Thanks for setting up the new thread Sweetpea. Hope everyone is doing ok. Sorry to those still feeling yukky - really hope it eases soon. Feel like I have loads to catch up on. Tea I'm jealous of the super comfy bras. The wires are what's drive me crazy. Just want something soft but that hides the nipple situation! Got my scan appointment through for 23rd November - can't wait. Skee I have the illuminous pee too! It's so weird. Wonder what causes it? I'm defo putting on a bit of timber now as everything is starting to feel snug Hmm Can't wait til it looks like a bump and not just a food baby. Is anyone else experiencing strange goings on with their heart? For a little while now, ive been getting these flutters. My heart just seems to skip a beat and it catches my breath. Happens quite a few times a day. I read that it can be normal due to extra blood flow but thinking I might get it checked. Hope you all have a lovely night Smile

dragon mine is on an iPhone and has 2 wee arrows at the top that flip the posts back to front so the newest is at the top.

7.6 today still feeling fine.... lol should I be worried??? Book in 2 weeks today. I guess I still don't believe it's real! Xx

MoonlightMojitos · 03/11/2016 18:46

Wow, 3rd thread already! We're a chatty lot haha.

To those that were worried about symptoms stopping (can't remember who on last thread sorry) mine calmed right down about a week ago now. My nausea had been really bad 24/7 but pretty much stopped over night, now I only get a few waves of it occasionally. I was worried but scan on Monday showed everything was perfect so I think it's just the placenta taking over more.

Nothing much to report here.

I was at work today and my boas passed me my phone (we have to keep them in a cupboard in the classroom) I had bought a pregnancy app last week and a notification had popped up saying "you are ten weeks pregnant today!" I'm hoping she didn't see it!!

No nausea for a few days which is good/worrying at the same time! I'm just feeling exhausted all the time so being very very lazy, husband has been working in Scotland all week so I've let the house get into a total tip, he is back tomorrow so I have this evening to do it all Confused hoping I don't sit down and fall asleep like I did last night!

Walkerbean16 · 03/11/2016 19:08

Boas = boss!

Mommytobe2017 · 03/11/2016 19:15

Poppy I've been having what feels like heart palpitations. I've had it before after eating lots of chocolate Blush I must not do well with caffeine!!

Just been to homebargains and bought 2 big packs of fruit pastilles and 1 jelly tots

I think the cravings are starting. I don't want chocolate ShockShock I want fruity sweets...

Hehehe

I like being pregnant, it's an excuse to say I want mcdonalds Grin

Sixisthemagicnumber · 03/11/2016 20:14

walker pregnancy is the perfect excuse to have the house in a tip. Growing a human is tiring hard work and I'm sure your DH will understand.

Dragon5000 · 03/11/2016 20:20

I remember really struggling to fit into my normal jeans by 9 weeks last time, this time they're still falling down! And I'm exactly the same weight.

My sister told me she's down for the weekend the day after my scan which is ace cos we can tell everyone at the same time and i don't have to lie about drinking!

Feeling pretty symptom free apart from exhausted

Ordered padded maternity bras from next - v comfy!!
Got over bump maternity jeans too - v comfy!!
Might live in them now 😂

Worked out today I will be 12.6 at my scan, feeling fed up!! Thought it was 12.1, a few days shouldn't matter but I really need the peace of mind! Just want to know everything's ok!!

Tmi but Piles?? Anyone else suffer? What can I use 😊

KittyVonCatsington · 03/11/2016 20:25

Thanks for the new thread Masweetpea!!

Can you return your jeans or sell them on a Facebook selling site Walkerbean? Sounds like you have a gorgeous bump there! And not finding out till 17 weeks last time? Wow! Lots of saved angst there but must have been a huge shock when you found out!!! Hope boss didn't see your pop up, ha ha!

The luminous yellow will be the excess vitamins in your strong pregnancy victim ins-perfectly normal Skee but really weird!! Grin

Ah yes!! Those DVT stockings-super sexy and that 'puppy training pad' they put under you on the bed instead of sanitary pads-oh the joys to come ha ha!!!

Totally normal re your nipple discharge haveacupoftea-another of he glamorous things of pregnancy!! My nips are rather large at the moment but not painful yet

Sorry you feel so sick Hazy-you poor poor thing!

Seems like nausea is taking over everyone at the moment. I have a DD and didn't get much nausea last time at all (plenty of constipation though and lots of spots!) This time I have more nausea and no spots-maybe boy?!?!

Thankfully the spotting going means all is back on track Vegan-keeping everything crossed!

The fluttering and heart skipping is normal Poppy-I've always had it wary pregnancy but no harm in getting it checked to help put your mind at ease

Am about 7+4 and starting to get used to the idea of two kids!

KittyVonCatsington · 03/11/2016 20:28

Oh - just saw *Mum re piles. Yes. I got them last pregnancy and they have never truly gone away but much smaller now. Take Lactulose daily to help soften the stools. Use moist toilet tissue all the time. Use Anusol cream (the suppositories can't be used in pregnancy, boo!) and just wait for your baby to arrive-it all got better after he birth!

Walkerbean16 · 03/11/2016 20:35

kitty I have worn them now so I'll just keep them, but I doubt they will last the month let alone another six! I will put them on eBay, I've just joined it and it's not good for my bank balance! Will be good to be selling instead of buying!

NappingRabbit · 03/11/2016 20:36

I'm convinced I'm having another boy as all symptoms have been exactly the same as last time. We would both love a girl as this will be our last baby and we'd love to experience both, but won't be unhappy with another boy if he turns out to be as great as DS.

Got my rescan in the morning and am suddenly nervous. Had the original one to follow up on some cramping but it was too early to see more than a yolk sac. Keeping my fingers tightly crossed that all is as it should be and I see a teeny tiny heartbeat.

Mommytobe2017 · 03/11/2016 21:31

It would seem that my new bedtime is 8pm Shock

😪 I keep falling asleep but I want to watch the TV!

Oh well it's Friday tomorrow!! Happy days Grin

SleepForTheWeak · 03/11/2016 22:08

How do I put my details on the spreadsheet? Have downloaded the app but can't figure it out (I'm blaming baby brain!)

Extremely nauseous all the time but haven't actually been sick. I'm eating tonnes of crap as it's the only thing that peaks my interest, which in turn makes me feel more sick. It's a tough cycle!

Saw midwife today to pick up a few bits and pieces, booking in in two weeks and will arrange scan when I'm there.

I will have to travel 3 hours for my scans - yes - 3 hours!!!

Sixisthemagicnumber · 03/11/2016 22:16

mum I had piles on and off in my last pregnancy, germoloids ointment (not the cream as ointment is loads better) worked really well.

Creatureofthenight · 03/11/2016 22:19

Evening all!
Got some Tuc crackers in, they are definitely the way forward.

Poppydm · 03/11/2016 22:25

Thanks ladies, that's reassuring. Fingers crossed for you for tomorrow Napping.
3 hours is a bit of a mammoth journey Sleep. Will you be driving or can you relax for a few hours and maybe download a movie or a book onto your phone?

Skee · 03/11/2016 22:48

Evening everyone Smile

Thanks too for confirming your lumi-pee Poppy and Kitty! That's a few of us now, so I'm accepting it as 'normal' during pregnancy Grin

Ah Mojitos! You're giving me hope that there is an end to this nausea nightmare Smile

All the best for your scan Napping!

Walker - one of my biggest fears is the wrong pop ups on my phone! I've managed to turn all of my notifications off, just in case. Hopefully you're boss hasn't seen the message!

Chin up Hazy, hope you're not feeling too rough x

Mommytobe I'm exactly the same - asleep on the couch by 8:30pm... despite my best efforts!

Ugh babyand I'm really struggling with my 18 month old, it feels so much harder than last time when I could just get into bed if I felt horrendous! Lots of cbeebies here to get through the mornings.

Threw up for the first time this morning, actually felt better than the constant nausea. Ginger nuts and dried fruit are helping a bit.

Had a mini scan at my booking in appointment, in Australia things are all done differently, got to see the sac but not much else. Will have dating scan at 8 weeks and then another at 12 weeks with screening bloods.

Just wishing this first trimester would hurry up, I know I'm lucky to be pregnant but can't say I'm enjoying it much at the moment.

I was asleep in bed by 8pm last night, dh wasn't very happy but I'm usually taxi for the kids so made the most of football training being cancellled.
kitty & six thanks re piles advice. I got them with dc1, they have got worse with each child and now I have IBS and it clearly doesn't help!! I will get something today, and soft moist wipes 😂😂

mrspage1985 · 04/11/2016 06:14

Poppy yes I have been getting the flutterings of heart!!
10.2 today and less than 2 weeks now to scan, though I may have accidentally booked another (this will be my 3rd) private scan for Sunday ...I think I have an addiction!!!

Mommytobe2017 · 04/11/2016 07:19

skee I'm terrible. I'll probably be worse when baby is here! Thank goodness we get mat leave.

Happy Friday everyone!!

HazyHazyJeans · 04/11/2016 08:16

Morning everyone. Hope you're all feeling ok.

Thanks for the sympathy. I'm sure I'm feeling no worse than most of us so I just need to get on with it Smile

I've decided I'm in need of a Nandos today. It's my day off with DD so I think we'll go there for lunch Grin

Happy Friday!
