kitty I wouldn't say I've been having constipation but last night I had some wind trapped.....not like the painful trapped wind you get high up, this was low down and wouldn't come out and when I sat in my chair it was like I was sitting on a balloon inside my bottom!! Which was uncomfortable as it put pressure on everything else in there! Thankfully I managed to get it all out later Grin

8+5 today...

MissisBee · 13/11/2016 13:14

Oh that wee dog was all over my news feed yesterday, I was weeping every time I saw him!
Managed not to cry, boke or faint at the remembrance service, it didn't rain much and now I'm nice and warm and dry at home

Masweetpea1 · 13/11/2016 13:18

I cried at the job Lewis advert and the greyhound story. So sad Sad

Orange juice and Prune juice have never worked for me during pregnancy-just resigned to 9 months of 'unmentionable symptoms'. My constipation disappeared as soon as I had given birth last time Grin

MumofthreeandBean · 13/11/2016 14:15

Is anyone else really hairy??
My leg hair and under arms are growing so quick they need shaving twice a week at least! I've given up for now, hairy legs in winter isn't so bad 😂

MrsRose1987 · 13/11/2016 16:49

Kitty ask the doctor for something. It's a long 9 months. I was the total opposite with DD, fine for 9 months and then boom backed up due to a fisure after.

Bean I'm hairy because I literally don't have the energy to shave. I found with DD I got less hairy, so hopefully it'll be the same this time.

On our way home from our scan. She couldn't see much due to my very tilted uterus but she could see one bean with a very strong heartbeat. That's all I was hoping for, some very happy. She said she's had a lot of twin pregnancies at the moment, but ruled that out for us. Thankfully!

DizzyNorthernBird · 13/11/2016 17:17

Ah ma and missis I'm glad it's not just me then! The greyhound owner was on This Morning on Friday with the dog and I was in tears within minutes and had to switch it off.....haven't even watched them on the walk as I can't bear it! I'm such a sucker for pooches, I can't watch movies about dogs (Marley & Me and the like) as the dog always dies or gets hurts and I'm in bits!!

mum I am! I'm always a bit hairy anyway as I have pcos but I've not had time to wax lately and the growth on my bikini line and down the back of my thighs has just gone crazy!! I don't like shaving these areas so I'm in a right mess!!

rose that's great news about the scan, congrats!

Mooseville · 13/11/2016 17:49

Hi everyone. My jeans are getting uncomfortably tight - have I just been eating too much or is this it so early? Seems too early to buy maternity jeans but I'm so uncomfortable! Is it?

MumofthreeandBean · 13/11/2016 18:10

moose I am huge! Been kidding myself it's bloating but it doesn't disappear! My jeans are tight and so are my tops now!!! I'm either further than I thought or its twins! 😂🙄

Masweetpea1 · 13/11/2016 18:15

moose, i was in maternity jeans by week 10 last time. I didn't particularly need them it was just more comfortable as my other jeans were a bit tight!!
This time i was in them by week 6!! Blush

Hi all, have been hopeless at keeping up this week so thought I'd check in quickly.

I dug out all my old maternity clothes yesterday to see what I have. One pair of jeans still fit ok but the ones I lived in are so baggy and saggy round my legs and bum - I don't want to get that big again! I didn't put on loads of weight, around 2st, but it just seems like a huge difference! I've started half a stone lighter this time so hopefully I'll finish the pregnancy lighter.

On scan countdown now - 2 weeks tomorrow. Good luck to all who have theirs coming soon!

MrsRose you are so kind but I went back and forth so many times with my GP/midwife/consultant last time, there is just not much they could do so assume this is just the way I am when I am pregnant as opposed to morning sickness! At least I am not freaking out about it all this time Smile

Mumofthree I had a very hairy belly last time till about 30 weeks so hope I might have dodged that bullet this time. Wink

VeganMama83 · 13/11/2016 19:17

Hey everyone! Off work for a week now and DH let me have a lie in today! He got up 7.30am with the boys and I slept til 9.45am! Deffo feel better for it.

Went to DH sis today as nephews bday and was so hard saying nothing! Esp since BiL girlfriend is 30 weeks preg with a girl and everyone was discussing how girls are catching up with boys in their fam!

Couldn't wear the sickness bands today cos of the clothes I was wearing and boy do I know about it!

Both boys are asleep now and DH has gone out for food as I just fancied chip butties.

In other news

1.) my skin is still terrible and spotty
2.) it won't be long til I'm in maternity jeans
3.) I've been looking at more cloth nappies and can already sense how addictive it will be!
4.) me and DH thought we had names sorted but now can't agree on a girl name. I have had my heart set on a particular girl name for ages and he's not 100% on it! There's literally nothing that comes close to this one name for me!

I am in maternity jeans for comfort. I figure i'm carrying a baby around so the least I can do for myself is be comfy! My usual jeans digging into me and I just can't cope.

I'm having an unusually 'pregnant' day today. Sicky, hungry but off food, tired, sore nipples and weepy. Not helped by Christmas adverts that get me all emotional anyway!

Scan on Friday, I can hardly wait!

Dragon5000 · 13/11/2016 19:57

I ate 4 chocolate buttons and felt immediately sick after and still do :'(
In generally hairy but seem to be much more hairy atm must go and epilate but I'm lazy!
Bikini line is fine as I that waxed but she noticed it was worse than normal so we've had to shorten the time between

MoonlightMojitos · 13/11/2016 20:01

Thankfully, the sickness has gone for me now! I wonder if it was a bug but I didn't have any other symptoms, so strange. Back to eating like a pig today! Fry up for breakfast and 2 roasts (mums for lunch and home for dinner) Blush

OMG the greyhound.... don't get me started. I'm crying at everything at the moment... planet earth last week, remembrance things today... I'm a mess!

Congrats on the scan mrsrose!

moose oh my jeans! So tight! I had a browse online at h&m maternity earlier and was tempted! Going to try and wait a little longer but I can't wait to get in to my pajamas every eve!

Excited for all the scans coming up! 12 days til mine Grin!

MoonlightMojitos · 13/11/2016 20:03

Ooh dragon how have you found waxing? I usually have mine waxed but I havnt yet as week 5 I had a terrible, terrible ingrown hair that got infected and everything! Never had that before and I've heard it can be prone during pregnancy so it put me right off! Really need to get back to it though.

Dragon5000 · 13/11/2016 20:17

It's a bit more sensitive, I have a full Hollywood. I am prone to in grown hairs so religiously salt scrub which helps a lot.

I've been wearing maternity jeans on and off but daren't at work in case anyone sees!

Monkeyandthebear · 13/11/2016 20:17

Today I have just felt knackered. Bit worried as we have planned a weekend in London next weekend and I don't want to have to sleep all the time. Going to see The Lion King!!

I too am really weepy today and have cried at every rememberence thing we have watched. Made me think of my grandad. I reach 12 weeks on the day of his birthday (14th Dec) and taking that as a real positive as if my grandparents are watching out for me and the little bean, so obviously I blubbed non stop at the stories on TV today.

5 days until booking appointment Grin and telling work tomorrow (feel like I have to) Sad

MoonlightMojitos · 13/11/2016 20:43

Same dragon, I don't think I could cope if it's any more painful than usual! It's as much as I can cope with as it is but it's just so much easier to be able to have it done and forget about it for weeks! I might book in for when I'm 12 weeks and see how it goes.

Has anyone tried gaviscon tablets? They're so shit. They just get stuck in your teeth all gooey and disgusting. Need to get the liquid tomorrow.... such bad indigestion right now.

Good luck tomorrow monkey! I'm dreading telling my work :(.

NappingRabbit · 13/11/2016 21:20

Just had my first proper craving. I actually got up from under my blanket on the sofa and walked (only over the road) to Tesco to buy... drumroll an apple. A crisp, lovely one. It has made my evening. I would have been gutted if it had turned out to be floury.

MumofthreeandBean · 13/11/2016 21:28

rabbit I have been eating lots of apples!!

Mommytobe2017 · 13/11/2016 21:41

That's funny I've been eating pears everyday.

I felt so guilty walking around asda today, because of all the chocolate I've consumed, I bought some carrot sticks. Yum. Hmm
I got some big 1litre bottles of water too, to make sure I'm drinking enough

I'm seriously thinking about mat clothes now. Especially pjs, mine always shrink anyway so I never have any that fit properly.

Any tips on what to get? sizes? Do I go for my usual size or one up? I have absolutely no idea...

I've been looking at smp today too... No idea how I will be paying bills if I'm on half the salary I'm on now...

Hunger is terrible again. Eating constantly so I don't feel sick. No wonder my jeans are tight. Sis told me I already have a bump...

No idea how I'll keep it from the rest of work much longer. I do have to wear overalls though so that helps... Not sure if they do mat ones...

napping i had a craving for a cheese bap dipped in gravy. DF gave me very strange looks when i ate it lol.

Sixisthemagicnumber · 13/11/2016 22:02

I have a bump already 😩. I'm only 8+5 and I already have a definite bump. I have lost about 4lb since getting pregnant but my clothes are getting tight. Even my leggings felt snug around the tummy today. I was hoping not to tell anyone until a week before xmas but I'm not sure how well I will be able to hide it. I'm going to be the size of an elephant at this rate!
