Oh and I sent a work colleague out to buy satsumas yesterday - yum! Ds has eaten most of them so buying more today!

Skee · 12/11/2016 08:34

Oh Tea, sorry to hear you're sick again. You're post about at least being able to deal with your bodily functions at home, did make me laugh though 😂

Good luck today Hazy! Star Enjoy!

MumofthreeandBean · 12/11/2016 08:35

Ooops tea don't worry too much! Do the exercises and wear a pantyliner incase x it happens to most of us.

hazy enjoy the scan! (Jealous!)

My cold is worse, now I have a cough, runny nose and stingy eyes too - I know I can take paracetamol but anything else recommended?? Might of well not bothered with the flu jab!!

Still addicted to the satsumas too Dragon, they're the only foodstuff I've remained interested in... with the amount I'm eating, at least my bambino won't have my pasty Scottish complexion 😂

MumofthreeandBean · 12/11/2016 08:40

skee complexion more like the tango man??!!

Poppydm · 12/11/2016 09:00

Good luck with the scan today Hazy! So excited for you!

Skee · 12/11/2016 09:33

Hahaha! Not gonna lie Bean, the thought had crossed my mind... 😂

fooolofbeans · 12/11/2016 11:14

Hello! Can I join? I've been lurking for (what feels like 87 years) 6 weeks. Its taken me that long to get over the shock of a BFP and only after an early scan can I start to believe I'm not imagining the nausea and humongous boobs.
Booking in next week and wishing my life away until the second trimester and (hopefully) feeling a bit more normal again for a bit.
Is anyone keeping up with exercise? At the start of my heart rate increasing I feel sick and dizzy but would really like to stay as fit as possible to help deal with birth etc

MoonlightMojitos · 12/11/2016 12:06

ma it's awful isn't it, hope you're feeling better

skee mine is definately just 'morning' sickness. I haven't had any diahorrea or other symptoms except the sickness and it feels the same as nausea before just ramped up a gear. I'm fine as long as I don't eat or drink anything but as soon as I do I'm sick again, even if it's just a few bites. I had a few hours last night when it stopped and I managed some rice cakes and an apple and then it started again about 10 o'clock:(. I don't know if it's best to just not drink anything at all (and not be sick) or keep trying a few sips every few mins knowing I'll be sick. If it hasn't stopped by tomorrow will definitely have to ring the doctor.

Skee · 12/11/2016 12:07

Hello beans! Welcome and congratulations! Star

My training fell off a cliff when my nausea hit. Just felt too sick to do anything, and when I went for a road ride I kept having to pull over gagging.

I'm feeling a bit better now, and determined to get back into it. I got really fit throughout the year and nervous to see the pounds piling on again.

I'm going to attempt to start running again, but with 5km distances. And although I struggle with patience, I might try today again 😂

MoonlightMojitos · 12/11/2016 12:10

beans I planned on keeping up exercise but that went straight out the window with nausea and exhaustion, I struggle to even walk the dog most days! I bought 2 dvds this week which I'm hoping to start soon, going to try and make myself do them 3 times a week.

My boobs have got massive this week too suddenly. I was worried during if I was the only one who's hadn't got bigger but all of a sudden this week they are gigantic. I was a 32e to start and now bursting out the top of my bra... will have to go bra shopping next weekend I think.

MoonlightMojitos · 12/11/2016 12:11

*wondering not worried during!

Skee · 12/11/2016 12:11

Oh Mojitos, what a shame! At least with that winter bug, you know it'll be over pretty quickly!

I know it's hard when you're so sick, but I think it's definitely better to keep sipping water if you can?

Much love, and hope it passes soon ❤️

Skee · 12/11/2016 12:13

'Today' was supposed to say 'yoga'... I was going to try yoga again. Not sure how I managed that..?

Mommytobe2017 · 12/11/2016 12:47

It's so exciting that we're all getting scans and dates for scans now!

Everybody says how slow things go but I swear it's going faster than ever!!

I'm already going to be 10 weeks on Mon/Tues! That means we've known about 6 weeks now.

We've decided to tell our siblings today. Now that we've had booking in and the scan date. I'm more nervous to tell them though than I was telling my Dad!

Oh and all that orange juice I drank last night was not a good idea. Can't decide if that cramps are that or baby...

fooolofbeans · 12/11/2016 13:37

skee and mojitos thanks it makes me feel a bit better to know others find keeping up with exercise difficult in the first trimester. Im going to try swimming this week and keep saying ill attempt a run and just scale it back to a run/walk if I struggle but never quite make it out the door Blush could really do with something to counteract the endless grazing that seems to have kicked in after not being able to eat much at all for the first 4 weeks

fooolofbeans · 12/11/2016 13:37

Oh and 8 + 3 ish BTW

MumofthreeandBean · 12/11/2016 13:47

Congrats and welcome fool
I'm aftraid I've never been one for exercise, these days I'm lucky if I last a whole day at work!! I have no motivation at all

HazyHazyJeans · 12/11/2016 15:14

Welcome fool Smile

Thanks for all the well wishes for the scan. It was good! Everything where it should be, lively little bean & heartbeat. Measuring a couple days ahead of where I thought at 8+3 It's starting to feel a bit real now! Grin

MrsRose1987 · 12/11/2016 17:23

Tea I'm weeing myself constantly. Not full blown empty bladder wees but it's like I'm leaking wee. It's actually one of the first things that made me think I was pregnant as haven't weed myself since I was pregnant with DD. Really struggling with sickness today. I was sick all the way through my pregnancy with DD (from 6 weeks until I gave birth, all day every day). I'd forgotten how difficult and expensive it is. Is it June yet?

MrsRose1987 · 12/11/2016 17:25

Beans not wanting to put you off but swimming actually brought on my SPD with DD.

VeganMama83 · 12/11/2016 17:54

Sorry I'm about to whinge!

Beyond tired. Still feeling sick 24:7 (worse if I don't wear the sickness bands) and food that appeals to me one minute doesn't the next!

I sick of moaning to DH and can't wait to feel better. this is the opposite of my preg axis with my boys! x

MumofthreeandBean · 12/11/2016 18:20

Big hugs vegan
My poor dh is fed up of me moaning!
My sickness is not so bad now but colds seem so much worse being pregnant, I'm such a moaner!!!

haveacupoftea · 12/11/2016 18:23

Thank God its not just me mrsrose...thanks for sharing, you've made me feel a lot better Smile sorry you're having a hard time with sickness Flowers

Masweetpea1 · 12/11/2016 18:31

I am to have moved on from nausea to nausea and retching. Omg it's horrendous! And then I'm retching so hard that I'm also weeing myself tea, so you're definitely not alone!! Its glamorous this pregnancy lark! I've downloaded the app someone mentioned earlier so thanks for that!!

Someone mentioned doughnuts earlier on here, so i had to buy some Grin They were amazing! I didn't feel so great afterwards though Blush
