I woke up feeling all worried that I hadn't felt nauseous or the normal pendulum-boob-agony but then I vomited in the car.. EVERYWHERE. Was on motorway so just couldn't stop and had to try and clean myself up at work. Disgusting!

Home now!!

I am absolutely sure I'm having a boy (only 9 +0 today). There haven't been any girls in DHs family and DS is a boy. I would really like a girl (is that awful ? Blush ) and so because I'm sure its not a girl I'm not allowing myself to even consider that. We have a boys name already!

Donostia · 21/11/2016 09:20

Oh missed the twin news mimi wow!! The twins on my last bus were born to a family in almost exactly the same circumstances - but they managed fine and the twins are gorgeous 3 y/o now and really easy!

Passmethecrisps · 21/11/2016 09:42

Twins mimi! That is amazing!

Hope wellies is ok this morning.

I feel like a half shut knife today as dd woke at 4 (there is no worse time to wake imo) kept wailing and crying and needing things (lullabies on her MP3 player of all things). I think I dosed off at 6 and the alarm goes off at 6:30. Yuck

oliversmummy26 · 21/11/2016 09:52

Good morning all, it's been busy on here over the weekend! I usually check at work while I'm cyber slacking, so always have loads to catch up on on Monday morning.

How did you get on with the 111 doc wellies Hope the bleeding has lessened and you're feeling better?

Wow - twins! Congratulations!

Two babies born yesterday, one was an old uni friend and the other my SIL, both girls.

My parents in law now have 5 granddaughters, no boys. DH is one of 4 (2 girls and 2 boys), I am one of 5 (1 boy and 4 girls), so it's anyone's guess what we'll have. My DS would like a baby sister, and to be honest we would all like a girl, but another boy would be just lovely too! We will be finding out at the 20 week scan though, so excited!

Nausea is back, not enough to stop me eating (mores the pity as I've ballooned!!) but just feel sea sick all the time. I tried my maternity jeans on yesterday, but they made me look far too pregnant (about 20 weeks!!) so holding off on wearing those until we're telling people.

Scan 3 weeks tomorrow (which seems like a lifetime away!), DH sisters are convinced we're pregnant, mostly because he told them I was ovulating just after our wedding (2 months ago)...he's neither confirming nor denying, which isn't helping I don't think. Still we're waiting until we've had our scan at 12 weeks (and until we've had the screening results if NT measurement is inconclusive).. I'm hoping to tell my family on Boxing Day, as I won't see them from 13th December until then, so can hide my bump away from them. Will tell my boss at work probably a couple of days before the scan as I need to get the time off, but will try and avoid telling colleagues until the new year, as off for two weeks from 23th December...

So much to think about and all sorts going on!!

8+6 today

Mimi333 · 21/11/2016 09:59

Thank you lazy! Yes I'm terrified!!!!

Mimi333 · 21/11/2016 10:01

Oh sorry only just seen everyone else's lovely replies! Thank you so much! & thanks for the reassurance donostia!

VeganMama83 · 21/11/2016 10:06

Wondered if we'd have any twins on this bus! Congrats Mimi! xxx

Mooseville · 21/11/2016 10:12

Gosh twins! I imagine it'lol be horrendously hard at first but then so rewarding watching them grow up together! How exciting mimi

I literally have no idea whether this will be a girl or a boy. My siblings have four boys between them but my DP has a sister and many cousins and all six of those with kids have had girl then boy!

Sixisthemagicnumber · 21/11/2016 10:21

Twins and a toddler. It will be hard work but so much Fun mimi. Congrats

donostia I'm secretly hoping for a girl too as we already have 3 boys. I will be happy with a healthy boy and it will be easier for bedroom allocations but deep down I think a little girl would be nice.

babyand · 21/11/2016 10:28

Morning ladies.

I'm always reading just never really get a chance to reply as I'm suffering bad with sickness and looking at my phone too long makes me woozy!
9+3 today. Was sick up until 16-17 weeks with dd. Is it wishful thinking that it will end sooner this time

Masweetpea1 · 21/11/2016 10:29

mimi, twins eh!! Congrats!!

I'm a drivelling wreck today. Worried sick about my scan tomorrow. Hoping that the internal bleed has gone and heartbeat is still there, but the waiting has completely got to me over the weekend, the nearer i get the worse i get. Got into work and my job share partner has left a load of crap for me to deal with as well as a complaint about her that i needed to sort. I just couldn't handle it and sat there sobbing at my desk. Blush Nothing physically has changed today, I'm just getting myself in a tizz about it, i blame the hormones! Blush. Roll on 4pm tomorrow......

12 weeks today Smile

Thank you! Yes I'm writing off the first year to sleep deprivation & I anticipate many, many tears (from me). I look at my little boy & my heart breaks thinking of how much he's going to get neglected at first Sad but long term hopefully he'll love having 2 siblings all close in ages. Trying not to think about the my job & how on earth I'll go back.

Are you all finding out the sex? I love surprises & wasn't going to but definitely will now. I am anticipating 2 more boys as well! Can't wait to hear what everyone is having! We will have to try guessing from all of the 12 week scan photos

Mimi333 · 21/11/2016 10:33

Sorry to hear that masweet Sad keep distracted with work (you have no choice by the sounds of your selfish co-worker!) and tomorrow will be here before you know it xx

oliversmummy26 · 21/11/2016 15:55

Have any of you ladies further on lost the bloat yet? I'm so hideously bloated (I don't remember this from last time) and am getting cramps due to wind and constipation (sorry TMI)...I look so very pregnant, but only because I'm bloated I think.

Just wondering if this will go before a proper bump pops out..?

I'm 8+6 today

MumofthreeandBean · 21/11/2016 15:58

My bloat turned into bump 😂
12.5

oliversmummy26 · 21/11/2016 16:33

I'm really hoping it turns into a little bump! ha ha Grin I must up my water intake and am going to try some probiotics to see if that helps...by afternoon I'm really uncomfortable and gassy, and hate looking at myself in the mirror, my belly is just a massive jelly-like blob!! I don't think it helps that I'm about 1.5 stone heavier now than I was when I got pregnant with DS...

TwinkleStars15 · 21/11/2016 17:55

Please may I join? I found out 12 days ago that I'm pregnant, now 8+2, had a scan on Friday and saw the heartbeat which was amazing. I have quite a story behind the pregnancy so feeling very anxious/excited/scared etc but I'll share that once I know you all a bit more! Smile I'm off to read the whole thread and catch up...

KittyVonCatsington · 21/11/2016 18:38

Hi twinkle and hi mimi!! So lovely to have you both join!!!! Lots of wonderful blessings there Grin

KittyVonCatsington · 21/11/2016 18:39

Oh and mimi -although I am not having twins I think! - this is also an 'accident'. Who knew condoms didn't always work either?! Ha ha! I have an 18 month old DD and sleep is and will be a write-off methinks!

Sixisthemagicnumber · 21/11/2016 19:02

I can confirm that exclusive breastfeeding and hoping for the best is not good contraception either 😂

mrspage1985 · 21/11/2016 19:09

Ahhhh mimi twins how cute!!! Xxx

Masweetpea1 · 21/11/2016 19:18

donastia, how are you feeling now? Did your car survive the experience?? Wink

Mimi333 · 21/11/2016 19:18

Thanks kitty, mrspage & six!
Haha good to know it wasn't just me being naive then! We're obviously all very fertile/lucky!!
I need to stop googling "twins with a toddler" - there are no comforting stories!

Masweetpea1 · 21/11/2016 19:20

Im currently working my way through a jar of nutella Blush

Donostia · 21/11/2016 19:50

Welcome twinkle

I'm fine thank you sweet felt ok soon after. Almost pleased in a strange way! Car is new so that's a huge frustration but most went on me luckily. Have left windows open and will take it to get Valeted at the weekend (it's quite cheap in the local car park!)

I will be finding out the sex because living in Spain they use different adjective ending depending on whether its a girl or a boy so the sonographers as a rule don't keep it secret! I would anyway though. I have a preference and would like time to get used to the idea of never having a daughter (I have an incredible son and two boys would be really lovely as well but I'll always be the mother of a son and maybe never a daughter if that makes sense!)
