwife appointment?

moose thanks for the second trimester overview. I have actually been feeling my worst this week (headaches, on and off nausea, exhausted) but it seemed to be improving yesterday and given how lightly I have got off so far I can't really complain. When I look ahead in the apps and guides they seem to talk about feeling baby move and also showing from around 16 weeks so I'm sure I'll be getting anxious if and when neither of those things seems to be happening! I wish they would keep it more vague so that there is less reason to worry unduly. At the moment I'm just bloated by the end of each day although my normal jeans still do up okay most of the time.

mrs your gender reveal party sounds great! What are you planning? I have seen those cakes where you cut into it and the sponge is either pink or blue! So much scope for fun games.

kav how great to have a scan and find out that you're further along than you think! What was baby doing while you watched? Could you see much detail?

We are doing a bit of a tour of key friends and family to tell them our news at the moment. Thursday was my mum, yesterday was one of my best friends (I am bridesmaid and will be 8 months) and today is DH's immediate family. I have to admit I'd feel better about it if we had our blood test results back with the Down's etc. risk factor but haven't heard yet. Tests were done on Tuesday so I guess it's a bit soon.

I have also tentatively ordered a Baby on Board badge. This week has been a real struggle standing on over crowded trains and tubes although I do realise I could have asked someone to give up their seat...

Seahawk80 · 04/02/2017 10:50

Good luck with the results music I think the longer they take the more likely it is that it's good news so fx.

I'm definitely showing now at 19 weeks and I think I've felt a bit of movement but I'm not 100% sure yet. I got to listen to the heartbeat at the midwife appt but I had also been for a scan 2 days before as I was so freaked out by the lack of symptoms! My ultrababy do a babydate scan for £39
(Even in London!) from 12-16 weeks, it's pretty quick but was so reassuring and really worthy it.

Seahawk80 · 04/02/2017 10:51

Not my ultrababy - sorry it was ultrasound direct!

Starmist · 04/02/2017 16:00

Mrs gender reveal party sounds brilliant fun. Looking forward to hear what you have planned for it.

I've got my 12 week scan on Thursday, it's been a long time coming. Glad I've only got 3 more days at work to try & hide my little bump. It'll be so lovely to be able to show it off.

If all is well at the scan then we'll be doing a pregnancy photo shoot on the Sunday. Erm clearly it won't be anything like Beyoncé's 🙈

Have been feeling particularly sick these past few days. Threw up a little bit in my mouth today, it was grim. I'm not enjoying feeling sick through the night as I'm not getting much sleep. I've been very grouchy - poor DH!

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend xx

MrsG280516 · 04/02/2017 16:14

Sending all my love and best wishes for the future mouse Flowers such an awful thing to go through.

Star as soon as my DH saw the Beyoncé announcement he said we should do a parody 😂

For the gender reveal party we are doing blue and pink sweets and cakes along with balloons and photo shoot props (all pretty cheap on eBay). Then for the reveal we're getting pink or blue silly string and getting our families to spray us with it to find out! So excited. It's a totally Americanised thing like baby showers but I love any excuse for a celebration!

Mooseville · 04/02/2017 17:32

mrsG That sounds so much fun. Who is responsible for finding out and buying the silly string?!

Lazy weekend here, finishing the house packing ready for the move on Tuesday...
feeling lots more movement. DP also felt it today - it's a bit freaky! Grin
